Introduction. Among The Living Writers Of India There Is
Introduction Among the living writers of India there is hardly any parallel to the formidable creative
genius of Bhalchandra Nemade. He is a novelist, a poet and a distinguished critic. The impact of his
original thinking and the force of his powerful argument on the contemporary literary and intellectual
life of India is unparalleled in recent history. His greatest contribution to Indian literary criticism is his
theory of Nativism. As a literary critic he has been passionately advocating it. As a creative writer he
has demonstrated how theory can be brought into practice. Hence his novels like Kosala Bidhar Hul
Jhul Jarilaa and Hindu can be best described as experiments in Nativism. Most of Nemade s critical
ideas have been ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Discussion: Nemade s Attack on Bogus Internationalism Before defining his concept of nativism and
its need in literature and criticism, Nemade comes down heavily on the hollow and bogus
internationalism pursued by Indian writers and critics before and after independence. He admits the
fact of cultural imperialism that hampers our growth as a confident society, nation and culture. ...West
may not be there, but it is very much there in the mind of the East, and that cultural imperialism does
exist. (Nemade, 2009: 10) Nemade expects us to look into our own tradition to form our own
standards to judge the quality of a literary work. He laments the fact that in our times Indian writers
and critics by and large suffer from West worship mania. There is tendency in India to accept all that is
Western as modern, standard and progressive. Such a tendency often leads to blind acceptance of
Western norms in art, literature, culture, politics, media, fashion etc. Funnily enough such a tendency
is mistakenly equated with cultivation of international consciousness. The tendency of West worship
simultaneously leads to looking down upon everything native. As a result those who talk about the
worth and value of things native are branded as regressive and fundamentalists. Nemade makes it
clear that nativism is opposed to fundamentalism. We need to correct our faulty notions of being
modern and international,

Dogs Rule, Cats Drool
Dogs are happy to see you no matter what kind of mood you re in. Everyday when I come home from
school my dog, Nemo, is there to greet me at the door by jumping on me and licking my face. I could
ve had an amazing, miserable, tired, or content day and the jumping still continues. Canines are loyal
friends and the relationship between dogs and humans goes way back. Dogs are better than cats
because they assist humans and show more affection.
Dogs have been domesticated for as long as 135,000 years which makes cats seem fairly new to the
household. Both dogs and cats were originally used for reasons that benefited human work. Now a
days, dogs are far more useful with job skills. When I was little, I used to live outside. Not literally,
but just in the sense that I was an outdoors kind of child. I enjoyed helping my dad with household
projects and was ecstatic when I found out he would build a tree house for me. While he built the
major part of it with dangerous equipment, I put myself in charge of collecting sticks to try and help
my father put it together. Sooner or later, Nemo, my dog, was running back and forth with sticks in his
mouth helping me collect what I needed.
Canines have the ability to serve as seeing eye dogs, firedogs, service dogs or just a playful, loyal
companion. The closer the dog and human s relationship is, the stronger the feelings between them
are. Canines have a talent of recognizing dangerous situation and being there for humans in their time

The Madonn An Ultimate Symbol Of Power
The Madonna: An Ultimate Symbol of Power In Rogier van der Weyden s the Madonna, Mary is
portrayed as a powerful but matronly figure. Mary was hand picked by God to carry the savior, Jesus.
By doing this, God shows his trust in Mary s power to overcome the worldly views of conception
before marriage. Not only was Mary powerful enough to give birth to Jesus, she was brave enough to
take on the daunting task. Mary set an example of the power and internal strength women possess, and
Rogier van der Wyden captured that perfectly in his painting the Madonna.
In the Madonna, Mary is standing tall and proud while breastfeeding the baby Jesus. Her face shows
the glow of a proud mother and confident woman. Mary not only shows power by bringing life into
this world, but also by continuing to feed and nurture Jesus. A woman has the gift to bring new life
into the world, and to keep that being healthy by feeding them from her own body. This work of art
perfectly exemplifies all of the different aspects of what a woman contributes to the human life.
Rogier van der Weyden used key details to show the importance of the two figures in this painting. He
covered Mary with in a long royal colored sheet that those of great prominence would wear. On top of
the royal color clothing, Mary has a crown on her head. He made her long tamed curls a rich and
vibrant color that gives the painting life and excitement. As for the baby Jesus, Rogier painted him
wrapped in a white cloth as a symbol of his

The Electronic Communication Privacy Act, 1986
The Electronic Communication Privacy Act,1986
The Electronic Communication Privacy Act,1986 was initially n amendment of the Omnibus Crime
Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 (Title III) which was also referred to as Wiretap Statute. This was
an act that was intended to stop government illegal access to the private electronic communications.
With the emergence of other means of electronic communication like the internet, there was a growing
tendency of the government agencies to sneak into the information channels of citizens without their
permission. This was due to the fact that the 1968 Act did not cover the electronic mails that were en
route to their final destination. The courts till 2005 declared that this type of communication was not
covered by the 1986 Act. It was until then that the US Court of Appeal reversed the ruling that has
been barring the e mails from being covered under the privacy provision. The above scenario that the
ECPA had to be amended with the argument that all electronic communication has to be temporarily
stored at some given point in time and the argument that there was no any illegality in any interception
before the communication reaches the destination was null and void. The Electronic Communications
Privacy Act (ECPA) therefore gives the clear guidelines to the access, use, interception, disclosure as
well as privacy protection of the electronic communication. This Act covers electronic communication
as well as various forms of

Corruption In Canterbury Tales
A medieval miller was a worker that would grind grain at the mill to produce flour and meal. In
Geoffrey Chaucer s The Canterbury Tales, the Miller is a deceitful man that advances in her career
through deception and tells a fabliau, a comical fable told in verse that is characterized by sexual
obscenity. Fabliaux were generally told by jongleurs, or medieval entertainers. This particular fabliau
is a bawdy tale that discusses a scandalous affair. Through the Miller s description as a thieving and
scheming peasant and the Miller s raunchy tale, Chaucer criticizes the dangerous precedent of
corruption set by the nobility which consequently spreads to all classes due to esteem and success
amassed by corruption and the stereotype of the Third Estate or lower class as lewd and having a lack
of intelligence.
Chaucer s description of the Miller as deceitful and thieving through his appearance and actions
criticizes the upper class tendency to underestimate the ability of the lower class. The upper class is so
consumed with maintaining their image of affluence and looking down on the lower class, they fail to
recognize that peasants can learn to imitate their habits of corruption that lead to immense wealth. The
Miller is depicted as a well built, muscular man who wears a whit cote and a blew hood and has a red
beard as any sowe or fox that would steal from his customers by selling his grain for three times its
worth, yit he hadde a thombe of gold (554,565 566). The Miller

