in ceramic education, studio practice and by
curators to further the conversation beyond the
physical world.
In January, Riverkeeper was invited by the Rosendale Commission for the Conservation of the Environment to make a presentation about how stream walks can be used to help understand and address contamination sources, including the fecal contamination citizen scientists are helping to document with Riverkeeper’s help. The event was attended by representatives from environmental advisory boards in Wawarsing, Rochester and Kingston.
We aim to include in this blog post a list of resources for groups interested in stream walks. It isn’t comprehensive, and we will update it as new resources come to our attention.

Soumik Maji is seeking a full-time position as a developer where he can utilize his problem-solving skills. He has a BTech in Computer Science and Engineering from National Institute of Technology Durgapur with a CGPA of 7.0. His areas of interest include algorithms, machine learning, application development, and data mining. He has internship experience in application development and machine learning/data mining. His research project involved plastic surgery invariant face recognition using local binary patterns and principal component analysis algorithms.
Haiku Deck is a presentation tool that allows users to create Haiku style slideshows. The tool encourages users to get started making their own Haiku Deck presentations which can be shared on SlideShare. In just a few sentences, it pitches the idea of using Haiku Deck to easily create visually engaging slideshows.
