In Odoo, making a field required can be done through both Python code and XML views. When you set the required attribute to True in Python code, it makes the field required across all views where it's used. Conversely, when you set the required attribute in XML views, it makes the field required only in the context of that particular view.

2. Causes Of Anisakis Infection
Besides bacteria and virus, human disease can also be caused by parasites infection. A parasite
is an organism which lives in another organism as the host and usually will cause harm to the
host. Parasite depends on and to be in the host to live, grow and multiply as shown by. Anisakis is
a helminth organism and is a genus of parasitic nematodes. There is six species within the genus.
This paper will focus on how do Anisakis infections cause disease to human with using the species
of Anisakis simplex (A. simplex) since this species is most frequently related to human disease as
shown by Adams et al. (1997).
A. simplex undergoes five larvae development stage (L1 L5) before progress to adult. The hosts of
A. simplex includes crustaceans, fish or squid and with the ultimate host of marine mammals.
Human is the accidental host if raw or uncooked fish with infected A. simplex L3 are eaten as

Out of 100 patients studied in this research, the age incidence varies between 12 to 47 years, the

This concurs with our results, the incidence of acute appendicitis were more in males than
females (68% vs 32%) with a ratio of 2.13:1. But other investigators, documented different results
in which that male: female ratio was 1: 1.66 [Mardan et al., 2007]. Ultrasonography is an
affordable, noninvasive tool whose results can be obtained more quickly than for C T scans
[Incesu et al., 1997]. Many studies proved that, ultrasound has a high sensitivity ranged from
55% to 98% and specificity ranged from 50% to 100%, PPV ranged from 80.48% to 97.4, NPV
ranged from 19.51% to 89.19% and accuracy ranged from 70.91% to 81%.. These results
emphasize that appositive ultrasonographic findings for appendicitis is strongly in favor of a
diagnosis of acute appendicitis. However a negative ultrasound findings is not sufficient to rule
out the diagnosis and discharge the patient [Singh et al., 2014; Incesu et al., 1997; Flum et al.,
2002; Nasiri et al., 2012]. But in our study, ultrasound sensitivity= 60%, specificity= 0%, PPV=
70.59%, NPV= 0% and accuracy= 30%, comparing our results with the previous results reveals that
the ultrasound provides less reliable findings for the diagnosis of acute appendicitis in our study.
These variations in reported data may be due to that, the ultrasound is an operator dependent
technique and the results vary depending on how is performing

5. Using Vlan And Vpn Network ( Virtual Local Area Network )
Introduction: The devices on one or more LANs can be configured to communicate as though they
were directed connect referred to as VLAN (Virtual Local Area Network). They are located
various geographical areas. Since VLANs are taking into account intelligent rather than physical
connections, they have a great degree flexible. VLANs characterize broadcast domains in a Layer 2
network, in which the broadcast domainis the arrangement of all devices that will get broadcast
frames which originates from any device inside of the set. Broadcast domains at time have
limitations by routers that don t forward broadcast frames. Layer 2 switches broadcast domains
regardless of the setup of the switches. Switches permit one to make numerous broadcast domains.
Every broadcast domain is similar to a particular virtual bridge inside of a switch. [1]
VLAN VPN highlight is a basic yet flexible Layer 2 and it labels private network packets with
external VLAN labels allowing the data to be transmitted both inward and external VLAN
labels. Implementation of VLAN and VPN Access: the VLAN VPN allows packet with a VLAN
tag, the device will label the packet with the default VLAN tag of the receiving port and add the
source MAC location to the MAC location table of the default VLAN. If the packet transports a
VLAN tag, the packet turns into a double labeled packet. Then the packet turns into a bundle
conveying the default VLAN tag of the port. [2]