Madonn Madonna Louise Ciccone
Madonna
Madonna was born on August 16, 1958, in the city of Bay City, located in the state of Michigan. Her
real birth name is Madonna Louise Ciccone. However, most people know her as simply Madonna. She
is known as a controversial singer, actress, dancer, songwriter, and became one of America s biggest
and well known stars in the late 1980s. Madonna s assertive behavior, outspoken personality, and
aggressive acts of sexuality, along with her great efforts to push back the borders of the acceptable,
brought her tremendous commercial success in America and abroad.
She achieved the reputation as a forefront performer and entertainer. Before Madonna began her
superstar career, she attended school at the
University of Michigan. Before she even attended college, she was already well talented in the field of
dance. She was so good that she won a dance college scholarship in high school. This was the main
reason she continued onto college.
In the beginning of her college education, she enjoyed going to school on a daily basis. In addition,
she enjoyed learning and meeting new friends.
However, she began to get bored with her college education and her stay in college was brief. Within
the next two years she dropped out of the University of Michigan and decided to pursue a career
elsewhere. She knew that she wanted to either continue in the field of dance or somewhere in the
music industry.
She believed that she had greater opportunities in these careers in a

Analysis Of The Term Captains Of Industry
Thomas Carlyle coined the term Captains of Industry in his 1843 book Past and Present to describe
forerunners in business which had accumulated vast personal fortunes and contributed positively to
the country through some act. Amidst the second industrial revolution in America, names such as
Vanderbilt (Rail), Carnegie (Steel), Rockefeller (Oil), Morgan (Electricity/Finance), and of course
Henry Ford (Automobile) are often lionized for their achievements in building America into a modern
day power. On the contrary, many of these same figures are also considered Robber Barons;
industrialists that routinely cheat investors and consumers, monopolizing activities and perverting
government officials by any means for the exploitation of profit. All that is, but Henry Ford.
Indeed, damaging arguments could be made against the former Edison Illuminating Company
machinist and Ford Motor Company founder, born July 30th, 1863. Religious activists could call Ford
s anti Semitic comments through his ownership of The Dearborn Independent as the fuel to Hitler s
Final Solution. Some allege, although Ford deserves credit for his factories assistance in America s
armament of the Allies in World War II, but he also helped Ford subsidiaries re tool their assembly
lines for the Nazi war efforts in Germany as well. Environmentalists have a strong claim that Ford s
carbon footprint contributions are the root cause of the world s current climate condition. And it is
doubtful Ford s son

Five Dimensions Of Hegemonic Masculinity
In depth interviews and participant observation that were conducted confirm that hegemonic
masculinity exists inside rock genre. There are five dimensions of hegemonic masculinity that will be
explained in this study. First, I will discuss about hegemonic masculinity as a tool to ascertain male
domination as previously said by Connell (1987) and Schippers (2002) that takes form in women s
interest on rock music. This domination renders masculinity as the real rock fan identity (Eastman,
2012). Masculine identity determined by the men causes men to reject or question women who happen
to be in that terrain (Bourdieu, 2001; Yates, 2014). Rejection against women is not only done by men,
but even women do so through judgment towards women who do not display masculinity (Howe
Friedman, 2014). Lastly, women rock fans also concur to this domination (Gramsci in Adams Dickey,
2000). This consent is given by justifying sexist lyrics and continuing ... Show more content on

I wanna see it painted, painted black : Masculinity as the Norm
The previous point has delineated men s roles as a form of hegemonic masculinity. Hegemony
manifests itself in mass media in the form of rigid gender roles (Schippers, 2002). Bennett (2009) later
adds that hegemonic masculinity is needed inside a community as a conformity towards cultural
identity. This point will later elaborate on hegemonic masculinity becoming the identity of a group
which consists of rock fans.
I gathered that women rock fans associated rock genre with men or masculinity. Tolerance towards
men s position inside rock subculture was also shown by opinions of women rock fans regarding their
identity as The Fallen as a metalhead. The Fallen is the catchy name that Avenged Sevenfold fans
from around the world call themselves. Meanwhile, metalhead refers to rock or metal fans in general.
Women rock fans, even those who are heavily invested in Avenged Sevenfold or rock genre as a
whole, were reluctant to call themselves The Fallen or

Ms Anne Bradstreet Analysis
Ms Anne Bradstreet throughout her works and lifetime expressed doubt in the church and miracles
shown in His scriptures. In her first memorial poem written in 1665 the language used in the poem
heavily reinforces the ideals that God has a path for everyone. In this poem Bradstreet writes blest
babe, why should I once bewail thy fate... sith thou art settled in an everlasting state (230). Her words
used here and throughout the poem carry a happy tone. She knows that though this child was deceased
at only a year and a half old, it was God s will and this child was taken for a reason known only to
God himself. Looking at Bradstreet s poems written in 1669 she begins to show her true feelings and
doubts towards His path. It is within these poems

Introduction And Learning Objectives Of Heart Failure
Introduction and Learning Objectives
Heart failure is a debilitating condition, affecting around 1 2% of the UK population (Sutherland,
2010). Its prevalence is rising due to an increase in its risk factors, most notably an increased
population life expectancy (Patient.co.uk, 2014). In the scenario Mr Williams is an obese 65 year old
man, exhibiting numerous symptoms indicative of congestive heart failure. In this PBL write up, I aim
to explore the issues raised, whilst relating them to the pathophysiology of heart failure.
Learning Objectives
Whilst discussing the scenario, our group came up with the following objectives:
1. Define any unknown terms
2. What is heart failure?
3. Explain the signs and symptoms presented by Mr Williams
4. Diagnosis of heart failure
5. Treatment of heart failure
Unknown Terms
We identified pulsus alternans as an unknown term from the scenario.
Pulsus Alternans is characterised by alternate strong and weak beats during a regular sinus rhythm
(Weber, 2003). The systolic pressure can vary up to 50mmHg between beats (Kumar and Clark, 2009).
What is heart failure?
Heart failure is a result of any structural or functional cardiac disorder, leading to an impaired ability
of the heart to pump a sufficient circulation to metabolising tissues (Sutherland, 2010). It can also be
called congestive heart failure , as fluid retention is a common symptom. The main causes of heart
failure are ischaemic heart disease, cardiomyopathy and hypertension

Major Cardiac Circuits
The two major cardiovascular circuits in the human body is the pulmonary circuit and the systemic
circuit. Both of these circuits work together in order to make the body function properly. The major
difference between these two circuits is where the blood travels and what areas of the body the blood
reaches. The pulmonary circuit carries blood to only the lungs which focuses more on gas exchange.
The systemic circuit carries blood to the tissues in the entire body which focuses more on supplying
the tissues with oxygen and nutrients. Another interesting fact that separates these two circuits is the
blood itself and the process that which it flows. At the beginning of the pulmonary circuit, the blood is
deoxygenated. The oxygen poor blood then

The Rime Of The Ancient Mariner By Samuel Taylor Coleridge
Samuel Taylor Coleridge was born in Ottery St. Mary in England and was the last of 10 children. His
father died when he was 9 years old and at that time he was already into fantasy books. He later went
to school in in London and went to Cambridge University. Later in his life he made some
breakthroughs that caused a revolution in poetic style and thoughts. Towards the end of his life he was
troubled with some illnesses but is known for being the poet who established the importance of
imagination in literature. In the poem The Rime of the Ancient Mariner written by Samuel Taylor
Coleridge, there is an old man who tell a story that tells me 3 messages.
The first message from The Rime of the Ancient Mariner by Coleridge is that we have to protect the
innocents from being killed. In the poem they should have protected the albatross from being killed
because the albatross was an innocent bird that some thought was lucky and a sign of good luck. He
prayeth well, who loveth well Both man and bird and beast (lines 612 613) this is saying that animals
are always innocent. Out there are some people who are innocent to and it would be bad if we didn t
protect them because I think some of them would die. We have to keep those innocent people and
animals safe. The old man in this story was kind of cursed from shooting that bird and now has to tell
his story to younger people so they can learn from his mistakes.

