The Nazi Regime Enjoyed Broad Consent Brought About by...
As in any country, the support of the working classes was essential for Hitler to maintain the
power he had over Germany. Hitler s use of Strength through Joy holidays is the discussed topic
in the given sources. Whilst all sources show different opinions on this topic, they all agree that,
to a certain extent, that Hitler s use of popular policies was instrumental in his enormous support
base. Despite all sources coming from accredited historians it must also be considered that there
will always be an element of bias in people s work, and their opinions should not be taken as fact.
Source Y, written by Hans Dieter Schafer, suggests that Hitler played on state paternalism, by vastly
improving working conditions; sourcing cheap cars ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Without a designated union to fight for them, working classes could not bargain for higher
wages or shorter hours. Fest does not pretend that this was for the benefit of the people and
suggest that this sort of contempt for the working classes was typical of Hitler. The source
highlights the considerable deprivation of political rights which is a key theme within this
question, the overall feeling from source z is that the system which Hitler installed was not
successful, however, it can be strongly argued that is was, as seen in source y, his manipulation of
the lower classes provided Hitler with what can only be described as a mass following.
Both source y and z suggest that Hitler understood workers mentality; in contrast source aa
suggests that the regime believed Strength through Joy could have an ideological impact. What
this source, written by Richard Evans, shows is that the workers had no understanding, nor did
they care for politics, which is a strong contradiction to the theme in source z. It is suggested that
the working classes just saw the holidays as an escape from everyday life. However, where this
source is lacking is its lack of content over the cultural aspects of the holidays. It states that they
were appreciated , but is not conclusive as to whether the workers were won over by Nazism via the
programme. The general consensus as the end of this source is reached is that the programme was

Human-Centered Information Security Management (SVCC)
Human Centered Information Security Management
Information Security Specialists were a silo a decade ago and centralized. The term information
security means protecting information and information systems from unauthorized access, use,
disclosure, disruption, modification, or destruction in order to provide integrity, confidentiality, and
availability. (Greene, 2014, p. 65) At SVCC, it s now everybody s responsibility regardless of their
job description or department within this agency.
In a data oriented culture, SVCC have a top down approach to information security that starts with
executives and upper management, and flows down to the rest of the agency. We share a belief that

Irony In Shakespeare s Much Ado About Nothing
New York City, 10:30 pm. It is another packed night at the Comedy Cellar on Macdougal Street,
siting in the audience is a group who has just walked in from the bustle of the big city. Naturally,
the stress of daily life hangs like a tangible fog, and peoples spirits rise in hope to forget about
their own problems and laugh their worry away. A grumpy, fat, balding, middle aged man
saunters on stage and makes some witty remark about how life sucks. In many ways he is right,
everyone laughs, people relate to his struggles. Life is hard, and when flaws get exaggerated, it s
hilarious. This is what Shakespeare does in his comedyMuch Ado About Nothing, by making
extreme simplifications and drawing on human imperfections, it becomes easy to find... Show more

Where is the line defining how much trust you should have in another persons word? In the case
of Beatrice and Benedict, their trust in the admonition of their peers led them to be manipulated
and their thoughts were tainted. However, their deception turned out to catalyst true love. As
soon as their love virus spread, the two witty, independent individuals completely dismissed the
disdain that they so grudgingly held for one another. This satiric event exposes the idea that
quite possibly one should spend a bit more time processing and questioning information handed
to them. Beatrice and Benedict fell into the influence of the conspirators and all previous ideas
of one another dissipated. In my personal opinion, I would have a bit more trouble than Beatrice
when falling for a man who referred to her as Lady Disdain and who compared her intellectual,
tenacious wit to a horse (pg. 12). So either the people of Shakespeare s time didn t hold grudges,
or he is making fun of people who will give up all prior knowledge in the interest of love. (It s the
second part, if you were confused.) The desperate will that all humans have for love is powerful,
and Shakespeare is criticizing the ease that people have at shutting their third eye (knowledge) when

The Fundamental Principles Of Life In Ray Bradbury s...
Change: The Fundamental Principle of Life
Change is one of the fundamental principles of life. In life, it is recurring that mentalities and
philosophies inadvertently change just as often as age and maturity. As life goes on, change is
what allows life to continue and progress. Change is eternal. The changes that we experience come
because of certain events that take place in life, or oftentimes just because of maturity. Whatever
changes that transpire, it is important to embrace them, as life goes on. Ray Bradbury s novel
Dandelion Wine embodies these same aspects of change through its central characters, Doug and
Tom Spaulding. The way that they exemplify this idea of continual change is through their lives
during the summer of 1928. During this period, Doug and Tom watch change influence their lives
as well as their community with the changes they see around them, the people, and the changes
with themselves.
Doug and Tom experience change in their lives through the events that coincide around them. In
retrospect, both boys recognize that just in the summer, changes arise that they would admittedly
never have foreseen. Beginning in chapter thirteen, the Happiness Machine reaches its end.
Although this creation had not been around for long, the boys were most certainly disappointed to
see the Happiness Machine reach its end. In the story, while Douglas is looking into the family rug,
he cannot help notice that certain parts look like the Happiness Machine burning up. No

