LAND USE LAND COVER AND NDVI OF MIRZAPUR DISTRICT, UPRAHUL
This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is
crucial for coordinated efforts across different administrative levels. Advanced technologies like

2. Impact Of Arch On Roman Architecture
The development of concrete and the arch was integral to the advancement of Roman architecture.
Both had a great impact on the people of Rome from all walks of life.
When designing a building, the load that must be supported is a very important consideration.
Various building materials will each have their own levels of strength and ability to support loads.
In addition to this, the way in which the building material is utilized may also play a role in the
ability of the building to support large loads. The implementation of concrete as a building material
led to much stronger walls and supports in Roman buildings. Additionally, the development of the
arch was revolutionary in its ability to support loads. The types and sizes of structures that the
Romans could build became unlike anything seen before, and they also became very interested in
working with interior spaces, as well (Ambler, n.d.). ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The arch continues to feature prominently in...designs and with good reason: Its semicircular
structure elegantly distributes compression through its entire form and diverts weight onto its two
abutments (Lamb, 2000). The key to the structure is located in the center of the arch and is called a
keystone. Remove it and the entire structure collapses. The entire structure is dependent upon the
architect not designing an opening that is too wide. That would also lead to increased pressure and
decreased structural integrity (Lamb, 2000).
As you can imagine, the arch opened the door to a great many changes in structural design. The
Romans utilized it in their homes and in their public buildings. It found its way into bridge design,
as well. Yet, the arch alone does not explain the amazing advancements made in Roman
architecture. Concrete also play a huge part in shaping Roman construction. As such, it is also
important to understand exactly what concrete

no war, no fear, or pain. The community could not make choices and the members of the
community did not have any feelings. As the plot progresses, the chief elder provided the children

including wearing handicaps which deprive people of showing their strengths. These include;
having to wear bags of birdshot for the strong and the beautiful being forced to wear masks to hide

7. Analysis Of The Movie Julien Donkey Boy
In his sophomore film, Julien Donkey Boy (1999), director Harmony Korine tunes in to the
psychotic perspective of Julien (Ewan Bremner) a suburban schizophrenic with raisin black eyes
and detachable dentistry and his almost equally grotesque family, in a disorderly smear of violence,
incest, and finally, tragedy. The films fragmented narrativestructure, with its grainy and hand held
visual style, shudders on to the screen in a fusillade of discursive vignettes, that reflect, not only
the digital dexterity of its director, but the haunting psychosis of its titular protagonist. It is the
inarticulate jumble of Julien s psychology which is the organizing principle of the film. And, it is
precisely how we as viewers identify with this character and become complicit in his pathological
perspective which this essay will continue to explore.
In conventional Hollywood cinema, narrative is subservient to the viewer s overall pleasure and
ease of understanding, as it provides an overarching framework which may elucidate the
motivations and consequences of a character s actions. However, Korine expresses his dismay
with classical narrative, I can t stand plots, because I don t feel life has plots. There is no
beginning, middle, or end, and it upsets me when things are tied up so perfectly (Geoff King, 59).
As one may expect, JDB s narrative structure challenges our expectations, dissolving any sense of
linear continuity in favour of a cinema of unpredictability (Adrian

8. The Lost Ark
The Ark of the Covenant Has anyone actually come close to finding the lost Ark of the
Covenant? To solve that, archaeologists have been looking for two thousand years and have been
able to find out a few unique qualities about the Ark. The Ark of the Covenant is a wooden box
covered in gold that contained the Ten Commandment tablets (Wickersham). Four strong men had
to carry the Ark around due to the rule that it was never allowed to touch the ground (Parfitt 14).
At each stop, the Hebrews had to build a tabernacle for the Ark because it was so majestic. Also,
only the holy of holies could go inside the tabernacle to be in the presence of the Ark
(Wickersham). To answer the two thousand and five hundred year old mystery, archaeologists have