Family Traditions For Dysfunctional Families Essay
Family Traditions for Dysfunctional Families In todays world there are at least 1 Billion families.
Which means there has to be at least 1 Billion family traditions. Family traditions can be many
different things but my family traditions all can relate back to dysfunctionalism. There are more
dysfunctional families in the united states than normal families. More than 50% of happiness comes
from dysfunctional families and still, the celebrate Birthdays, Religious Holidays and Casual Holidays
. Can you imagine Holidays being the root of our happiness. What is a dysfunctional family? A
dysfunctional family is where the relationship between the parent and child are strained and unnatural
(Artical 1). Dysfunctional families can range from many different things such as failing to be a
provider for their child or lack of emotional, phychological and/or physical needs. There are also
different types of dysfunctional families. Dysfunctional families can be because of addiction, alcohol,
no emotional support, religious fundamentalism and rigidly dogmatic beliefs, overly possessive
parents and sexaul abuse.
First on the list is Birthday. Every year this day is celebrated with cake and gifts. Sure, this seems
casual but something makes it different. Once the kid reaches 18 whom ever brough them cakes, the
18 year old has to buy them for that person for 18 years. Crazy right? Well that is just the way things
go. Another tradion that we celebrate on birthday is the cutting of the

Credit Cards Disadvantages
There are many banks in the world. They have been offering many services for their users. Among
them, one service is credit cards. They produced many kinds of credit cards such as student card,
everyday card, woman s card, visa card, master card, platinum card, gold card, business card and so
on. Credit cards are very useful in our daily life. It is an electronic payment system. It can use every
time and everywhere. It is a small thing that makes a small plastic card. We can take it easy. Therefore,
we don t need to carry a lot of money. Recent year, credit cards are very popular in Myanmar.
Although there are many advantages for using it, on the other hand, it has many disadvantages.
Nowadays, almost people are used electronic payment cards such as credit card, debit card and so on.
Credit cards are more popular than other electronic payment cards because it not requires saving
money first in the user bank. According to Vera Birukova (26/12/2017), a credit card allows you to
borrow money to pay for things. There will be a limit to how much you can borrow called your credit
limit. At the end of each month you can either pay off the full amount you owe or pay defined
minimum proportion of the bill by a due date. There are many advantages for using it because we can
buy things in another country without having to worry about local currency. We can make purchases
with it on online, can save money for transportation, and can t waste a time. Many credit cards offer
some type of insurance if your purchase is stolen. But there are many disadvantages for using it
because it can take some crimes such as fraud among cardholders. The biggest disadvantage is that
they are inviting cardholders to spend more money that they don t yet have. It is far too easy to spend
more than you can afford using a credit card. Credit cards can be stolen, as can cash. They may be
physically stolen or someone may steal your credit card number from a website, over the phone etc.

Kotter Model Case Study
With the proliferation of threats and uncertainty of the security environment, the role of the army has
become increasingly central in protecting the American interests. Since the realization of this mission
is a collective task, leadership remains the best way to give commanders, at every echelon, the
necessary qualities to lead their Soldiers, maintain focus, and preserve a healthy environment to
ensure the achievement of objectives. The case of the 4th ABCT presents clear evidence in this area.
Three years ago, it was considered one of the best maneuver brigades in FORSCOM. Today, because
of multitude of problems, mainly related to leadership, this unit appears unable to find its identity of
model unit. As new commander, and after identifying the lack of esprit de corps as the main leadership
problem, my vision consist in restoring the 4th ABCT image by using Kotter model with a focus on

cities in the state such as New Haven at 26.4% and at Bridgeport 23.6%, the city of Hartford poverty
level is much higher. Unemployment rate seems to be a big concern for the city being at 14.7%

corporations causing a major problem for people that lack in education finding employment within the

Enlisted Distribution And Assignment System Essay
Enlisted Distribution and Assignment System The Enlisted Distribution and Assignment System
(EDAS) is a great system with minimal hardware and software requirements. The system is simple
and effective at what it does. Competition is scarce and there are very few things that should be
changed involving the technical aspects of the system. The more than 100,000 assignments that are
processed through EDAS annually are vital to the versatility of the Soldiers in the greatest Army the
world has ever known. Server Side Hardware Requirements There is a shift that has been occurring in
recent years to move away from server hardware to cloud computing. As Gallaugher stated, it is
evident in IBM s quarterly numbers (pg 217). The company saw an increase in earnings with a larger
decrease in hardware sales. Though this may be true, there are many services that undoubtedly require
the use of mainframe hardware produced by companies such as IBM. The only available information
about the EDAS Server Side Hardware is that it runs on the USAHRC Data Center Mainframe
(Human Resources Command, 2016). I imagine that this data center is something like the data center
represented by SAP. There is certainly a server room. This room contains some sort of primary and
secondary cooling. The room also contains a power source and in case that source fails, likely a
battery backup to hold interim power while the generators kick on. All of this would be necessary to

Argumentative Essay On Killer Bees
Scientists and Beekeepers Can Make Killer Bees Less Aggressive
People discovered honey since an ancient time and considering it as liquid gold. There are many kinds
of bees that produce honey, and it differs from place to place. One remarkable species is African
honeybee which well known for its ability to produce more honey than other species and survive in
hot climate (Anne, 2006). Evans and Butler(2010) have acknowledged that some species of honey
bees are known as Killer bees or Africanized bees, which are currently living in some parts of South
America and North America, and they started to move northward in the United States. One reason for
naming them Africanized bees is that they were introduced in Brazil and hybridized with European
bees. On the other hand, Killer bees got their name because they are much more defensive than the
other species, they will attack any living creature that is around them and is consider as a threat for
them, sometimes to death (Hodges, 1996).
According to Horn(2006), the Brazilian government tends to focus on beekeeping business since it is a
low cost business, and it does not require a land to work on. The suitable species were African bees
because they produce more honey than their cousin European bees do, and they can live in tropical

for over a century. There is no way for a new entrant to achieve that level of brand awareness and
customer brand loyalty. It would also be impossible for an entrant to compete as an economy of scale
because of the large amount of start up capital it would require to compete. There is also the issue of
technological Know How. As stated earlier Hershey has been doing this sort of business for over a

faces many issues when it comes to substitute products. In the confectionary industry there is a large

everyone around the deceased person. When the link with the deceased breaks, the suffering is so
great, that they put into question the fundamentals of being, of human existence and our deepest
beliefs, affecting significantly the basic family and social relationships.
The process model of coping with bereavement identified two types of stressors related to
bereavement: loss oriented stressors and restoration oriented stressors. Loss oriented stressors are
essentially those that relate directly to the death and the feelings associated with it. These types of
stressors include ruminating on the emotions associated with the deceased, concentrating on how life
had been prior to the loss, and focusing on the actual circumstances surrounding the death. Restoration