We Are All Federalists All Republicans Summary
In the writings; We Are All Federalists, All Republicans , Max Lerner discusses that Thomas
Jefferson was one of the first presidents to have to deal with party politics. The opposing sides
were the Federalists and Republicans. The article also discusses other presidents and how they
reacted to political parties. The article especially talks about Thomas Jeffersons life and what was
happening in the country. Before Jefferson became the president, a heated confrontation
between the Federalist Party and Republican Party developed, so everyone expected that
Jefferson criticized and denied the federalist s policy. However, he did not attack the Federalist,
but rather praised that both parties could express their opinion freely even though it was bit
aggressive. This approval of the opponent would be one of strategies to calm them down. In his
inaugural address he says, We are all Federalists, we are all Republicans. Some people would say
that Jefferson made a bad decision to unite both sides, but it really was a good idea because a
country cannot be effective with a tear in its citizens.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Symbolism In Everything That Rises Must Converge
In Flannery O Connor s short story, Everything That Rises Must Converge , O Connor uses the
symbolism of the violet hat and the shiny new penny along with all of the things Julian s mother
has done for him throughout his life, to place the broader societal conflict of race relations within
the context of the unstable relationship Julian has with his mother, showing how poor southern
whites used blacks to elevate themselves. Julian s clashes with his mother over morals, race, and
appearances mimic the greater conflict of racial relations in society. Everything Julian s mother
sacrifices for her son isn t out of love for him; she puts him before herself only to make him fit the
Godhigh criteria, and in turn uses him to separate and elevate... Show more content on

From the beginning of the story we see that it s clear Julian s mother is obsessed with her
appearance. The fact that her family once had political influence and wealth (p.407), not to
mention power over the lives of 200 slaves (p.408), and now no longer has it, deeply troubles
her, prompting her to overcompensate for this loss by always dressing and looking her best in
public. When the violet hat is first introduced we learn that, [t]he hat was new and had cost her
seven dollars and a half, (p.405) She later states that she could, pay the gas bill with seven fifty,
(p.407). It is clear that with those prices and her issues with integration that this story took place
in the 1960s. From this we know that Julian s mom has expensive taste in clothing. Which
reveals that she puts her appearance before her bills, emphasizing the importance of her sense of
identity is. Her identity is what sets her apart from the rest of society, and is what her ancestors
used to elevate themselves above African Americans. It is apparent throughout the story that
Julian s mother has a preconceived notion of how things in society should be, depicting her to be
a bigot. This is a result of her upbringing, it s all she s ever known. The reason why segregation
was so important to poor Southerners was because they were

Women Of Latin American Culture
Women of Latin American culture have incessantly ensued the potent gender roles that have
become a social construction of their society over innumerable decades. The profound author of
Insurgent Mexico, John Reed, imparts his experiences with the revolutionary leaders of the
Mexican Revolution, like Pancho Villa, and was able to witness their culture and more specifically
the roles these Mexican women were forced to render by their chauvinistic counterparts. This period
of revolution, started to grant women new mantles usually reserved only for men, like participating
in fighting for the success of the revolution; any preeminent changes would soon approach, but in

In Reed s accounts he expressed how he heard the angry voice of the master of the house reminded
the woman that she was not doing five or six things at once in which his woman would then go
attend to the orders he had just given (Reed, 17). There is an order of importance to note that
Reed always refers to these Mexican women as the man s woman and never their wife, however
when he speaks through the woman s account he refers to the man as their husband. There is
more respect demanded from the women of Mexican culture during the early 1900s because the
men viewed their laborious work that brings in money as a means to deserve to be treated like
masters of their family. The specifically crafted language Reed uses when he speaks of the labor
the women perform, can demonstrate that he realizes they are weary and overworked. Along with
everything Reed includes when he is describing the women work, there is important to also note
that he omits any complaints made by women to their husbands. Throughout the novel in any
interaction between and man and his woman, never did the woman complain about her arduous
work and the commands she received. The work women did in Mexican culture is expected of
them and it ties into machismo on part of the men because they feel their job is only to bring
income while the wives took care of the rest. Taking this into account, Reed portrays these women
to be tolerant and respectful not only to these men in their lives they

Another technique which individuals can use is autogenic training which centers a human to
produce warmth and heaviness, that can eventually leads to a state of relaxation.
Another technique that can be applied to one s life in order to help one to regulate arousal during
performance is called multimodal anxiety reduction packages. A well known form of this anxiety
reducing technique is called stress management training. SMT consists of applying relaxation and
cognitive components to one s form of coping responses to emotional arousal that may arise within.
Another example of a multidomal anxiety reduction that may fortify one s way of coping with
stress is through stress inoculation training. This particular training involves exposing a human to
stressful components, including mental images, and self statements, that fortifies a human s
resistance to stress.
Therefore, as mentioned before, arousal regulation is a particular coping mechanism which athletes

