WPM is a system of communication and
consultation, either formal or informal, by
which employees of an organization are

express their opinion and contribute to
mgt decisions.

Autonomous work group- work is made responsible to carry out all the activity assigned and they are accountable to management or superiors. Each group plan, organize and direct the activities on its own. It formulate its objective of its own. A leader is appointed for each group through election. Industrial democracy- Socio-technical system--- there are 3 approach for organization i.e., social system, technical system, socio-technical. Social system deals with designing organisation based on social principle, technical system deals with engineering approach, but socio-technical is combined approach for organization design.