Pathetic Fallacy In The Great Gatsby
The Great Pathetic Fallacy Smiling in the sunshine or seething in a storm, setting is simply a stirring
way to set a scene and scrupulously supply significance to a story. In F. Scott Fitzgerald s, The Great
Gatsby, it s easy to understand the atmosphere during important events such as Daisy and Gatsby s
reunion and when Tom confronts Gatsby, this is because of pathetic fallacy. The Great Gatsby uses the
weather to show and emphasise the emotions of the characters allowing the reader to interpret the plot
and mood of important events thoroughly. The weather varies and changes often during Daisy and
Gatsby s reunion, allowing the reader to effectively read the situation and follow the intense emotions
both Daisy and Gatsby are feeling. When Nick invites Daisy to his house as a favor to Gatsby, he
opens the door to Gatsby and states,
Gatsby, pale as death, with his hands plunged like weights in his coat pockets, was standing in a
puddle of water glaring tragically into my eyes. With his hands still in his coat pockets he stalked by
me into the hall, turned sharply as if he were on a wire, and disappeared into the living−room... Aware
of the loud beating of my own heart I pulled the door to against the increasing rain. (Fitzgerald 45)
The increasing rain shows the increasing anxiety Gatsby, and perhaps Nick feels in this situation and
Gatsby standing in the puddle of water shows how his anxiousness is engulfing him. The use of
pathetic fallacy here shows how much Gatsby cares about how this meeting with Daisy will go and
that he fears of a bad reaction to him suddenly appearing. Daisy and Gatsby talk for a while,
afterwards, Nick brings up the weather,
It s stopped raining. Has it? When he realized what I was talking about, that there were twinkle−bells
of sunshine in the room, he smiled like a weather man, like an ecstatic patron of recurrent light, and
repeated the news to Daisy. What do you think of that? It s stopped raining. I m glad, Jay. Her throat,
full of aching, grieving beauty, told only of her unexpected joy (47)
The end of the rain signifies the end of Gatsby s and Daisy s worries, and exhibits their newfound joy.
The pair bond over the now clear skies, or their lack of inhibitions and

Food Pantry Case Study
Michelle Woolley Sauter is the lead designer and owner of One Coast Design Corporation now based
in Summerville, South Carolina just outside Charleston. Since 1995 Michelle has been giving back to
charities close to her heart. Through her efforts of philanthropy during her 28 years in the State of
Florida, she worked in conjunction with local and regional non profit task forces dealing directly with
hunger and homelessness of displaced children throughout South Florida and the islands of the
Caribbean. Michelle launched a Food Pantry within the Safe House and offices of Children s Home
Society, the largest counseling facility and adoption agency in the state of Florida. This was a pivotal
and extremely influential move as now case workers going out to make site visits were able to identify
situations where the only issue for these families was being under resourced. Because needs are
usually delayed due to processing constraints, many families could go without immediately needed
resources such as food and baby items for days. The setting up of an organized Pantry would be a stop
gap measure and needed items would be organized and distributed expediently to these families. ...

Political Action Committees ( Pacs )
Political action committees (PACs) have gained influence throughout political history. However, their
gain of influence does not play a role in their acceptance from political parties. People believe political
action committees influence the legislature. Political action committees raise money for political
campaigns and other political issues. As Elizabeth Drew said, The process by which Congress is
supposed to function have been distorted, if not overwhelmed, by the role of money. The ability of
even the best of legislators to focus on broad questions, to act independently, or to lead has been
seriously impaired. This leads to people believing political action committees influence political
official s views on issues in the government. The increase in political action committees are said to
influence and help the political officials that are going to run for office again, because they want to get
more money from the political action committees for their next political campaign. However, the
supporters of political action committees say they allow average citizens the right to let their voices be
heard in the political process. Another argument political action committees express is the First
Amendment. The people who support certain candidates believe that donating money is an act of
Freedom of Speech. Still many people oppose them. There is a bipartisan consensus on the dislike of
political action committees. It may be said that political action committees are a

Art Angels Analysis
After six years of performing under the name Grimes, Claire Boucher is blasting into the stratosphere
of mainstream pop; her intergalactic, out of this world beats and drastically softened sound made more
palatable for radio on her newest release Art Angels. Swapping out her signature dream pop with
thudding, club beats and more confident sounding vocals, Boucher describes the album s style as
genre less, blurring the lines between all styles of pop. The genre blending album covers a lot of
ground in its 14 songs, and features more live instrumentation than ever before, including piano,
guitar, and violin, all played by her. Much like a Bowie album from the mid 70 s Art Angels has a pop

game changing album...on first listen it falls short, and sounds like she does a total 180 on her
signature style. The beats are more poppy, the vocals are more defined, but Grimes hasn t sold out .
The change of style is evident, when comparing the updated version of REALiTi, from the demo she
shared earlier this year. The track is the best example to show how much she has evolved...... It studio
version is sharper, a thumping beat, sharper vocals and a watered down version of her classic dream
pop, which at some times is non existent. The same could be said for the rest of the songs on the
album. On Art Angels everything is, and is sometimes too,

ustralian groceries market was very fragmented during the 19th century and was typically solely
operated, region specific and served a very small community. Improvements came about in the 20th
century with the development of supermarkets which provided one stop shop for its customers
(Deloitte, 2012). The supermarket and grocery sector is a major contributor to the retail turnover of
Australia, (Alexander) with revenues in excess of A $ 80 Billion in 2013 2014 contributing to a little
over 7% of the economy while the grocery industry alone contributes approximate 20% of that of the
supermarket and the grocery sector. The industry also employs well over 280,000 people (Tonkin,