Should Children Be Allowed To Spank Children
The stresses of parenting are often times hard and relentless. With this in mind, many parents try
their best to deal with those stresses and make the best of raising their children. This often times
requires disciplining, in order to end and/or curb bad behavior. Corporal punishment is one of these
forms of discipline. According to Merriam Webster Dictionary, corporal punishment
is punishment
inflicted on a person s body ( Corporal Punishment ). The most common form of corporal
punishment is spankingwhich is often used to deal with child rearing or bad behavior (Knox and

According to the Merriam Webster Dictionary, reasoning is the ability of the mind to think and
understand things in a logical way ( Reasoning ). So, the goal is to get the child to understand or
at least think about what he/she has done wrong. Sometimes, parents will raise their voice at their
kids. In fact, most parents will yell at their child at some point (Morris). This is very ineffective
when trying to reason with a child as tends to just shut them down (Arky). Furthermore, yelling has
also been associated with lower self esteem in children (Arky). One way to reason with a child
effectively, without yelling, is to use a firm tone (Ramchandani). This lets the child understand he

Rosa Bonheur s Buffalo Bill
Bonheur was full of curiosity about the many animals and American Indians that were part of the
spectacle, reflecting her enormous enthusiasm in at least seventeen paintings and countless
sketches produced during her almost daily visits to the encampment. An important portrait of
Buffalo Bill himself, mounted on his favourite white horse, was also completed during the time
that Bonheur spent there. It s a straightforward composition, with the white horse trotting on a
somewhat dusty path towards the viewer, slightly at an angle and meeting our gaze, while Cody
glances to one side as if enacting the tracker he once was (see Fig. 7). The background is filled
with some nondescript shrubs and trees, ubiquitous to many picturesque locations of the world,
accompanying a rather calm blue sky. Fig. 7 Rosa Bonheur, Col. William F. Cody (Buffalo
Bill), 1889. The equestrian portrait of Buffalo Bill became an American icon. Buffalo Bill was a
metaphor for all that America stood for and it s no surprise Bonheur was drawn to the man,
perhaps seeing him as a beacon of hope on horseback of a symbolic white steed. Being a forward
thinking womanshe identified America with the liberation of women and a progressive attitude that

Codependant Interactions
The way people interact with these objects is as important as the arrangement they are set in. The
relationship humans and non humans have is significant because they change the way one feels
towards a certain space. Since the barriers demand authority, the way humans interact with them
differs. I questioned the barrier s necessity and the officer responded by telling me, it is a way to
separate the crowd and cause a distortion to the crowd, and if things began to get out of hand we
are able to add more barriers. By phrasing it in this manner the policeofficer gave me the
impression the barrier is beneficial for protecting groups on both sides of the barrier. If there have

Once an individual becomes an observer, they also become a subject of observation. When walking
through Sproul Plaza one not only interacts with the barricades, but also are molding themselves
into a part of what people are observing. Through others actions, persuades others on how to act in
the space. As a result of others actions, it changes the way others interact, and also shifts how both
the human and non human occupy the space. There is a codependant relationship between the
object and the subject because without the barrier, the subject would not know where to go and be
safe, and without the need for the subject to be protected, the object would not have a purpose.
Humans have a tendency to give meaning to objects that are being collected, and presented, the
barricade changes meaning depending on its placement. For instance, in the warehouse where the
barricades are being stored, they would not represent any authority. Once they were installed on
campus for their intended purpose our perception of them changed from that of mere objects to that

Pros And Cons Of Libertarianism
For this essay I shall explain libertarianism in a general sense, observing its aims and ideals for
society, what a government s role is in this society and what common views libertarians may
share. I will conclude with identifying a plausible form of this political philosophy based on the
idealist merits it puts forward to form a society based on personal freedom.
Libertarianism in a general sense is the view that every individual has the right to live their life in
any which way they may choose, so long as they hold respect for the equal rights of others. A
Libertarian government defends every individual s right to life, liberty, and property, observing
that all people hold this as a natural born right. Libertarians hold the view that, all individuals
relationships should be voluntary; and the main actions that should be restricted and punishable by
law are those that involve use of coercion against another or remove or impose on the rights of
another in any such way. A Libertarian is one who advocates maximizing individual rights and
minimizing the role of the state (What is Libertarian? 2013).
As a political philosophy Libertarianism aims towards the upholding of everyone s personal
liberties as its main principle. Classical Libertinism is built on the idea ... Show more content on

The Development Of Children s Education
5 7 years:
This age group of children will have to go through a transition from nursery to school; reception
year, (where practitioners still follow EYFS) and then children move on to key stage one, (where
teachers follow the National Curriculum Key Stage 1). Children s education is still based on play,
however now children have a lot more of adult led activities in which they learn to concentrate for
longer periods of time. The environment in schools that surrounds children is more complex
because the children get to learn more, therefore some displays might contain bigger amount of
more complex mathematical language than we can find in a nursery setting. As children go into
key stage 1, it isn t the only environmental look that changes, the equipment is also more
complex and advanced because it is aimed for children that are now at a higher stage of
mathematical development. As I discussed earlier Early Years Foundation Stage changes and
becomes the National Curriculum Key Stage 1; the system changes a little bit and instead of
carpet time that children used to have in the nursery becomes a lesson . Some children in reception
might still work on their emergent mathematics. However, as they move up to Key Stage 1,
children begin to learn a lot more complex mathematics and it is not longer emergent because they
have passed this stage which should be fully achieved by now...