6. Finding A Bore Tide
Introduction:
Daylight hours are dependent on sunrise and sunset times for each day which are dependent on
seasonal change. The number of daylight hours can be represented by a periodic function. This
periodic function can help Alaskan Council predict daylight hours for tourist travelling to watch
their Bore Tide. A Bore Tide is a tidal phenomenon in which the leading edge of the incoming tide
forms a wave (or waves) of water that travels up a river or narrow bay against the direction of the
river or bay s current. Anchorage, Alaska is known for its famous Bore Tides. These bore tides
occur at least once a day during high and low tide. Yet, health warnings are applied to viewing bore
tides during low tide. Tourists have died by getting ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
(Refer to Appendix 5 for the graph of the function:L=417 sinвЃЎ[2ПЂ/365 (t 81)]+744). As a
regression analysis the function itself was used to find daylight hours. The hours were then
compared to the original data points. This comparison resulted in a percentage error being
recorded. (Refer to Appendix 5 for the results of the function and percentage errors). The highest
percentage error recorded was 7.35% on February 1st 2011. This error could be because February
has 29 days in a leap year but 2011 data was used. The error could also occur because only 24 data
points were used, if more data points were used a more precise graph would have been generated
leaving less space for error.
Question 1e:
Simple deriving and calculus was used to verify that the equation L=417 sinвЃЎ[2ПЂ/365 (t
81)]+744 for when the longest and shortest day of the year occur. The derivative of the function
was started by using the chain rule(dy/dx=dy/du*du/dx). The derivative was found to be: dy
/dx=2ПЂ/365 417 cosвЃЎ(2ПЂ/365 t 162ПЂ/365). dy/dx was made to equal 0 therefore the
equation will end up looking like: 0=cosвЃЎ(2ПЂ/365 t 162ПЂ/365). When dealing with a cos
curve on a unit circle cos can only be 0 at 90 degrees (ПЂ/2) and 270 degrees (3ПЂ/2) therefore
meaning that to find the longest and shortest days (2ПЂ/365 t 162ПЂ/365) is made

Colonialism played a part in shaping and forming the Army community. The tension between
Britain and the colonies began to build because of the unjust rule of the colonies. The colonies
wanted to be independent and grow as a nation. Congress decided to declare independence from
the British and form the Continental Army. Previously, each colony had relied upon the militia,

morally wrong. It is now used by millions of doctors around the world. Cloning is at the beginning
stages of being considered morally unacceptable and will soon move to be just like in vitro

help heal the terminally ill is just one of the many possibilities that scientists are excited about.
Considering that organ donors are very rare, cloning could be a new way to help out a great
number of people. Experience gained in cloning will add to our understanding of genetics and
could lead to the creation of animal organs that have been genetically altered so that they can be
transplanted in humans. Currently, the uses of cloning look endless, it defies the imagination what
effects cloning would have in the medical field. Along with agricultural and medical use, cloning
will have a positive and dramatic effect on society. A heterosexual couple, in which the husband
was sterile, could use adult DNA cloning to produce a child. An ovum from the woman would be
coupled with a cell from the manГ•s body. The woman would provide the factory; the man would
provide the genetic information, thus both would contribute to the child. In this same way, two
lesbians could elect to have a child by adult DNA cloning rather than by artificial insemination of a
man s sperm. Each would then contribute part of her body to the fertilized ovum; one woman
would give the ovum, the other woman the DNA. Many people would believe that it is morally
wrong for two lesbians to have a baby, but in

grains. Surplus cereal production much of which was brewed into beer allowed people to store food

14. The Nature of a Mistress-Servant Relationship in Daniel...
Relationships play a large part in the average modern day person s everyday life, just as
relationships were important in the past. Although types of companionships have somewhat
changed over time, the presence and importance of them still remains. Viewing, analysing and
comparing other individual s relationships to our own is something most people do, as a sort of
assurance that things are natural. This is why many people are interested in novels about ways that
other human beings interact with individuals and groups. Daniel Defoes character Roxana has her
own way of interacting with and manipulating people. In his novelRoxana, Defoe uses examples of
extreme faithfulness from the Amy to demonstrate the intimate relationship present... Show more