5 Force Analyses
Internal Rivalry
There is intense rivalry among grocery stores In Australia. As more stores open up regularly, rivalry
determinants has taken in the form of price competition which is undoubtedly the primary form of
competition in this industry where stores are undercutting each other with perks like promotions,
points collecting system and the most commonly seen is by giving generous discounts to consumers
with membership or reward cards.
Stores are also competing in other forms in order to secure loyal customers. Some of the forms are
product range and quality by which stores are offering privately labeled products that are primarily
used in the commodity lines at lower prices.(Australian Government, Department of Agriculture) This
has caused a significant shift in the industry, thus allowing players like ALDI who started with a
private labeled product early on to gain and improve its market share. Another major form is
convenience where several non price factors such as opening hours, strategic locations, parking area,
distribution options (delivery or in store pickup) and online shopping comes into play. (Australian
Government, Department of Agriculture)
An example is when a consumer decides to visit a store; some of the factors a consumer might be
looking for are the store s opening hours, car park and most importantly its location. Taking
Melbourne s CBD area into consideration, we can notice that there are

The Day Of The Family Farm Days
The days of the family farm days are over. For decades, there has been such an exorbitant consumer
demand for pork products. The consumer demand is so high that pork is now a multibillion dollar
industry, Swann (2014). Now the family farm has evolved into what critics call factory farms due to
high consumer demand for affordable meat pork products in the United States (p.43).
This mass production calls for animals to be forced to live in confined spaces and operate a breeding
system for mass production. The system of confinement is a 114 day gestation period in a sow
gestation stall, about two feet wide by seven feet long (p.43).
Although pork producers maintain that their facilities are safe, the Humane Society of the United ...

Animal welfare is looking to decrease the issue of mass production of pork there is also Animal rights
groups, such as People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), advocate for vegan or meatless
diets. Eating animals, they contend, is cruel (p.47).
Those in the business of selling pork have their own argument claiming that they do not mistreat
animals, they even go so far as to claim that they, take great care to feed and shelter their animals
properly. In fact, the pork industry argues gestation stalls are a safer and more nutritional way to raise
sows indoors (p.46). This is a perfect example of managing perception (Moore, 2014). Plato s
Republic and Sir Thomas Moore s Utopia (1516), agree that communication in civic society can be
used to deceive. They assert that there is a moral challenge to deceive and communicate (p.24). Moore
(2014), also asserts that there are similarities between The Republic and Machiavelli s The Prince
(1513), who advise rulers how to manage media to hold onto power by using deceit if necessary,
rather than by cultivating virtue in individual citizens. The pork industry, similar to Plato s philosophy
in The Republic, is a proponent of the abuse of power and a little necessary dishonesty (p,25).
The fact that the pork industry organizations make a profit and collect a small fee for every hog sold in
the U.S. and on imported hogs or pork products, generating about $78 million

Age Discrimination At The Workplace Essay
Mrs. Jeanie Gay Lewis
Age Discrimination in the Workplace
Human Resource Management
Dr. Melissa Mann

1
Introduction
An all encompassing definition for age discrimination in the workplace is the practice of excluding
applicants for hire or promotion based on the age of the individual. Related to the factor of age, age
discrimination is an approach that does not focus on skill levels and job competency, and places
emphasis on the calendar age of the individual.(Fundamentals of Human
Resource Management, 2016)
In today s workplace, employers have to be attentive in staying compliant with an immense number of
laws and regulations. Reducing employment and regulatory risk can be the difference between success
and failure in today s competitive marketplace. Over the past decade there has been a rise of
complaints concerning age discrimination in the workplace. There are many keys to business success,
and focusing on age discrimination and how business needs to be able to differentiate between the
different types of relationships within the workplace.
Types of Age Discriminaton in the Workplace
The different types of discrimination companies may face in the workplace, the legal considerations
and finally developing and implementing a system to manage legal risk from regulatory issues. As
people live and work longer, the older component of the workforce, defined by the U.S. Bureau

Breaking The Garage Door
Have you ever experienced the trouble of a with the spring of your garage door? Stressful right? In
every home a garage door is a very vital part of the house. It has many uses. Some people store their
tools and other materials in the garage. In case the garage door experiences problems their stuff is left
in danger of burglars. Sometimes the doors fail to function until you cannot access your car from the
garage. A door to the garage is not only a security tool for the house, it is like another front door. Pets
and kids like going into the house through the front door. They prefer getting in the house through the
garage door more than the front door. A garage door has over 300 moving parts. It is this parts that
ensure the door of the garage is fully functional and easy to use. One of the major parts that I will

Problems of the Food System Essay
We live in an age in which we have come to expect everything to be instantaneously at our fingertips.
We live in an age of instant coffee, instant tea, and even instant mashed potatoes. We can walk down
the street at 5 in the morning and get a gallon of milk or even a weeks worth of groceries at our
discretion. Even though it is great that food is now readily available at all times, this convenience
comes at a price, for both the producer and the consumer. Farmers are cheated out of money and are
slaves to big business, workers and animals are mistreated. And, because food now comes at a low
cost, it has become cheaper quality and therefore potentially dangerous to the consumer s health.
These problems surrounding the ethics and the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Additionally, big business controls the farmers by capitalizing on widely used commodities. For
example, the company Monsanto which is based in St. Louis, Missouri protects its dominance over the
genetically modified crops such as the soy bean with the use of a patent law. Because of this,
Monsanto s patented genes account for 95 percent of all soy beans and 80 percent of all corn grown in
the U.S., (Associated Press). Although genetically modifying the soy bean crop has made it more
readily available and more sustainable, this comes at a high price to farmers. Monsanto continues to
raise their prices, which forces farmers to accrue even more debt, and there is no sign of the rise in the
seed prices stopping. Since a lot of the farmers are under contract with Monsanto, there is nothing they
can do about this unethical policy in fear of losing their job. If you think being a farmer is bad, try
working in a slaughter house. Knocker, Sticker, Shackler, Rumper, First Legger, Knuckle Dropper,
these are just a few of the positions the workers at a slaughterhouse get assigned to. Simply reading
the names of the above job positions induces a sense of nausea and hints at the inherent brutality that
these positions demand (Schlosser, 172). Because the weight and size of cows are unpredictable, most
of the labor in the slaughterhouse must be done by hand. On the kill floor of a slaughterhouse,

Before networks became extensive, there was no such thing...
Before networks became extensive, there was no such thing as interior and exterior gateway protocols.
A network simply just ran on a generic routing protocol. This eventually ran into problems so Routing
Information Protocol (RIP) was developed and ran as the single routing protocol for many years [1].
As the internet grew, however, this single routing protocol could no longer handle all the traffic.
Because of this, over time numerous other routing protocols were developed to meet the needs of
routing. One of the numerous gateway protocols that were developed was Border Gateway Protocol
(BGP), which is classified as an exterior gateway protocol (EGP).
BGP was developed in January 1989 at the 12th Internet Engineering Task Force Meeting ... Show

This is done by rejecting any routing update in which a local AS number is contained [2]. If a local AS
was accessed and already contained, it tells BGP that the route has already passed through that AS.
Additional routing information is found in below.
To complete these tasks successfully, BGP was designed to run over a reliable transport protocol,
which is why it uses TCP as it is a connection oriented protocol (specifically port 179) [2]. TCP also
allows eliminates the need for BGP to implement explicit update information, retransmissions,
acknowledgements, and sequencing [3].The current version that is being used since roughly 1995 is
version 4. This version introduced numerous new BGP features and extensions to allow it to forward
routing information to the protocol address families IPv4, IPv6, and CLNS [2]. This way the
extensions allow all internet protocols to be valid connecting all networks across the world.
AUTONOMOUS SYSTEMS
An autonomous system is a single routing protocol in a collection of networks with the same routing
policy [4]. It can also be defined as a network controlled by a single technical administration entity.
They are usually under a single ownership and identified by a unique number. Service providers and
enterprise customers such as AT T are examples of an autonomous system. They are used to divide
external global networks into distinct routing domains so that local routing policies can be applied [2].