the legend of the ngoma. Legend says the ngoma was carried by four poles and attained from
Jerusalem (Parfitt 13). As stated before, four poles, just like the Ark of the Covenant, carried the
ngoma. There may be a connection between the Ark and ngoma based on similarities from the
legends and facts. In addition to that, when Parfitt arrives at a museum in Zimbabwe he
investigated underground storage and found the ngoma (Parfitt 359). To Parfitt s surprise, the
ngoma was not coated in gold, but in fractured remnants. All the remnants matched the original
picture exactly. However, the only parts of the ngoma in its original state were the rings where
the poles the men carried would ve been placed (Parfitt 360). This proves that the ngoma was
found in Zimbabwe, Africa. Yet the best piece of evidence is, The Ark was here. In the dust of
its hiding place, said Tudor Parfitt (365). Just like the Ark, the ngoma was not permitted to touch
the ground, it was a place of God, the ngoma was carried on poles, and it was the same size
(Parfitt 361). The ngoma was the Ark and the Ark was the ngoma. It had been hidden so long in
underground storage, that no one knew it was the ancient Ark of the Covenant. Due to all of the
reasons, the mystery of the Ark of the Covenant was decoded and is proven

Corporate cultures are made up of many individuals, developing in different behaviors over time.
Several factors impact the way a business cultivates. From the character traits of its leadership in its
trade activities and industry environment. Corporate culture can develop from teams representing
divisions and departments within the business that can be made up of differentiated functions or
units that must be integrated into a unified effort if the organization is to be effective (Brown,
2011, p.127). In functioning, the departments pursue their goals from individuals coming together
for a common cause. For example, in the case of the Old Family Bank, which is departmentalizing
with a check processing, computer service, and an operation s department. The vice president of
managementresponsible for gathering data is selected to find out how the organizational behavioral
aspect of the business is functioning. Therefore, H. Day VP of management has decided to

there is death. The first when the dog dies, and then when Jeffries is hanging from the window
about to fall to his death. The only truly happy couple, made obvious by Hitchcock during the
film, is the couple that death comes to, in the case of their dog. Everyone else in the film seems
miserable and isolated only brought together by death. The wife of the couple says it when she
makes a comment announcing how miserable of neighbors they are. Hitchcock uses misery,
tragedy, and death to show the emotions of his characters. At no point is this more obvious than the
end of the movie. Hitchcock spends the entire movie building up to this point and in the end he
makes it extremely clear how tragedy has changed the relationship of everyone. After the nagging

13. How Does Atticus Show Wisdom In To Kill A Mockingbird
Wisdom is the quality of having experience, knowledge, and good judgement; the quality of
being wise. In the book To Kill a Mockingbird, there is one character who shows a tremendous
amount of wisdom. Atticus shows his wisdom throughout the story by teaching Scout how to be
young wise girl and teaching her how to read and write. Shows Jem how to be wise and
knowledgeable , and shows it in the defending of Tom Robinson. As Atticus once advised me to
do, I tried to climb into Jem s skin and walk around in it . Said Scout (Lee, 57). That s good
advice to give to a young girl that s just getting to know what life is about. It says that Scout
would never consider going over to the Radley house because she would be too scared, so she
has no understanding of what Jem feels like. If you ll concede the necessity of going to school,
we ll go on reading every night just as we always have. Said Atticus to Scout (Lee, 31). Atticus
wants Scout to keep going to school, so she can get the education that he never got. Atticus didn t