At the start of the novel, Roxana gives Amy the task of abandoning her children. Amy performs
this task without asking any questions, as a loyal servant of friend should. The children are
only brought back into the novel when Roxana realizes that one of her daughters is living in her
home as a cook maid. Amy is again given the task of dealing with her mistress s children. She
dresses up and visits them, giving them money on their mother s part, while careful not to reveal
the secret about Roxana. When one of the children figures out who her mother is, Amy kills her
against Roxana s wishes. This goes to show how loyal she is: even though she disobeyed her
mistress, she treated the incident as if the daughter had wronged her, rather than Roxana. This
may just be what the murder is about Amy has been close to Roxana for so long, sharing the
secret identity, that it has almost become her own secret in many ways. Her choice of words she
ll ruin us all (272) (using us instead of you ) shows that she feels as much in trouble as her
mistress; on the other hand, her loyalty is still evident when she tells Roxana: I ll put you out of
your Pain, and her too (273). Amy is obviously thinking about preventing her mistress from
suffereing, more than she is thinking about herself. Amy again takes on the family when she
confronts Roxana s first husband. She finds out all there is to know and reports back to her
mistress, as she does in many cases.

The Ways the Theme of Pride and Prejudice is Revealed Through the Characters of Elizabeth
Bennet and Darcy
In Austen s time it was typical of people of a higher status to look down on people below them; to
be totally blinded by pride and to be prejudiced against those who have less wealth, connections and
social status than them. People of a lower status also were prejudice against those higher than
themselves. This is brilliantly portrayed in the characters of Elizabeth and Darcy.
Darcy comes from a high social class. He has pride in his family. His Aunt, Lady Catherine de
Bourgh has an overwhelming sense of her own importance, which Darcy has inherited.

I could easily forgive his pride, if he had not mortified mine.
Not only does Lizzie s inferiority, prejudices Darcy against her, but also the way her family act.
Mrs Bennet, Kitty and Lydia are constantly chasing and flirting with the officers and Mrs Bennet
encourages them. Their kind of behaviour is not what young girls, in the 19th Century should be
like and Darcy and the Bingley sisters frown upon it.
In chapter 18, even Mr Bingley manages to embarrass Elizabeth when Mary tried to sing but Mr
Bennet told her quite abruptly to stop, You have delighted us enough. Let the other young ladies
have time to exhibit. In chapter 18 everything the Bennet s do further alienate Darcy at the ball.
This is because the Bennet s behaviour shows Elizabeth in a bad light, making Darcy even more
prejudice against her.
Mrs Bennet s behaviour in this chapter furthers Darcy s prejudice against Lizzie and her family.
She arranged for the coach to be late and as Bingley and Darcy were and wanting to go to bed, they
had to stay up until the Bennet s had left. The Bingley sisters repulsed every attempt of Mrs Bennet
at conversation. They were evidently impatient to have the house to themselves.
This is another case where the Bennet s behaviour reflects badly on Elizabeth, where Darcy is
becoming more prejudiced against her.

16. Illusion vs. Reality A Streetcar Named Desire Essay
Illusion vs. Reality A Streetcar Named Desire Tennessee Williams uses the constant battle
between illusion and reality as a theme throughout his play A Streetcar Named Desire. Many use
illusion to escape the reality they are living in. This theme is present in all of his characters in
different ways. Each character is shown to live their life in either the way of illusion or reality.
Harold Mitchell, also known as Mitch buys into Blanches illusions. He is overtaken by her
charm, but in the end finally faces reality. Stella who is Blanches sister is always wishing for
everything to be perfect with her and Stanley even though he abuses her. She overlooks Stanley s

In all of these instances illusion plays a key role in a way for the characters to do away with the
lives they do not want to be living. Although, not all characters are living in illusion Tennessee
Williams does include some who face reality. Stanley Kowalski, Stella s husband, is strictly a
reality based character. He is constantly looking into Blanches real past. He sees through all of
her illusions and wants the truth to things. This is proved in the rape scene when Stanley turns
Blanche into the victim as she had made herself out to be throughout the play. Eunice the
character who lives in the upstairs of the house with the Kowalski s. She knows how untrue
Stanley is to Stella and is always telling her to face reality and not put up with how she is treated
like garbage from him. Towards the end of the play Mitch finally overlooks Blanches illusions
and begins to question her by telling her how he has never seen her in the light and asks her age.
Mitch s sick mother helps to keep him focused in the real things in his life by having him put
aside all other things to take care of the one who cared for him. Escaping your reality and living
in an illusion world will leave you blind to the things around you. In some cases, if you are strong
enough to withhold from the illusions around you, you may end up in the reality, like Mitch. Both

Graphing and Estimating
Formal Lab Report
Introduction: Today scientists put acquired data into a form of a graph. This said graph is designed
to help make predictions and furthermore, study and understand the experiment and its contents at
hand. The Graphing and Estimating lab involves just that. The lab is designed to collect data from
several tests involving burn time of a candle.
Oxygen, O2, is a kind of gas. A lot of the air we breathe as human beings is oxygen. Which is good
since we need oxygen to stay alive. Oxygen is also a primary element in fire. Fire is a chemical
process. Three elements are needed for this process: oxygen, heat and fuel. Without one of those...