  • 2. Introduction. Among The Living Writers Of India There Is Introduction Among the living writers of India there is hardly any parallel to the formidable creative genius of Bhalchandra Nemade. He is a novelist, a poet and a distinguished critic. The impact of his original thinking and the force of his powerful argument on the contemporary literary and intellectual life of India is unparalleled in recent history. His greatest contribution to Indian literary criticism is his theory of Nativism. As a literary critic he has been passionately advocating it. As a creative writer he has demonstrated how theory can be brought into practice. Hence his novels like Kosala Bidhar Hul Jhul Jarilaa and Hindu can be best described as experiments in Nativism. Most of Nemade s critical ideas have been ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Discussion: Nemade s Attack on Bogus Internationalism Before defining his concept of nativism and its need in literature and criticism, Nemade comes down heavily on the hollow and bogus internationalism pursued by Indian writers and critics before and after independence. He admits the fact of cultural imperialism that hampers our growth as a confident society, nation and culture. ...West may not be there, but it is very much there in the mind of the East, and that cultural imperialism does exist. (Nemade, 2009: 10) Nemade expects us to look into our own tradition to form our own standards to judge the quality of a literary work. He laments the fact that in our times Indian writers and critics by and large suffer from West worship mania. There is tendency in India to accept all that is Western as modern, standard and progressive. Such a tendency often leads to blind acceptance of Western norms in art, literature, culture, politics, media, fashion etc. Funnily enough such a tendency is mistakenly equated with cultivation of international consciousness. The tendency of West worship simultaneously leads to looking down upon everything native. As a result those who talk about the worth and value of things native are branded as regressive and fundamentalists. Nemade makes it clear that nativism is opposed to fundamentalism. We need to correct our faulty notions of being modern and international, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Dogs Rule, Cats Drool Dogs are happy to see you no matter what kind of mood you re in. Everyday when I come home from school my dog, Nemo, is there to greet me at the door by jumping on me and licking my face. I could ve had an amazing, miserable, tired, or content day and the jumping still continues. Canines are loyal friends and the relationship between dogs and humans goes way back. Dogs are better than cats because they assist humans and show more affection. Dogs have been domesticated for as long as 135,000 years which makes cats seem fairly new to the household. Both dogs and cats were originally used for reasons that benefited human work. Now a days, dogs are far more useful with job skills. When I was little, I used to live outside. Not literally, but just in the sense that I was an outdoors kind of child. I enjoyed helping my dad with household projects and was ecstatic when I found out he would build a tree house for me. While he built the major part of it with dangerous equipment, I put myself in charge of collecting sticks to try and help my father put it together. Sooner or later, Nemo, my dog, was running back and forth with sticks in his mouth helping me collect what I needed. Canines have the ability to serve as seeing eye dogs, firedogs, service dogs or just a playful, loyal companion. The closer the dog and human s relationship is, the stronger the feelings between them are. Canines have a talent of recognizing dangerous situation and being there for humans in their time of ... • 4. The Madonn An Ultimate Symbol Of Power The Madonna: An Ultimate Symbol of Power In Rogier van der Weyden s the Madonna, Mary is portrayed as a powerful but matronly figure. Mary was hand picked by God to carry the savior, Jesus. By doing this, God shows his trust in Mary s power to overcome the worldly views of conception before marriage. Not only was Mary powerful enough to give birth to Jesus, she was brave enough to take on the daunting task. Mary set an example of the power and internal strength women possess, and Rogier van der Wyden captured that perfectly in his painting the Madonna. In the Madonna, Mary is standing tall and proud while breastfeeding the baby Jesus. Her face shows the glow of a proud mother and confident woman. Mary not only shows power by bringing life into this world, but also by continuing to feed and nurture Jesus. A woman has the gift to bring new life into the world, and to keep that being healthy by feeding them from her own body. This work of art perfectly exemplifies all of the different aspects of what a woman contributes to the human life. Rogier van der Weyden used key details to show the importance of the two figures in this painting. He covered Mary with in a long royal colored sheet that those of great prominence would wear. On top of the royal color clothing, Mary has a crown on her head. He made her long tamed curls a rich and vibrant color that gives the painting life and excitement. As for the baby Jesus, Rogier painted him wrapped in a white cloth as a symbol of his ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. The Electronic Communication Privacy Act, 1986 The Electronic Communication Privacy Act,1986 The Electronic Communication Privacy Act,1986 was initially n amendment of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 (Title III) which was also referred to as Wiretap Statute. This was an act that was intended to stop government illegal access to the private electronic communications. With the emergence of other means of electronic communication like the internet, there was a growing tendency of the government agencies to sneak into the information channels of citizens without their permission. This was due to the fact that the 1968 Act did not cover the electronic mails that were en route to their final destination. The courts till 2005 declared that this type of communication was not covered by the 1986 Act. It was until then that the US Court of Appeal reversed the ruling that has been barring the e mails from being covered under the privacy provision. The above scenario that the ECPA had to be amended with the argument that all electronic communication has to be temporarily stored at some given point in time and the argument that there was no any illegality in any interception before the communication reaches the destination was null and void. The Electronic Communications Privacy Act (ECPA) therefore gives the clear guidelines to the access, use, interception, disclosure as well as privacy protection of the electronic communication. This Act covers electronic communication as well as various forms of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 6. Corruption In Canterbury Tales A medieval miller was a worker that would grind grain at the mill to produce flour and meal. In Geoffrey Chaucer s The Canterbury Tales, the Miller is a deceitful man that advances in her career through deception and tells a fabliau, a comical fable told in verse that is characterized by sexual obscenity. Fabliaux were generally told by jongleurs, or medieval entertainers. This particular fabliau is a bawdy tale that discusses a scandalous affair. Through the Miller s description as a thieving and scheming peasant and the Miller s raunchy tale, Chaucer criticizes the dangerous precedent of corruption set by the nobility which consequently spreads to all classes due to esteem and success amassed by corruption and the stereotype of the Third Estate or lower class as lewd and having a lack of intelligence. Chaucer s description of the Miller as deceitful and thieving through his appearance and actions criticizes the upper class tendency to underestimate the ability of the lower class. The upper class is so consumed with maintaining their image of affluence and looking down on the lower class, they fail to recognize that peasants can learn to imitate their habits of corruption that lead to immense wealth. The Miller is depicted as a well built, muscular man who wears a whit cote and a blew hood and has a red beard as any sowe or fox that would steal from his customers by selling his grain for three times its worth, yit he hadde a thombe of gold (554,565 566). • 8. Analysis Of The Term Captains Of Industry Thomas Carlyle coined the term Captains of Industry in his 1843 book Past and Present to describe forerunners in business which had accumulated vast