14. Childcare Is An Attractive Business Opportunity
Background
Childcare in Australia reflects a market system, providing an attractive business opportunity, as the
Commonwealth guarantees up to 50% of the organisations income. However, markets and
childcare are a poor combination, with the price of quality services increasing, leaving individuals
of low socio economic status (SES) with poorer quality education (Phillips, 2009).
Currently, childcare in Australia encourages inflation and does not incentivise women to work
(FactCheck, 2015). The Commonwealth provides 3 primary payments, The Childcare Benefit
(CCB), The Childcare Rebate (CCR) and the Jobs, Education and Training Childcare Fee Assistance
(JETCCFA). Further details are in Appendix A.
The Coalition s Proposition
The Coalition ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This essentially doubled the price the consumer was willing to pay. In a supply and demand
market, this allowed the supplier to charge more, leading to hyperinflated prices.
The benchmark price means that the Commonwealth will pay 50% of the cost of the childcare, up
to a certain amount. For example, with a benchmark of $10/hour, parents would receive no more
compensation for $30/hour childcare than for $20/hour care.
Changes for low income earners (LIEs)
Those earning under $65,000/year may receive up to 12 hours of childcare/week with no activity
test, reduced from 24. The Childcare subsidy for these LIEs will be 85% of the fee, or the
benchmark price whichever is lower.
Changes for middle income earners (MIEs)
For MIEs, the childcare subsidy will be either 50% of the fees charged, or the benchmark price
whichever is lower.
There will be no cap on the amount of subsidies MIEs and LIEs can receive.
Changes for high income earners (HIEs)
HIE s cap will increase to $10,000 per child, from $7,500 received through the CCR. Their
childcare subsidy will be either 50% of fees, or the benchmark price whichever is lower.
Introduction of Nannies
The Government proposed an In Home Care program, permitting Nannies to deliver services to
those whose needs do not suit traditional childcare centres, such shift workers and those in remote
areas.

$7 Billion was spent on childcare between 2014 2015. The proposed

15. Essay on Characterization in Rappaccini’s Daughter
Characterization in Rappaccini s Daughter
The dialogue, action and motivation revolve about the characters in the story (Abrams 32 33). It is
the purpose of this essay to demonstrate the types of characters present in Nathaniel Hawthorne s
Rappaccini s Daughter, whether static or dynamic, whether flat or round, and whether portrayed
through showing or telling.
The tale takes place in Padua, Italy, where a Naples student named Giovanni Guascanti has
relocated in order to attend the medical school there. His modest room is in an old mansion watched
over by the landlady, Dame Lisabetta, a two dimensional character given to religious expletives

The reader sees another character enter the tale with the doctor s shout in the infirm voice of a
person affected with inward disease, ` Beatrice! Beatrice! From his window Giovanni sees
approaching the doctor s daughter beautiful as the day, and with a bloom so deep and vivid that
one shade more would have been too much. Her abilities are exceptional because it is apparent to
Giovanni that she handled and inhaled the odor of several of the plants which her father had most
sedulously avoided. Beatrice exhibits an especially close relationship to the purple gem plant,
which Rappaccini is too fearful of tending anymore: ``Yes, my sister, my splendour, it
shall be Beatrice s task to nurse and serve thee; and thou shalt reward her with thy kisses and
perfumed breath, which to her is as the breath of life. Beatrice is slowly developed into a round
character, not as round as Giovanni however.
As the protagonist withdraws from the window of his room in order to lie down, the author shows
his usage of an omniscient narrator in the development of this character: Giovanni, closing the
lattice, went to his couch and dreamed of

18. The Security Of Information Security
This document is only a brief synopsis of the ever expanding and demanding field of information
security. It contains explanations, screenshots or visual cues, and tips on multiple subjects such as
system defenses, reducing vulnerabilities, and the presence of malicious threats. Smaller areas, such
as vulnerability assessment and penetration testing, are also covered because they are very
significant in the securityof information. While vulnerability assessment is a necessity, penetration
testing is purely an option to the security engineer.
What is Information Security ?
Information security is often defined as the security or assurance of information and it requires the
ability to maintain the authenticity of the information. The three common components of
information security are confidentiality, integrity, and availability and they form an essential base
for the overall picture of information security. Confidentiality is perhaps one of the most common
aspects of information security because any information that is withheld from the public within the
intentions to only allow access to authorized individuals is confidential. Encryption is often used to
maintain the confidentiality of information as encryption is one of multiple methods of access
control and Microsoft BitLocker is an example of access control encryption feature. Although