If the difference between the recorded times are more than 10%, add a third trial. Repeat these
steps with each size beaker. Calculate the average time for each beaker and record the data. The
next step of the lab exercise is determining the exact volume of the beakers used in the burn time
experiment. Fill a beaker to the top with water. Carefully pour the water from the beaker into a
graduated cylinder. Reading the meniscus, record the exact volume into a data sheet. Repeat this
step with each size beaker until all volumes are recorded into the data sheet. The final process of
the Graphing and Estimating lab is plotting the recorded data onto a graph. Using the data recorded
for burn time, in seconds, place the data on the vertical axis. Use the horizontal axis for the volume
in milliliters. With the data points plotted determine whether a straight line or a simple curve will
best represent the data. Now, obtain a jar and determine the volume. Fill the jar to the top with
water. Carefully pour the water into a graduated cylinder. Precisely record the data. Using the
plotted data on the graph and the simple curve or straight line to predict how long it would take for
the flame to burn out on the candle if it was covered with the jar that was just measured.

I am going to focus on the narratives of Frederick Douglass and Linda Brent as examples of a
refusal of racial ideologies and Harriet Beecher Stowe s Uncle Tom s Cabin as an example of
replicating (although attempting to refute) racial ideologies of the day. Douglass s Narrative and

. . as the author s attempts to enter . . . into Society: by (re )writing him or herself, and thus placing

This can be seen in Douglass s constant quest for knowledge. In the beginning, he focuses on his
total ignorance so that throughout the narrative, it is easy for the reader to understand the progress
he has been making. The best example of the mind requiring liberation before the body is Douglass
s fight with Covey.
This man mentally abuses his slaves by making them fear his constant watch. The fear is a direct
result of the threat of punishment if they do not adhere to his strict rules: they will be beat. In
beating his slaves, Covey turns them into just another body; he never sees their mind. Douglass
wants to be move than just another body. He needs to free his mind in order to free his body. In
order to gain his freedom, Douglass must use his body and physically fight Covey. Through this
fight, he frees his mind of the fear of ever being whipped again. Douglass claims that he was never
again what might be called fairly whipped, though I remained a slave four years afterwards (43).
Through this episode, Douglass proves that first the mind must be liberated, and the body will
eventually (maybe not immediately) follow.

21. Crime, Moral Panics and the Media Essay
Most people use second hand information as their core source of information about crime, this
source of information usually being the media. When carrying out sample research in
Birmingham, Susan Smith (1984) discovered that 52% of people obtained most of their
information about crime from the media, 36% obtained it from hearsay or alleged experiences of
friends and neighbours, 3% from their own experiences, and 1% from the police service
themselves (cited in Jones, 2001; 8). However the media tend to exaggerate upon areas of criminal

As mentioned earlier Stanley Cohen (1972) is one of prominent sociologists that devised the term
moral panic . He defined the concept as
A sporadic episode which, as it occurs, subject s society to bouts of moral panic, or in other terms,
worries about the values and principles which society upholds which may be in jeopardy (Cohen,
1987; 9).
The term moral panic was introduced by Stanley Cohen (1972) in his book entitled Folk Devils
and Moral Panics . This was as a result of the studies he carried out on the UK s media and social
reaction to the Mods and the Rockers in the 1960 s. The research was based upon a group of
working class youths; there were two groups of people who fought on the Clacton beach leaving
many beach huts vandalised. Therefore this became front page news within the media, the press
claiming that Clacton had been terrorised by rampaging groups of Mods and Rockers (Jones,
2001; 84). The media captured the interest of the public by using eye catching head lines and
phrases, some of the phrases incorporated in the test include riot , siege , and screaming mob (The
Guardian). They use such words in a moral panic to try and catch the attention of the public s eye.