The Death Of Trotsky By David Ives
Violence has been a part of plays for centuries. It keeps the play interesting and intriguing, but
however, most of the time there is a greater purpose of violence. When looking for it in plays one
would automatically look for weapons or signs of physically harming someone like. However,
verbiage can be an act of violenceas well. The phrase, sticks and stones may break my bones, but
words will never hurt me is false. Your tongue has no bones, but is strong enough to hurt another
person. Like in the playThe Stronger by August Strindbergwhere Miss Y is verbally insulted
countless of times. Whereas in the play Variations on the Death of Trotsky by David Ives one can
see the physical violence by the tragic murder that occurred. After distinguishing where the violence
is coming from one can then analyze the true role of the violence and compare how the violence
affect the dramas.
When looking at The Stronger you can see just how Miss Y in verbally insulted over and over
again by Mrs. X. While Miss Y is just sitting at a table by herself minding her own business when
Mrs. X shows up. During the entire play Miss Y does not say one word while Mrs. X insults her
and says rude things like, Poor Amelia, I pity you, nevertheless, because I knew you are
unhappy, unhappy like one who has been wounded, and angry because you are wounded. () She

The Theory Of Perception Of The Existence Of God
In Principles of Human Knowledge, Berkeley posits the doctrine of idealism largely in response to
the theory of perception connected to representationalism. While the representationalist would
agree that only sensory ideas can be immediately perceived, Berkeley s view dramatically differs
from representationalism in that he denies the existence of material objects and, consequently, the
causal role they are presumed to hold in producing sensations (Heide 15 Sept). Berkeley takes this
immaterialist position to undoubtedly prove the existence of God while attributing to him a
properly significant causal relationship to sensible ideas. It will be appropriate to assume that
immaterialism is true, as his argument for God s role in the... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

An idea is dependent on the mind of the perceiver, meaning that all components of that idea must
be perceivable by nature. The idea, the perceived, is distinct from the perceiver in that there is no
power or agency existing in it. Since it is impossible for an idea to do anything, or, strictly
speaking, to be the cause of anything: neither can it be the resemblance or pattern of any active
being (34; sec. 25). Berkeley s argument here is simple, yet highly intuitive. It makes little sense to
claim that something mind dependent could contain anything, like agency, that could escape the
perception of the mind! If there was agency in an idea, it would be a clearly perceivable aspect of
it, and surely ideas cannot do anything and perform actions, being fundamentally different than
minds.
Evidently something causes sensations, as Berkeley points out they are constantly appearing,
altering and ceasing to be. If physical objects are nonexistent, and ideas cannot be causally
active, he insists that incorporeal active substance or spirit is all that remains (35; sec. 26). Spirit
is defined as unified, possessing two powers: the understanding and the will, the first which
perceives ideas while the second produces and otherwise operates about them (35; sec. 27).
Berkeley examines his own spirit as the next contender for the cause of his sensible ideas, rejecting
this proposal on the basis that he does not bring about

What Is Morrisseau s Life Juxtaposition With His Work
Morrisseau s life and work were an area of interest to many scholars; this is due to the life that
was full of events that Morrisseau lived, and due to how sensational his artwork was. Hence, many
scholars wrote about Morrisseau, such as Cameron Robertson. Robertson was an Indigenous
scholar and associate professor of contemporary Indigenous art history at University of Regina
(Canada). She is the current president of the Norval Morrisseau Heritage Society . Robertson wrote
a monograph on Morrisseau media constructed life juxtaposed with his art works. She analyzed the

What Factors Affect The State Of Kansas
Despite what the rest of the country thinks, the state of Kansas is a very diverse state. Each town
and county has a multitude of factors that directly affect the overall population of that town and
county. In eastern Kansas there are quite a few large towns and cities that are interconnected
together by the U.S. interstate system. In fact all ten of the largest cites in Kansasare in the eastern
half of the state. This is not the case in western Kansas, were there are a lot of small town that are
connected by state highways. Because of this population distribution, many factors can affect the
overall populations of the 105 counties in the state of Kansas. Factors like race, income, and

The U. S. And Turkey
Consequences the 2016 Coup brought to The U.S. and Turkey
Historically, relations between the United States and Turkey were formed through mutual respect
and interest. The first U.S. interaction dates to 1831, when the United States established diplomatic
relations with the Ottoman Empire (the U.S. Department of State) in 1831 through the formal act
of diplomatic recognition between the countries. The friendship was strengthened in the early
1900s as the United States was elevated to Embassy status in 1906. During World War I
, however,
the U.S. broke the neutrality and declared war against Germany, a prime ally of the Ottoman Empire
for Central Powers. This incident caused a severity in the diplomatic relations between the U.S. and