Like the nose it also filters dust and other particles from reaching the lungs, and it has mucous
membranes to warm and moisten the air. When the air leaves the pharynx it moves on to the
larynx. The larynx is also called the voice box. It not only remains open for speech, but also during
respiration. The larynx merges with the trachea just below the vocal cords. The trachea is also
called the wind pipe, and it is a one inch tube that connects to the bronchi. The bronchi divide into
the right and left mainstream bronchi. After entering a lung each side branches off forming many
smaller passages. In the center of the bronchi is the lumen. It is the central opening where the air
passes through.
The lungs are sponges that fill with air, and fill every inch the surrounding thoracic cavity. The
lungs contain lobes. The lobes divide each lung, and the right lung being bigger has more lobe
divisions. The pulmonary veins enter here and exit here as well. Inside the lungs are clusters of
air sacks that are called alveoli. The alveoli are part of the bronchioles that enter each lung. The
oxygen and carbon dioxide are exchanged in the lungs. The exchange happens from a small blood
vassal nod the alveoli. When the oxygen exchange is completed the inhaled air moves into the
blood. While the oxygen moves into the blood the carbon dioxide is exhaled by the lungs. Before
the blood can be moved properly it has to be made into oxyhemoglobin.

32. Summary Of The Repentant Magdalen
When approaching The Repentant Magdalen by Georges de La Tour, who is best known for his
unique use of light, the atmosphere makes an immediate impression of subdued vulnerability an
unusual description for a piece of artwork from an era of theatrical expression and palpable,
dramatic tension. As a French Baroque oil painting, The Repentant Magdalen stands out as a result
of comparison to its peers, but when viewed alone as an individual piece, it instead stands out for its
ability to form a personal relationship between the audience and the subjects of the piece. The
Repentant Magdalen s tenebristic light, intimate setting, and illusionistic style all reinforce Georges
La Tour s overall theme in creating an intimate setting to remind his audience of the forgiving
nature of Catholicism, as a response to the unrest within the Catholic church. Measuring at 44 ВЅ x
36 ВЅ , The Repentant Magdalen is large enough that audiences feel immersed into its intense
atmosphere. The size is proportioned in a way that audiences are able to feel Mary Magdalen s
pseudo physical presence there is the illusion that if one were to shift slightly, they may catch a
glimpse of movement in the mirror on the table. The setting a dimly lit desk with a skull on a
book in the foreground, with Mary, the mirror, and the light in the background is a depiction that
would have seemed very casual, considering the subject is a biblical figure, and would have
allowed the audience to relate to Mary on a more

33. The Effect Of Visitor Interaction On Primate Species In Zoos
In the wild, interactions between humans and animals are often limited. In captivity, this dynamic
is altered as a result of humans being allowed to be in close proximity to the animals while they
are on display. Zoos, especially in Europe and North America, strive to educate the public about
their animals and the conservation efforts to help save them in the wild (Hosey, 2005). In order to
ensure that visitors leave the zoofeeling as if they can make a difference, visitors need to feel a
connection with the animals. A way in which this is done is to design exhibits that put the public
closer to the animals. By doing so, it is common that animals in captivity can be subject to
interaction with the guests, creating a potential for visitor... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Different populations have been seen reacting negatively, while others have reacted positively
or neutrally. In Wells (2005) it was suggested that crowd size had a negative impact on the
gorillas at the Belfast Zoological Gardens in Northern Ireland. The gorillas had increased
aggression during large crowd sizes and appeared less stressful during low visitor periods.
However, some populations of gorillas did not show an increase in undesirable behavior in
relation to larger crowd size. In Kuhar (2008) there were no significant findings that suggested
crowd size played any role in the behavior of the gorillas. In a study conducted by Ross and Lukas
(2006) it was found that during crowds of high density or low density alike, there were no
significant differences in gorilla behavior. Interestingly, in Wells (2006) the researchers suggest
that some auditory stimulation, such as that from visitors, can be a form of enrichment for the
gorillas rather than a source of stress. Similarly, in Stoinski et al., (2012) there were no
significant effects of crowd size for some of the behaviors they analyzed. Other behaviors they
observed did change in relation to crowd size such as contact aggression and undesirable behavior
but those behaviors changes were not seen as significant and it is suggested that crowds may affect
some individuals and not

Around the early 1990 s, 753 kindergartens were evaluated on their social ability skills all the way