22. Symptoms of Cardiomyopathy
Subject Cardio Myopothy Introduction: describe nature of Disorder Cardiomyopathy (i.e. heart
muscle disease ) is the failure of the heart muscle myocardium for whatever reason and there are
many different reasons. Cardiomyopathy may be dangerous since victims of this disease are at
risk of certain cardiac rupture as well as irregular heartbeat. In fact, Cardiomyopathy is one of, if
not the most, dangerous disease that is connected to the heart. (Adelmann 2010). Common
symptoms of Cardiomyopathy are dyspnea (breathlessness) and peripheral edema (swelling of
the legs). It starts with the muscle becoming hard, thick, and engorged sometimes becoming
replaced with scar tissue. As the muscle rigidifies, the heart weakens, is less bale to pump
oxygen through the body, and starts to falter. Heart beat becomes irregular (called arrhythmias)
and fluid can build up in lungs, ankles, feet, legs, or abdomen. Cardiomyopathy can result in other
problems such as heart valve complications. There are two forms of Cardiomyopathy: Extrinsic
Most forms of Cardiomyopathy are extrinsic. This is where the pathology is located outside the
myocardium. This form of Cardiomyopathy is also called by the World Health Organization
specific cardiomyopathies and is caused by poor supply of oxygen to heart (also called Ischemia)
Intrinsic This is weakness in the muscle of the heart not attributable to any extrinsic cause. Actually,

limitations from outside factors, such as available human capital resources making him somewhat

analysis through further industry research (Palmer, Dunford, Akin, 2009). Hospitality industry

Often considered to be one of the most iconic pieces of American art, Nighthawks, a 84.1 x
152.4 cm oil on canvas, is a piece shrouded in feelings of solitude and separation. It was painted
by Edward Hopper in 1942, and was purchased by the Art Institute of Chicago almost immediately
afterwards. What made the painting so appealing to both the Art Institute and the general public
was for how deeply it connected with the culture at the time. Their feelings of tension and wartime
anxiety are ingrained into every part, from Hopper s relentless work ethic to the title of the canvas
itself. Nighthawks is a depiction of four people sitting in a diner called Phillies. The bright

Why? To begin with, there is the matter of the title. According to Merriam Webster, a nighthawk is
someone who often awake late at night (Nighthawk); thus, the patrons at the diner are the
nighthawks. That in itself is not too strange, but the word choice is rather significant. As art
historian Gail Levin points out, the more innocuous night owls would have suggested a less
ominous mood (Levin, Edward Hopper: An Intimate Biography, 350). The two terms are
synonymous, so to decide on hawk over an owl is noteworthy. After all, a hawk is an aggressive
predator, so to use it in the title automatically creates a serious and sinister feeling that Nightowls
would not have. And what of the subject of the painting itself? Hopper once said that he had been
inspired to model the diner after an actual restaurant on Greenwich Avenue that he knew. When
pressed about the deeper meaning behind the work, he admitted that unconsciously, probably, I was
painting the loneliness of a large city (Levin, Edward Hopper: An Intimate Biography, 349). The
piece certainly emanates the sensation of being alone in a city, though there is much more going

As time passed, people began to diverge away from the outrageous beliefs from the Puritan era but
sexism was still present. The popular belief during the late twentieth and early twenty first centuries
was that the role of a true woman was to properly serve her husband and children. Take, for
example, Edna Pontellier from Kate Chopin s well known novel The Awakening. Edna
Pontellier was heavily scrutinized by those around her for not serving her husband and children
as if they were gods. Don t be mistaken, Mrs. Pontellier cared for them, but she also aspired to
fulfill her own desires. Mrs. Pontellier specifically said, I would give up the unessential; I would
give my money, I would give my life for my children, but I wouldn t give myself (Chopin 64).
The aspiration by Mrs. Pontellier was perceived as selfishness by those around her. It is stated
directly that, In short, Mrs. Pontellier was not a mother woman. The mother women seemed to
prevail that summer at Grand Isle... They were women who idolized their children, worshipped
their husbands, and esteemed it a holy privilege to efface themselves as individuals and grow wings