However, the state of the contemporary relationship has been unstable through events and the rising
anti American sentiment among Turkish citizens. Despite the U.S. support to Turkey for the
security of the Middle East region and the corresponding benefits through the bilateral cooperation,
the two countries have currently been through several controversies.
As a safety measure toward the Islamic State, the growing presence of Muslim fundamentalism
(ABC Clio), the U.S. militarily has supported the Kurdish armed force in Syria, a minority ethnic
group in the Middle East, to counter against the IS. However, Turkey claimed that the armed force
has a connection to the Kurdistan Workers Party, which has is designated as a terrorist group by
Turkey. Despite the insistence of the country, the U.S. has not ceased the support, creating a split
between the two countries.
A coup attempted by the Peace Council, a faction of the Turkish army, was the most prime
precipitating event that led the contemporary relationship between the U.S and Turkey into a
confrontation. Since Erdogan inaugurated as the president, the approval rate was remarkably ever
increasing through the strong economic conditions. On the other hand, he strengthened the
dictatorial policy of Islamization in the country. Against the stance, the Turkish army believed in the
importance of the separation of religion and politics, thus the relationship with the

In the next few days, Bernard asks his superior, the Director, for permission to visit the
Reservation. The Director launches into a story about a visit to the Reservation he had made with
a woman twenty years earlier, in which, during a storm, the woman was lost and never recovered.
Finally, he gives Bernard the permit, and Bernard and Lenina depart for the Reservation. Before
heading into the Reservation, Bernard calls Helmholtz and learns that the Director has grown
weary of what he sees as Bernard s difficult and unsocial behavior and is planning to exile Bernard
to Iceland when he returns. Bernard is angry and distraught, but decides to head into the
Reservation anyway.
On the Reservation, Lenina and Bernard are shocked to see its aged and ill residents; no one in
the World State has any visible signs of aging. They witness a religious ritual in which a young
man is whipped, and are disgusted. After the ritual they meet John, a fair skinned young man
who is isolated from the rest of the village. John tells Bernard about his childhood as the son of a
woman named Linda who was rescued by the villagers some twenty years ago, and Bernard
realizes that Linda is the woman mentioned by the Director. Talking to John, he learns that Linda
was ostracized because of her willingness to sleep with all the men in the village, and that as a
result John was raised in isolation from the rest of the village. John explains that he

Freeman frequently used Government documents to tell some stories of these men and
sometimes interviews from various articlesto cross reference the amazing heroic rescue stories
of some of the 500 American air men, after most where shot down during the bombings of
German petroleum Fields during Operation Air Bridge. For instance,in the beginning he tells
Mike McKool s story from the summery of the account he provided in Operation Air Bridge,
along with newspapers articles from 1946(48). Than he goes on to tell the story of Thomas
Oliver and how he was flying a barrowed plain from His summary of his account he provided in
his unpublished manuscript (49). At the end of the book he gives notes to prove that his facts
or sources are creditable. He does supply enough info to insure his facts are indeed respectable.

Google s Uses For Creating And Linking Your Content
When it comes to backlinks, they can propel your website to the top of the Google pile, or they
can sink your website to the depths of the unknown. After creating your website and spending
time as well as effort to build your site, you don t want to be sunk by bad backlinking practices.
You want to stay on the good side of Google. To do that, you ll needto practice white hat strategies
for creating and linking your content.
Link Building of the Past
The days of creating thousands of terrible, non related links from spammy sites is over. As little as
a few years ago, Google would count the number of links to see who had the most authoritative site.
Now, Google s algorithm is more complex, and it s smarter. It will check to see if the content is
being shared by others. It will check the quality of the content being created too.
The old spammy link building process can actually incur penalties with Google that can actually
hurt your search engine optimization.
Creating Shareable, Linkable Content
Where old strategies would allow you to create any kind of content, which would often be riddled
with typos and bad information, Google now wants you to create meaningful, detailed and accurate
content that s focused on the reader.
You need to do more than create posts and pages of information for your website. The content
should be planned in advance. It s helpful to create a content strategy on a spreadsheet to really
keep track of the content you d like to add.

Developing Sustainable Fiscal Policies And Implementing A...
A budget can be described as an allocation mechanism that the Government uses to distribute a
nation s resources amongst different economic sectors that serve or are existent within a
country. The major source of Government resources distributed is taxes paid by resident or
citizens of a given country. A budget is one tool that has a lot of political and economic
significance since it controls a Government s expenditures and it lays out a path that the economy
will follow or at least try to follow in a given year. The Government, being the main board
governing or running a country has a major role of developing sustainable fiscal policies and
ensuring or try to achieve economic growth and it is through budgeting that these goals can be
successful achieved. A budget translate a Government s policies, political commitments, and goals
into decisions on how much revenue to raise, how it plans to raise the revenue, and how to use
these funds to meet the country s competing needs and these may include improving the country s
security, alleviating poverty, improving health care among other things. Budgeting is of great
economic and political significance because a Government s budget directly or indirectly affects
the lives of every citizen or resident. Considering the fact that it is the people that have the power
to decide the political life of the political party running the country, the Government would want to