Information about positive behavior, like graduating from college and negative behavior, like a

Influence of Led Zeppelin and The Kinks The 1960 s might be the most memorable time in Artistic
influence through music in American History. Music and bands thrived in rapidly changing
society. Growing popularity in this era provided a new platform of influence on the population.
The forefront bands of this time had the chance to change American culture through songs that
only lasted a couple of minutes. There was a lot of groups that had a role in shaping our society
today but only two will be identified and explained in this paper.

mastered the art of their eccentric performance on the stage, with Their wardrobe included tight,
open bottom jeans with tight graphic tees and their big and statement making hairstyles (Rose).
They became the pioneer for the whole rock and roll section of music, teaching every aspect of
performing and musical genius. Despite their influence and upbringing of the whole rock genre,
they had a major impact on the smaller sub genres that allowed other artists to prosper in their
own right. Traces of their work can be seen in Eminem, Beyonce, Aerosmith, Queen, Nirvana,
Pearl Garden, which all grew from the unique sounds that Led Zeppelin created. Overall, Led

38. Persuasive Essay On LGBT
Olabode Adimula
LLA 201
Essay Assignment #2 The LGBT community in the United States has always had massive
difficulty fitting into our society. For many years they put up with constant mistreatment and other
forms of abuse coming from the those who do not agree with their lifestyle. They have for long
advocated for the acceptance of their existence and punishment for crimes committed against them.
One of the hardest battles the community has had to face was the right to marry in a society that
still holds the values of a traditional relationship which is between a male and female. The struggle
was quite harsh but it all paid off by 2015 when the supreme court granted gay couples the right to
marry. This historical decision did not go without outcry and criticisms. Most of the dissatisfaction
came from those who hold very religious values and beliefs that claims homosexuality is a sin.
Religion has always been a part of the American way of life since the nation s founding and with
that homosexuality has been demonized throughout our society. Now that gay couple possess the
legal rights to have a marriage license, religious companies and/or stores are now denying service
to LGBT couples as they believe it sinful on their behalf to even take part. Many people gay or
straight who fought for gay rights believe these is pure discrimination and that stores should not
have the right to deny service for any customer for any reason. However, this belief is
unconstitutional and goes

39. The At The North Texas Teen Book
Hi everyone! This past weekend I had the pleasure of attending The North Texas Teen Book
Festical in Irving, TX. It was so much fun, and honestly it was one of the best weekends of my
life. This post is just an overview of some pictures and the things I did. Let s begin! (All the
bloggers/booktubers I mention will be linked at the end!)
Friday
Friday was educator s day, but they had an author luncheon that was open to the public. The authors
at the luncheon were Sarah Dessen, Ruta Sepetys, and E. Lockhart. I met up with my friend,
Avery, to go to the event. As we were sitting in the lobby, we saw Marie Lu walk in and I started
freaking out. I wanted to go and ask for a picture, but I was too shy to go up to her. We went
inside and sat at a table close to the front (closest to the reserve author table).
As we were sitting there, I look in the corner and Ruta Sepetys (AKA ONE OF MY FAVORITE
AUTHORS) is standing in the corner. Avery and I went over to talk to Ruta, and she was
absolutely adorable. If you ever have the chance to meet Ruta, please seize your opportunity
because she s absolutely brilliant. Avery and I got a picture with her.

40. The Death Of Artemio Cruz
The Death of Artemio Cruz is a novel written in 1962 by Carlos Fuentes chronicling the singular
life and destiny of a man raised in the lower classes of Mexico, who manages to rise into political
and economical power through intrigue and Manichean maneuverings. The following book critique
will contain a summary of the novel and provide some examples and parallels on core course
concepts evident in the story, hopefully demonstrating what learning was obtained using the lens of
global healthmatters. Some of my personal musings and reflections will be included in the paper,
and provide food for thought, reflections on universal problems commonly known if not shared by
us all.
Book Summary Beginning with his participation in the Mexican Revolutionary War as a young
soldier embracing Marxist ideals bent on overthrowing the established, corrupt political structure in
place, The Death of Artemio Cruz details the gradual rise in political and economical influence of
our character in the aftermath of a successful revolution. The main plot underlines a striking
contradiction, as the protagonist eventually espouses principles he has long eschewed, becoming
the exploiter instead of the champion of the downtrodden, betraying the principles he had fought
so long and hard for. The narrative begins while he lies helplessly on his deathbed, in the throes of
drug and disease induced delirium, and through a series of flashbacks features his somewhat addled
reminiscences of a (n) (in)