personal fortunes and contributed positively to the country through some act. Amidst the second industrial revolution in America, names such as Vanderbilt (Rail), Carnegie (Steel), Rockefeller (Oil), Morgan (Electricity/Finance), and of course Henry Ford (Automobile) are often lionized for their achievements in building America into a modern day power. On the contrary, many of these same figures are also considered Robber Barons; industrialists that routinely cheat investors and consumers, monopolizing activities and perverting government officials by any means for the exploitation of profit. All that is, but Henry Ford. Indeed, damaging arguments could be made against the former Edison Illuminating Company machinist and Ford Motor Company founder, born July 30th, 1863. Religious activists could call Ford s anti Semitic comments through his ownership of The Dearborn Independent as the fuel to Hitler s Final Solution. Some allege, although Ford deserves credit for his factories assistance in America s armament of the Allies in World War II, but he also helped Ford subsidiaries re tool their assembly lines for the Nazi war efforts in Germany as well. Environmentalists have a strong claim that Ford s carbon footprint contributions are the root cause of the world s current climate condition. And it is doubtful Ford s son ... • 9. Five Dimensions Of Hegemonic Masculinity In depth interviews and participant observation that were conducted confirm that hegemonic masculinity exists inside rock genre. There are five dimensions of hegemonic masculinity that will be explained in this study. First, I will discuss about hegemonic masculinity as a tool to ascertain male domination as previously said by Connell (1987) and Schippers (2002) that takes form in women s interest on rock music. This domination renders masculinity as the real rock fan identity (Eastman, 2012). Masculine identity determined by the men causes men to reject or question women who happen to be in that terrain (Bourdieu, 2001; Yates, 2014). Rejection against women is not only done by men, but even women do so through judgment towards women who do not display masculinity (Howe Friedman, 2014). Lastly, women rock fans also concur to this domination (Gramsci in Adams Dickey, 2000). This consent is given by justifying sexist lyrics and continuing ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I wanna see it painted, painted black : Masculinity as the Norm The previous point has delineated men s roles as a form of hegemonic masculinity. Hegemony manifests itself in mass media in the form of rigid gender roles (Schippers, 2002). Bennett (2009) later adds that hegemonic masculinity is needed inside a community as a conformity towards cultural identity. This point will later elaborate on hegemonic masculinity becoming the identity of a group which consists of rock fans. I gathered that women rock fans associated rock genre with men or masculinity. Tolerance towards men s position inside rock subculture was also shown by opinions of women rock fans regarding their identity as The Fallen as a metalhead. The Fallen is the catchy name that Avenged Sevenfold fans from around the world call themselves. Meanwhile, metalhead refers to rock or metal fans in general. In this poem Bradstreet writes blest babe, why should I once bewail thy fate... sith thou art settled in an everlasting state (230). Her words used here and throughout the poem carry a happy tone. She knows that though this child was deceased at only a year and a half old, it was God s will and this child was taken for a reason known only to God himself. • 11. Introduction And Learning Objectives Of Heart Failure Introduction and Learning Objectives Heart failure is a debilitating condition, affecting around 1 2% of the UK population (Sutherland, 2010). Its prevalence is rising due to an increase in its risk factors, most notably an increased population life expectancy (Patient.co.uk, 2014). In the scenario Mr Williams is an obese 65 year old man, exhibiting numerous symptoms indicative of congestive heart failure. In this PBL write up, I aim to explore the issues raised, whilst relating them to the pathophysiology of heart failure. Learning Objectives Whilst discussing the scenario, our group came up with the following objectives: 1. Define any unknown terms 2. What is heart failure? 3. Explain the signs and symptoms presented by Mr Williams 4. Diagnosis of heart failure 5. Treatment of heart failure Unknown Terms We identified pulsus alternans as an unknown term from the scenario. Pulsus Alternans is characterised by alternate strong and weak beats during a regular sinus rhythm (Weber, 2003). The systolic pressure can vary up to 50mmHg between beats (Kumar and Clark, 2009). What is heart failure? Heart failure is a result of any structural or functional cardiac disorder, leading to an impaired ability of the heart to pump a sufficient circulation to metabolising tissues (Sutherland, 2010). It can also be called congestive heart failure , as fluid retention is a common symptom. The main causes of heart failure are ischaemic heart disease, cardiomyopathy and hypertension ... The pulmonary circuit carries blood to only the lungs which focuses more on gas exchange. The systemic circuit carries blood to the tissues in the entire body which focuses more on supplying the tissues with oxygen and nutrients. Another interesting fact that separates these two circuits is the blood itself and the process that which it flows. At the beginning of the pulmonary circuit, the blood is deoxygenated. Later in his life he made some breakthroughs that caused a revolution in poetic style and thoughts. Towards the end of his life he was troubled with some illnesses but is known for being the poet who established the importance of imagination in literature. In the poem The Rime of the Ancient Mariner written by Samuel Taylor Coleridge, there is an old man who tell a story that tells me 3 messages. The first message from The Rime of the Ancient Mariner by Coleridge is that we have to protect the innocents from being killed. In the poem they should have protected the albatross from being killed because the albatross was an innocent bird that some thought was lucky and a sign of good luck. He prayeth well, who loveth well Both man and bird and beast (lines 612 613) this is saying that animals are always innocent. Out there are some people who are innocent to and it would be bad if we didn t protect them because I think some of them would die. We have to keep those innocent people and animals safe. There are many kinds of bees that produce honey, and it differs from place to place. One remarkable species is African honeybee which well known for its ability to produce more honey than other species and survive in hot climate (Anne, 2006). Evans and Butler(2010) have acknowledged that some species of honey bees are known as Killer bees or Africanized bees, which are currently living in some parts of South America and North America, and they started to move northward in the United States. One reason for naming them Africanized bees is that they were introduced in Brazil and hybridized with European bees. On the other hand, Killer bees got their name because they are much more defensive than the other species, they will attack any living creature that is around them and is consider as a threat for them, sometimes to death (Hodges, 1996). The anguish of death has been considered the deepest anguish of man. Death is the inevitable companion of life, is the final stage. It can occur at any age, suddenly or after a long illness. Despite knowing that someday we will have to die the death of a loved one is a terrible fact, very difficult to accept, that affects everyone around the deceased person. When the link with the deceased breaks, the suffering is so great, that they put into question the fundamentals of being, of human existence and our deepest beliefs, affecting significantly the basic family and social relationships. The process model of coping with bereavement identified two types of stressors related to bereavement: loss oriented stressors and restoration oriented stressors. Loss oriented stressors are essentially those that relate directly to the death and the feelings associated with it. These types of stressors include ruminating on the emotions associated with the deceased, concentrating on how life had been prior to the loss, and focusing on the actual circumstances surrounding the death. • 23. Pathetic Fallacy In The Great Gatsby The Great Pathetic Fallacy Smiling in the sunshine or seething in a storm, setting is simply a stirring way to set a scene and scrupulously supply