MAUS has many memorable scenes as Artie goes through his father s life through his comic.
Through guilt, lack of communication, as well as lack of relationship that Artie and Vladek had as

Chapter 5 of MAUS Artie wrote a comic about his mother titled, Prisoner on the Hell Planet, and

were grown, one with LB nutrient broth and ampicillin and the other with only the LB broth, using

to find which plate would glow. It was found that the plates that were not exposed to the plasmid
did not glow, and the plates containing LB and arabinose and LB, ampicillin and arabinose did

0.09897 M NaOH solution indicated the moles of NaOH that reacted with the aspirin. The

Shakespeare s plays Macbeth and Henry IV Part One are both plays that are wrought with the notion
of destiny. The journeys that Macbeth and Hal undertake throughout these plays are contrastingly
different and each play takes on a different perspective of destiny. In Macbeth destiny is attempted
to be controlled by Macbethhimself whereas Hal has a destinythat he was born into, a destiny to be
king. Both are portrayed differently in different spheres of their society this will be explored further

Firstly, language is the first indication of differences in both of these plays. Shakespeare is very
good at writing and distinguishing different social classes using different language techniques
and manners of expression. In Henry IV this is shown through Hals learning of a gruff and more
common language through the bartender, in many ways this ability to shift between a language
that the nobility would use and one that the commoners would use aids Hal through his destiny.
He is able to befriend the bartender and these commoners hence he gains the trust of his people,
which is an integral part of his plan to win back is honour as a prince and the loyalty of his

On Monday, when I came into the classroom, I sat with Sam so I could observe what she was
doing and still be able to look across the room and observe Lou. For majority of my visit on
Monday, Sam created a picture using glue, paper, and green and gold shamrocks. On Thursday,
Sam was engaged in clean up and after clean up, Sam and Lou joined me to do the math activities
I brought. Both days seemed to be a typical day.
Preparations
For both students, I prepared for this observation by researching the Ohio standards made for pre
school children in math and social emotional development. I then printed work sheets and a math
matching game age appropriate for Sam and Lou to complete.