Malware Problem Analysis Paper
Problem
Malware, as defined by the National Institute of Standards and Technology, refers to a program that
is covertly inserted into another program with the intent to destroy data, run destructive or intrusive
programs, or otherwise compromise the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of the victim s
data, applications or operating system. (M. K., 2013) This is a threat to all companies with any
type of internet access and/or electronic information storage. That is currently a large number of
both small and big businesses.
Some important terms to take into account here is confidentiality, integrity and availability. These
terms are known as CIA and are the core principles of information security. Malwarewill affect all
three indefinitely if left unchecked. This will not only hurt a company s revenue but will
potentially also hurt their reputation if wide scale enough. Malware is, by Gulf South Tech
Solutions, considered to be the biggest threat to a business. With over 5,000 new malware attacks
every day, the average time to resolve being over 25 days, the average financial cost being $3
million, and over 60% of the websites that infect a computer being legitimate sites that were
compromised makes defense of paramount importance now more than ever. (Gulf South
Technology Solutions, 2015)
Solution
The fix to the Malware problem is the implementation of the NIST SP 800 83 regulation. It covers
all aspects of malware handling and will assist in mitigating the

Men who when stark sober could let themselves go , men who were in dread of convention, were
utterly different beings when they drank. For alcohol made most men bold. Most timid men like
the feeling of boldness (Anonymous 122). As depicted in both stories, alcohol can be used as a
tool to help people break out of their shell and discover traits that they never knew existed.
Alcohol can also leave many physical effects on a person s body. Zailckas described her first
ever blackout by receiving details from her friends and parents because she herself could not
remember. I passed out on the dock in a puddle of my own vomit (Zailckas 92). Passing out in
your vomit is a common effect of alcohol abuse and has led to many people suffocating and
dying. She explained how she woke up in a hospital bed with bruises all over from her also
drunken friends dropping her while trying to carry her lifeless body. Being as though the people
that she was with were also intoxicated, her situation was worsened and more damage was done.
Along with the physical consequences of drinking, alcohol can have many negative effects on a
person s mental health. For Koren, she could not remember big pieces of her experiences from
the past. Alcohol impaired her judgment as well, leading her to make bad choices in friends.
Because Koren suffered from low self esteem, she would do whatever it took to be accepted. If

Growth Theories Of Growth And Growth Models
Growth Theories
Under the growth theories some theories of growth and growth models will be reviewed;
i) The Harrod Domar Growth Model
In economic literature, this model is called capital only model. Harrod and Domar (1948) took
over from Rostow, because Rostow had some unanswered questions. The model stated that saving
is a certain proportion of national income and net investment is defined as the change in capital
stock (K). The model further assumes that there is some direct relationship between the size of the
capital stock, (K), and total GNP, (Y). This follows that any addition to the capital stock in the form
of new investment will bring about corresponding increase in the flow of national output, GNP.
This relationship is known in economics as the capital output ratio. If the capital output ratio is
defined as k and assume further that the national savings ratio, s, is a fixed proportion of national
output (e.g. 6%) and that total new investment is determined by the level of total savings, we can
construct the following simple model of economic growth Balami (2006).
Savings (S) is some proportion, S, of national income (Y) such that we have the simple equation
S = SY ....................................................................................... (2.1)
Net investment (I) is defined as the change in the capital stock, K, and can be represented by О”K
such that
I = О”K ...................................................................................... (2.2)
But because the total capital stock, K, bears a direct relationship to total national income or output,

Epidemiology Of Obesity
Obesity is a leading preventable cause of death worldwide and its prevalence is increasing at an

A Wrinkle In Time
Thesis Paper
Draft 1
Good and Evil are just a point of view. This quote means, that good and evil are just something a
person believes, or looks at another person. You could think a person is evil, or you could think
he/she is good, by their behaviour and nature. This thesis paper will show you that it is a point of
view. It includes sources, primarily from the book, A Wrinkle In Time . Some other sources are
Ramayan , A Mauryan Adventure and Wonder .
Starting off with the first source, A Wrinkle In Time . This is the primary source, as the statement
arose from this book. From the chapter, IT , it was seen that IT , thought by controlling the people
of Camazotz, he was doing the right thing. Whereas, others didn t think so. This ... Show more

This comes from the book, The Ramyana , by Ralph T. H. Griffith. On page 884 885, he says that
Lakshmana cut of the nose of Ravana s sister, Surpnakha. To take revenge, Ravana thought by
kidnapping Sita and making Rama and Lakshmana pay for their doings, he was doing the right
thing. The whole of Ayodhya, though, thought he was being evilby kidnapping Sita. This means
that, from a point of view, taking revenge, on someone, is good. From a different point of view, a
revenge an be an evil thing to commit to.
This leads us to our third secondary source, from the book, A Mauryan Adventure by Subadhra
Sen Gupta. Kamalika and Kartik think of killing the king to take revenge of his father as the king
didn t care of his father s death. Kartik s sister Madhura stops him from doing such an evil thing.
This again shows that there are different points of view on good and evil. Kartik thinks it is good,
but Madhura thinks it s evil. This shows good and evil are just a point of view.
To conclude, you can say that good and evil are just a point of view, a mere shadow, as of the
many reason shown in various books. Although all of these may be fictional or mythical, they all
implement the same thing; true life. You can find these in everyday occourances, all the fights you
had or will have, was just the cause of a point of view. Wait a second, think, and act. To sing a
song, you must know all its