Therefore, dedicated circuits require more care in network design than switched circuits both in
terms of locations and the amount of capacity you purchase. With packet switched services, the

case, a time division multiplexer (TDM) provides 24 64 Kbps circuits. Digitized voice using
pulse code modulation (PCM) requires a 64 Kbps circuit so T1 circuit enables 24 simultaneous
voice channels. T2 circuit transmits data at a rate of 6.312 Mbps. Basically; it is a multiplexed
bundle of four T1 circuits. T3 circuits allow transmission at a rate of 44.376 Mbps, although
most articles refer to this rate as 45 megabits per second. This is equal to the capacity of 28 T1
circuits. T3 circuits are becoming popular as the transmission medium for corporate MANs and
WANs because of their higher data rates. At low speed, these T3 circuits can be used as 672
different 64 Kbps channels or voice channels. A T4 circuit transmits at

32. Three Ways People Respond To Crisis
How do people respond to crisis? There are many different ways people respond to crisis. We
will examine three ways people respond to crisis: people hide from it, people ignore it, and
people take action and stay calm. We will examine these three things with the help of the
following passages: The Masque of the Red Death by Edgar Allan Poe; Scurvy at Sea from
making History with Vitamin C by Penny Le Couteur and Jay Burreson. And finally Heroics
Behind the Miracle on the Hudson written by Liana Stanley from The New American . So, once
again we will see three ways people respond to crisis: people hide from it, they ignore it, and some
people take action and stay calm. People hide from crisis. What is exactly hiding from crisis, and...

Let s look at an example of this. In the magazine article from The New American titled Heroics
Behind the Miracle on the Hudson by Liana Stanley said The Captain remained calm and in
control after the landing. As the occupants were escaping the sinking plane onto the wings and
life rafts, Sullenberger retrieved the planes manifest, to be used to account for all the
passengers. As we can see Captain Sullenberger took action, as the plane went down thanks to
geese clogging the engines, he landed the plane on the Hudson River. Then he got everyone out
of the plane before himself. He then grabbed the manifest which had all of the passenger s
names and inspected the whole plane twice, to make sure no one was inside. Once they got off
the wings of the plane and onto a boat he called role of all of the passengers. Captain
Sullenberger was the last off of the plane, and he is a true hero. He managed everything
responsively and calm. Finally, everyone reacts to crisis differently. Some people act scared and
hide like price Prospero and his guests in the blue room. Others ignore it like some sailors. And
very few act brave and calm like Captain Sullenberger did when he landed a plane on the Hudson
River. Everyone can react differently in

33. Causes Of Juvenile Delinquency
A juvenile delinquent is a juvenile who has broken the law. A juvenile refers to a person who is
under 18 years old, at times the line is set at 21 years old for alcohol and tobacco. Juvenile
delinquency is an important field in sociology because it focuses on the crimes juveniles have
committed and why they did them. It looks at how the criminal justice system treats juveniles and
helps to separate them from adults. It describes the leading causes of how juveniles become
delinquents due to the family, environment, media, and peers.
Juvenile delinquency has always existed as children become teenagers it becomes a crucial period
due to their body and minds developing. Each generation went through the adolescence period with
different cohort events shaping their life s. For example, Fuller explains how the Greatest
Generation grew up during the great depression and World War II lived a different life than the
Baby Boom generation who experienced the civil rights movement, war in Vietnam, and the
assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. (2016). The one thing these adolescents shared with each
other generation to generation is as their minds develop many were described as rebellious. Due to
the increase in juvenile delinquency there became a strong need for a criminal justice system
unique to adolescents.
Before there was a juvenile justice system adolescents were treated and tried as adults later the
punishments became more lenient and the parents did most of the punishing