41. Dr. Bernard, Canada s Nine Non Partisan Senators
Introduction In October 2016, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau named Nova Scotia s Wanda
Thomas Bernard as one of Canada s nine non partisan senators (Williams, 2016). According to
Semansky (2016), Dr. Bernard, who serves as the university s special advisor, diversity and
inclusiveness, [is] the first African Nova Scotian woman to serve in the Senate Chamber (para. 2).
In response to the news, Bernard has stated that equity for all is [her] primary goal in life. To be
able to enter the Senate with that perspective and contribute to the country is an incredible
privilege, one that [she] knows [she] will be accountable for (Semansky, 2016, para. 7). While
Trudeau has named diversity as a priority within the Canadian Parliament,... Show more content on

In this section, I will briefly discuss the effects of Trudeau s Senate reforms and argue that reform is
better than abolishment. Trudeau s three phased Senate reforms give minority group leaders an
opportunity to represent their communities. The reforms attempt to shift the focus from gaining
support for the Liberal party, to a collection of different and diverse minds within the Senate. The
first phase of the reforms focused on the [removal of] all senators from the national Liberal caucus ,
which inherently suggested that senators [no longer] have formal or organic ties with the Liberal
caucus, nor do they have any organizational, financial or other formal responsibilities within the
Liberal Party (Dion, 2015, para. 5). Going from there, the [creation of] a new, nonpartisan, merit
based, broad and diverse process to advise the prime minister on Senate appointments was the
second item on the agenda (Dion, 2015, para. 6). Finally, the third phase targeted the inclusion of
marginalized groups, such as women and minorities, in the Senate (Dion, 2015). Therefore, Trudeau
s appointments are changing the direction of the Senate to include historically oppressed minorities
and their representatives. That being stated, one particular argument that has been raised in
opposition to Senate reforms is that the upper house is no longer relevant and should be abolished
(Maclean s, 2013). The website suggests that

42. College Go To College Essay
College Is the Best Thing You Can Do for Yourself
Many high school seniors choose to go to college over getting a job. They all make this decision
with the belief that it will be more beneficial in the end. With this hope in mind, students are willing
to pay thousands of dollars anticipating that it will have a greater payoff in the end. Although many
people oppose this theory, students worldwide are willing to take the chance. Attending schoolfor a
couple more years is well worth it. With the goal of overall security and eradication of financial
stress, attending college is more likely to foster success in the end. College teaches young adults
valuable life lessons that benefit them in the future. The biggest lesson college taught me is that
I m fully responsible for everything that happens to me says Benjamin Houy (Brooks 1),
meaning that your professors will not make sure you are in class and getting your work done on
time. At the same time, you will learn how to take charge of your own learning. Most of the time
in college, the answers do not come easily, you ll have plenty of opportunities trying to find a
way to acquire the skills you need to turn your dreams into a reality (Brooks 1). While attending
college, you will be gaining knowledge on tasks like budgeting, multi tasking, note taking, and
working with others. As these lessons are not taught in courses (Hoyt 1), they are learned
throughout your experiences during your time on campus. If you don t worry about yourself in
college, nobody else is going to do it for you states Elizabeth Hoyt, explaining how you need to
take care of yourself and become independent. These skills become especially useful in the
workplace when you will have to work together with co workers to get an assignment done for
your employer. College has the ability to change a person s life in many positive ways. Each year
you attend college, the higher your annual salary becomes. Rachel Beckstead explains how adults
with a high school diploma earn $35,256 while those who obtained a master s degree earn an
average of $69,732. Nearly double than if you ended your education after high school. As going to