The Role Of Nkt Organs In NKT Cells
NKT TCRs are traditionally categorized into two distinct populations based on the TCR gene
usage and antigen specificity, namely the invariant/type I NKT TCRs and diverse/type II NKT
TCRs (Godfrey et al., 2004b). For the past two decades, much of the work in the field of NKT
biology focused on the type I NKT cells largely due to their ability to recognize О± GalCer
loaded CD1d tetramers (Benlagha et al., 2000). While CD1d О± GalCer tetramers still remain as
a major tool to characterize NKT cells, type II NKT cells do not recognize О± GalCer and as a
result, their role in cellular immunity remain largely unknown. Interestingly, type I and type II
NKT TCRs function as two discrete populations where not only do these cells recognize a different

Notwithstanding the concern, JО±18в€’/в€’mice has practically still remained as a primary tool
for understanding the functional relevance of type II NKT cells.
Recent work by Tatituri et al. (2013) have identified several type II NKT cellreactive
phospholipids from the cell wall of Mycobacterium tuberculosis and Corynebacterium
glutamicum, thereby provided a direct evidence for the role of type II NKT cells in microbial
infections. These lipids were identified as phosphatidylglycerol, diphosphatidylglycerol, and
phosphatidylinositol and exhibited reactivity for a range of type II NKT cell hybridomas
(Tatituri et al., 2013). Similarly, Wolf et al. (2015) have described the reactivity of type II NKT
cell hybridomas for phosphatidylglycerol derived from the cell wall of Listeria monocytogenes
(Wolf et al., 2015). While these studies clearly underlined the immunogenicity of type II NKT cells
for microbial antigens, the selectivity and specificity of these lipids remained doubtful largely due
to their abundance in mammalian counterpart (Cox et al., 2009; Gumperz et al., 2000).
NKT cells also exhibit reactivity for a range of О± and ОІ linked glycolipids when presented by
CD1d (Godfrey et al., 2010; Venkataswamy and Porcelli, 2010). The О± glycosidic linkage that
defines О± GalCer and several

Attentive Anxiety
Anxiety Anxiety is a reaction to potential dangers, while fear connects with direct menace. Anxiety
involves less organized behavior than fear phobias. Although being listed in DSM IV as anxiety
disorders, connect to direct threats. The neural circuits of anxiety and fear are different. Fear is the
key affect in PTSD and its function is stimulating defence. Thus, PTSD can be a disorder of
defence. That PTSD is harmful and disabling does not automatically deny possibly adaptive job.
The most necessary a feature is for survival the more it will be conserved over evolutionary time.
Attentive immobility Attentive immobility is a transitional condition of high excitement and
hypervigilance that takes after recognition of a conceivable quick risk. Attentive immobility keeps
the set out still toward cautious appraisal of risk, gives crypsis and makes preparations for flight or
forceful barrier. Attentive immobility includes centered consideration, heart deceleration, absense
of pain and potentiated startle. Attentive immobility is especially articulated in rats, making them
valuable research subjects, yet it is a familiar human experience, unlike to the unfamiliar tonic
immobil ity. Withdrawal Patients with PTSD frequently speak more about refuging than about
flight. They pick up a more noteworthy comprehension of their... Show more content on