35. Essay about The Road to the American Civil War
The majority of speculations regarding the causes of the American Civil War are in some relation
to slavery. While slavery was a factor in the disagreements that led to the Civil War, it was not the
solitary or primary cause. There were three other, larger causes that contributed more directly to the
beginning of the secession of the southern states and, eventually, the start of the war. Those three
causes included economic and social divergence amongst the North and South, state versus national
rights, and the Supreme Court s ruling in the Dred Scott case. Each of these causes involved
slavery in some way, but were not exclusively based upon slavery. The North and South were
forming completely different economies, and therefore... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The South had some urbanization, in cities such as Atlanta, Georgia and Columbia, South Carolina.
These cities served as transportation hubs, mainly for the transporting of goods, specifically cotton.
The South would transport cotton to the northern industries to produce finished goods from the
cotton. The transportation hubs and railroad systems existed more often in the North than in the
South, because there were more large cities. Due to the North and South existing with completely
diverse demographics, geographies, and economies they were unable to understand the needs of
one another in reference to the continuation of their thriving economies. With the North becoming
more urbanized and based on industry, its power was also growing. The bulk of politics,
transportation, and industry all existed in the North. The South began forming an opinion that new
political decisions were being made in the North s favor, and threatening the expansion of slavery,
which threatened the expansion of their economic growth. This began with the formation of
Henry Clay s Missouri Compromise of 1820, which let Missouri come into the Union as a slave
state, and Maine would come in as a free state. This established a clear separation, at the southern
border of Missouri, between the slave and free states,

virus. According to the Hussain, Mannan, and Ali (2012), sternal and mediastinal infection is a
serious complication of cardiac surgical procedures ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For example, it was one author s experience, when working in a cardiac surgery center in Duhok,
Iraq, that five adult patients who were suffering from sternal wound infections died after open heart
surgery. This is significant because they all died within 1 month. The investigation into the cause
showed that the surgery instruments were not sterilized using the adequate and ideal method.
Therefore, staff nurses in cardiac surgery departments need nursing knowledge so that they can
provide safe care that reduces or eliminates post operative infections. For example, they need
instructions about sterilizing equipment, giving medications, and evaluating patients before, during,
and after heart surgery. Nurse educators are prepared to provide teaching strategies to staff nurses to
assure quality care. The purpose of this proposed quasi experimental study is to investigate whether
education for operating room staff nurses will result in fewer wound infections in adult patients
after open heart surgery. Educational content will include sterilization program, medication
program, and nursing care program.

41. Meatpacking System
The food system in the U.S. has changed a lot over these decades. In the past, people grew crops
in their land and vegetables in their gardens. Today, the food system is dominated by the industrial
farms and food companies. The industrial food system prevents us from knowing the food. We do
not know where the foodcomes from, how it is produced, and what the conditions that animals live
in are. Animals, such as cattle and chickens, are raised in concentrated feedlots where the
conditions are terrible and the space is narrow. When it comes to the meatpacking, we do not know
how the animals are slaughtered, gutted, and skinned. The operations are invisible and conducted
behind walls. The industrial food system aims to produce more food faster and more cheaply.
However, it hides lots of truths, such as its effect on consumers health, the environment, and the
society. If there were more transparency in the food system, the inhumane practice of meatpacking
would be reduced; the living conditions of animals would be improved; fewer fertilizers and
pesticides would be used in agriculture; consumers would have the chance to see how the food is
produced and make a wiser choice of what to eat; and the current industrial food system might be
replaced.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Renaissance Time Capsule
As part of my introduction to humanities class, I was required to probe for a concealed time
capsule from both the Renaissance and the Baroque ages. Thereafter, I was required to identify at
least two examples of art, music, architecture, philosophy, and literature depicted during the
periods. By doing so, I expected to identify how these examples reflected world events and cultural
blueprints of their periods. The Renaissance refers to the cultural transformations witnessed in
Europe between the fourteen century and the sixteen century (Cheremeteff, 2000). The
transformations originated in Italy before spreading to the other ... Show more content on

Another piece of art I would expect to unravel in the Renaissance time capsule is The Creation of
Man. Michelangelo created the art. The painting was done during the early 16th century
(Cheremeteff, 2000). The painting depicts the creation of man by God as portrayed in the book of
Genesis. The two pieces of art reflect about the world events and cultural patterns of their time. As
such, they had a significant impact on the Christians of the time. To date, the two arts are
considered the most imitated religious paintings of all time.
With respect to the age of Baroque, I expect to unravel The Inspiration of Saint Mathew and Christ
in the House of Mary and Martha. Caravaggio produced The Inspiration of Saint Matthew in the
early 17th century (Cheremeteff, 2000). Diego VelГЎzquez produced the second art during the year
1618. The two arts reflect a lot about the religious and cultural settings of the age of Baroque. For
instance, VelГЎzquez s art reflects the classic Baroque Christian fusion of Martha and Mary
Magdalene.
Music
Music refers to human activity characterized by prearranged and perceptible sounds. Although,
humans had practiced music for thousands of years it should be noted that during the two ages it
took a different direction (Friedell, 2008). In my quest to find classical music from the two time
capsules, I would expect to unravel musical sheets

