Postural Restoration (PRITM) is a neurological based movement approach developed by Ron Hruska to identify and address postural dysfunctions. It uses objective tests to categorize clients into patterns based on overactive muscle chains and imbalances between right and left sides of the body. Treatment focuses on repositioning the pelvis, ribcage, and head to achieve neutral alignment and restoring symmetrical, reciprocal movement. Key concepts include the diaphragm's role in directing spine position, imbalances between the right and left halves of the diaphragm, and achieving the zone of apposition for optimal diaphragm and respiratory function. The goal is to improve neuromotor balance and integrate all systems of the
The Pacific Coast League suspended almost the entire Portland Beavers baseball team after players chased a fan during a game in Las Vegas. All players except one were suspended, with suspensions ranging from 4-8 games. The suspensions depleted the team's roster as they attempted to make the playoffs. The altercation began when a fan heckled a player, and after the game 19 players rushed into the stands and fought with the fan. The suspensions will carry over into the next season for players who change teams.
This document introduces sport injuries, how they are classified, common types, and approaches to managing and preventing them. Sport injuries can be acute or chronic, with acute injuries resulting from single traumatic incidents like strains, sprains or fractures, while chronic injuries are caused by repetitive light trauma and include conditions like tennis elbow. Both types of injuries can be addressed through RICE treatment, physiotherapy, or surgery. Rehabilitation and prevention strategies focus on warmups, flexibility, strength training, and maintaining proper technique and conditioning to avoid future injuries.

NATATION SANTE