  • 2. The Nazi Regime Enjoyed Broad Consent Brought About by... As in any country, the support of the working classes was essential for Hitler to maintain the power he had over Germany. Hitler s use of Strength through Joy holidays is the discussed topic in the given sources. Whilst all sources show different opinions on this topic, they all agree that, to a certain extent, that Hitler s use of popular policies was instrumental in his enormous support base. Despite all sources coming from accredited historians it must also be considered that there will always be an element of bias in people s work, and their opinions should not be taken as fact. Source Y, written by Hans Dieter Schafer, suggests that Hitler played on state paternalism, by vastly improving working conditions; sourcing cheap cars ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Without a designated union to fight for them, working classes could not bargain for higher wages or shorter hours. Fest does not pretend that this was for the benefit of the people and suggest that this sort of contempt for the working classes was typical of Hitler. The source highlights the considerable deprivation of political rights which is a key theme within this question, the overall feeling from source z is that the system which Hitler installed was not successful, however, it can be strongly argued that is was, as seen in source y, his manipulation of the lower classes provided Hitler with what can only be described as a mass following. Both source y and z suggest that Hitler understood workers mentality; in contrast source aa suggests that the regime believed Strength through Joy could have an ideological impact. What this source, written by Richard Evans, shows is that the workers had no understanding, nor did they care for politics, which is a strong contradiction to the theme in source z. It is suggested that the working classes just saw the holidays as an escape from everyday life. However, where this source is lacking is its lack of content over the cultural aspects of the holidays. It states that they were appreciated , but is not conclusive as to whether the workers were won over by Nazism via the programme. In the case of Beatrice and Benedict, their trust in the admonition of their peers led them to be manipulated and their thoughts were tainted. However, their deception turned out to catalyst true love. As soon as their love virus spread, the two witty, independent individuals completely dismissed the disdain that they so grudgingly held for one another. This satiric event exposes the idea that quite possibly one should spend a bit more time processing and questioning information handed to them. Beatrice and Benedict fell into the influence of the conspirators and all previous ideas of one another dissipated. In my personal opinion, I would have a bit more trouble than Beatrice when falling for a man who referred to her as Lady Disdain and who compared her intellectual, tenacious wit to a horse (pg. 12). • 5. The Fundamental Principles Of Life In Ray Bradbury s... Change: The Fundamental Principle of Life Change is one of the fundamental principles of life. In life, it is recurring that mentalities and philosophies inadvertently change just as often as age and maturity. As life goes on, change is what allows life to continue and progress. Change is eternal. The changes that we experience come because of certain events that take place in life, or oftentimes just because of maturity. Whatever changes that transpire, it is important to embrace them, as life goes on. Ray Bradbury s novel Dandelion Wine embodies these same aspects of change through its central characters, Doug and Tom Spaulding. The way that they exemplify this idea of continual change is through their lives during the summer of 1928. During this period, Doug and Tom watch change influence their lives as well as their community with the changes they see around them, the people, and the changes with themselves. Doug and Tom experience change in their lives through the events that coincide around them. In retrospect, both boys recognize that just in the summer, changes arise that they would admittedly never have foreseen. Beginning in chapter thirteen, the Happiness Machine reaches its end. Although this creation had not been around for long, the boys were most certainly disappointed to see the Happiness Machine reach its end. The article especially talks about Thomas Jeffersons life and what was happening in the country. Before Jefferson became the president, a heated confrontation between the Federalist Party and Republican Party developed, so everyone expected that Jefferson criticized and denied the federalist s policy. However, he did not attack the Federalist, but rather praised that both parties could express their opinion freely even though it was bit aggressive. This approval of the opponent would be one of strategies to calm them down. In his inaugural address he says, We are all Federalists, we are all Republicans. Libertarianism in a general sense is the view that every individual has the right to live their life in any which way they may choose, so long as they hold respect for the equal rights of others. A Libertarian government defends every individual s right to life, liberty, and property, observing that all people hold this as a natural born right. Libertarians hold the view that, all individuals relationships should be voluntary; and the main actions that should be restricted and punishable by law are those that involve use of coercion against another or remove or impose on the rights of another in any such way. The Theory Of Perception Of The Existence Of God In Principles of Human Knowledge, Berkeley posits the doctrine of idealism largely in response to the theory of perception connected to representationalism. While the representationalist would agree that only sensory ideas can be immediately perceived, Berkeley s view dramatically differs from representationalism in that he denies the existence of material objects and, consequently, the causal role they are presumed to hold in producing sensations (Heide 15 Sept). An idea is dependent on the mind of the perceiver, meaning that all components of that idea must be perceivable by nature. The idea, the perceived, is distinct from the perceiver in that there is no power or agency existing in it. Since it is impossible for an idea to do anything, or, strictly speaking, to be the cause of anything: neither can it be the resemblance or pattern of any active being (34; sec. 25). Berkeley s argument here is simple, yet highly intuitive. It makes little sense to claim that something mind dependent could contain anything, like agency, that could escape the perception of the mind! If there was agency in an idea, it would be a clearly perceivable aspect of it, and surely ideas cannot do anything and perform actions, being fundamentally different than minds. Evidently something causes sensations, as Berkeley points out they are constantly appearing, altering and ceasing to be. If physical objects are nonexistent, and ideas cannot be causally active, he insists that incorporeal active substance or spirit is all that remains (35; sec. 26). Spirit is defined as unified, possessing two powers: the understanding and the will, the first which perceives ideas while the second produces and otherwise operates about them (35; sec. 27). Growth Theories Of Growth And Growth Models Growth Theories Under the growth theories some theories of growth and growth models will be reviewed; i) The Harrod Domar Growth Model In economic literature, this model is called capital only model. Harrod and Domar (1948) took over from Rostow, because Rostow had some unanswered questions. The model stated that saving is a certain proportion of national income and net investment is defined as the change in capital stock (K). The model further assumes that there is some direct relationship between the size of the capital stock, (K), and total GNP, (Y). This follows that any addition to the capital stock in the form of new investment will bring about corresponding increase in the flow of national output, GNP. This relationship is known in economics as the capital output ratio. If the capital output ratio is defined as k and assume further that the national savings ratio, s, is a fixed proportion of national output (e.g. 6%) and that total new investment is determined by the level of total savings, we can construct the following simple model of economic growth Balami (2006). Savings (S) is some proportion, S, of national income (Y) such that we have the simple equation S = SY .......................................................................................