RFID which is one of the human microchip technologies was first used during the World War II.
The technology played an important role of identifying friends or foes in the battle field.
According to Yechuri (2004), the Friend or Foe (IFF) system was made in order to ensure that
related fighters and anti aircraft organizations could differentiate their own returning bombers
from aircraft sent by the enemy. After the World War II was over, an engineer by the name
Henry Stockman explored the issue where he published a paper entitled Communication by
Means of Reflected Power. In this paper, he explored the issue of passive RFID chips and
discussed how they were used by military personnel in the war for identification purposes. In the
early 1960s, this technology gained recognition and RFID was used to find and access hazardous
components and nuclear power (Pollar Elsen, 2013). In 1968, the issue of human microchip took a
turn after Doctor Stuart MacKay discussed that radio transmitters could be swallowed, carried
externally or surgically implanted. This in fact formed the basis through which current human
microchip are implanted in human beings. Criminals Can Be Brainwashed is an article that was

To begin, the Industrial Revolution ushered the world into an unprecendented era of innovation
and production. In order to keep up the factories and continue to manufacture goods faster than
ever before, children were forced to enter the workplace at extremely young ages. As a
consequence, these children often had to quit their schooling in order to earn money for their
families. We have few objective facts on what happened to the children forced to work in factories,
and so we must compile what information we have on the topic and find the differences and
similarities in each in order to piece together the truth. Thus, by comparing and contrasting the letter

Both pictures involve subjects who are directly looking into the camera, contrasting the
information given in the letter. When a viewer looks at such an image, they have no way of not
looking at the subject directly in the eye. As a result, this makes the viewer have a deep,
emotional response when they look at the two pictures as the children in those two sources
seem more real and lifelife. The viewer is morel likely to relate to the visual sources as they are
more realistic and visual evidence is harder to dispute than written evidence. The same is not true
for the first source, or the letter written by Mary S. Paul. In it, Paul states, Tell Harriet that though
she does not hear from me she is not forgotten, referring to another, Harriet, that the reader does

To conduct a study experiment on contemporary political issues that affect society, it is important
that experiments are well controlled from the constraints of the extraneous variable. That is other
variables beyond the independent and dependent variable that may change the outcome of the
experiment due to exclusion from the research design. For example, the topic capital punishment
and its relationship with age are designed to discover whether age correlates with electing harsh
punishments for crimes. The preliminary hypothesis that aged people are more likely to support
capital punishment than the younger generation is crucial to defining the relationship between
variables. That is, the independent variable age affects the dependent... Show more content on

Therefore, testing is available and current due to the other social issues regarding criminal
punishment like mass incarceration (Gottschalk, 2009). Although the hypothesis meets the criteria
of observation and predictably to aid in the future development of policy, it is crucial that the study
is designed correctly to determine confounding variables that affect the independent and dependent
variables. It is essential to incorporate any variables that may affect the outcome (validity) of the
research assignment. For example, Rynkiewicz, Benmakrelouf, Karouche (2016) utilize the
Bayesian network modeling to extract possible confounding variables. Developed from the Bayes
Theorem belief is governed by the laws of probability (Bayesian Modeling, n.d., n.p.). In other
words, utilization of the Bayesian modeling includes the variables that are outside the experiment
of the independent and dependent variable. In the case of Rynkiewicz, Benmakrelouf Karouche
(2016) their study to prove that people with higher education are less prejudiced towards ethnic out
groups than those with less education (p. 205) include the extraneous variables of level of
education, parent s origin, age and residential area. That is the modeling covers the voting
preferences in the independent variable. Whereas, the opinion of immigration, globalization and
death sentence are included to represent other variables for the dependent variable. Similarly,