significance to a story. In F. Scott Fitzgerald s, The Great Gatsby, it s easy to understand the atmosphere during important events such as Daisy and Gatsby s reunion and when Tom confronts Gatsby, this is because of pathetic fallacy. The Great Gatsby uses the weather to show and emphasise the emotions of the characters allowing the reader to interpret the plot and mood of important events thoroughly. The weather varies and changes often during Daisy and Gatsby s reunion, allowing the reader to effectively read the situation and follow the intense emotions both Daisy and Gatsby are feeling. When Nick invites Daisy to his house as a favor to Gatsby, he opens the door to Gatsby and states, Gatsby, pale as death, with his hands plunged like weights in his coat pockets, was standing in a puddle of water glaring tragically into my eyes. With his hands still in his coat pockets he stalked by me into the hall, turned sharply as if he were on a wire, and disappeared into the living−room... Aware of the loud beating of my own heart I pulled the door to against the increasing rain. (Fitzgerald 45) The increasing rain shows the increasing anxiety Gatsby, and perhaps Nick feels in this situation and Gatsby standing in the puddle of water shows how his anxiousness is engulfing him. The use of pathetic fallacy here shows how much Gatsby cares about how this meeting with Daisy will go and that he fears of a bad reaction to him suddenly appearing. Daisy and Gatsby talk for a while, afterwards, Nick brings up the weather, It s stopped raining. Has it? When he realized what I was talking about, that there were twinkle−bells of sunshine in the room, he smiled like a weather man, like an ecstatic patron of recurrent light, and repeated the news to Daisy. What do you think of that? It s stopped raining. I m glad, Jay. Her throat, full of aching, grieving beauty, told only of her unexpected joy (47) The end of the rain signifies the end of Gatsby s and Daisy s worries, and exhibits their newfound joy. Since 1995 Michelle has been giving back to charities close to her heart. Through her efforts of philanthropy during her 28 years in the State of Florida, she worked in conjunction with local and regional non profit task forces dealing directly with hunger and homelessness of displaced children throughout South Florida and the islands of the Caribbean. Michelle launched a Food Pantry within the Safe House and offices of Children s Home Society, the largest counseling facility and adoption agency in the state of Florida. This was a pivotal and extremely influential move as now case workers going out to make site visits were able to identify situations where the only issue for these families was being under resourced. However, their gain of influence does not play a role in their acceptance from political parties. People believe political action committees influence the legislature. Political action committees raise money for political campaigns and other political issues. As Elizabeth Drew said, The process by which Congress is supposed to function have been distorted, if not overwhelmed, by the role of money. The ability of even the best of legislators to focus on broad questions, to act independently, or to lead has been seriously impaired. This leads to people believing political action committees influence political official s views on issues in the government. The increase in political action committees are said to influence and help the political officials that are going to run for office again, because they want to get more money from the political action committees for their next political campaign. However, the supporters of political action committees say they allow average citizens the right to let their voices be heard in the political process. Another argument political action committees express is the First Amendment. The people who support certain candidates believe that donating money is an act of Freedom of Speech. Still many people oppose them. There is a bipartisan consensus on the dislike of political action committees. It may be said that political action committees are a ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Some of the forms are product range and quality by which stores are offering privately labeled products that are primarily used in the commodity lines at lower prices.(Australian Government, Department of Agriculture) This has caused a significant shift in the industry, thus allowing players like ALDI who started with a private labeled product early on to gain and improve its market share. The consumer demand is so high that pork is now a multibillion dollar industry, Swann (2014). This mass production calls for animals to be forced to live in confined spaces and operate a breeding system for mass production. We can walk down the street at 5 in the morning and get a gallon of milk or even a weeks worth of groceries at our discretion. Even though it is great that food is now readily available at all times, this convenience comes at a price, for both the producer and the consumer. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Additionally, big business controls the farmers by capitalizing on widely used commodities. For example, the company Monsanto which is based in St. Louis, Missouri protects its dominance over the genetically modified crops such as the soy bean with the use of a patent law. Because of this, Monsanto s patented genes account for 95 percent of all soy beans and 80 percent of all corn grown in the U.S., (Associated Press). Although genetically modifying the soy bean crop has made it more readily available and more sustainable, this comes at a high price to farmers. Monsanto continues to raise their prices, which forces farmers to accrue even more debt, and there is no sign of the rise in the seed prices stopping. Since a lot of the farmers are under contract with Monsanto, there is nothing they can do about this unethical policy in fear of losing their job. Knocker, Sticker, Shackler, Rumper, First Legger, Knuckle Dropper, these are just a few of the positions the workers at a slaughterhouse get assigned to. Simply reading the names of the above job positions induces a sense of nausea and hints at the inherent brutality that these positions demand (Schlosser, 172). • 33. Before networks became extensive, there was no such thing... Before networks became extensive, there was no such thing as interior and exterior gateway protocols. A network simply just ran on a generic routing protocol. This eventually ran into problems so Routing Information Protocol (RIP) was developed and ran as the single routing protocol for many years [1]. As the internet grew, however, this single routing protocol could no longer handle all the traffic. Because of this, over time numerous other routing protocols were developed to meet the needs of routing. One of the numerous gateway protocols that were developed was Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), which is classified as an exterior gateway protocol (EGP). BGP was developed in January 1989 at the 12th Internet Engineering Task Force Meeting ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This is done by rejecting any routing update in which a local AS number is contained [2]. If a local AS was accessed and already contained, it tells BGP that the route has already passed through that AS. Additional routing information is found in below. To complete these tasks successfully, BGP was designed to run over a reliable transport protocol, which is why it uses TCP as it is a connection oriented protocol (specifically port 179) [2]. TCP also allows eliminates the need for BGP to implement explicit update information, retransmissions, acknowledgements, and sequencing [3].The current version that is being used since roughly 1995 is version 4. This version introduced numerous new BGP features and extensions to allow it to forward routing information to the protocol address families IPv4, IPv6, and CLNS [2]. This way the extensions allow all internet protocols to be valid connecting all networks across the world. AUTONOMOUS SYSTEMS An autonomous system is a single routing protocol in a collection of networks with the same routing policy [4]. It can also be defined as a network controlled by a single technical administration entity. They are usually under a single ownership and identified by a unique number. Service providers and enterprise customers such as AT T are examples of an autonomous system. They are used to divide external global networks into distinct routing domains so that local routing policies can be applied [2]. This simplifies ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
