L’intérêt de l’utilisation d’un tel outil n’est donc plus à démontrer et dont le principal attrait est, pour un étudiant stagiaire, d’éviter de se mettre à mal lors d’une erreur commise en situation réelle. Qui plus est, le fait de « vivre » virtuellement une situation permet également d’enregistrer les comportements et décisions de l’étudiant, lesquels peuvent ensuite être analysés, discutés et réfléchis avec le professeur accompagnateur. De cet échange, découle un développement des connaissances métacognitives sur les propres comportements et les processus décisionnels des étudiants, ce qui se veut assurément un plus.
Le projet spécifiquement visé et que nous nous proposons de développer au sein du Forum TICs 2013 relève donc en la mise en œuvre d’un simulateur auprès du public que nous accompagnons depuis maintenant de très nombreuses années, le Bachelor Educateur spécialisé en accompagnement psycho-éducatif (catégorie pédagogique de la Haute Ecole).
Le but de ce projet serait d’utiliser un simulateur d’environnement virtuel pour permettre aux futurs étudiants Educateurs de s’exercer à des actions éducatives auprès des populations des très nombreux et différents secteurs au sein desquels ils seront amenés à se rendre en stage durant leur Bachelor (professionalisant).
Ceci étant, afin d’optimiser les possibles de ce simulateur (essentiellement d’ordre interractionnels), nous envisageons le recours à une technologie toute récente et relativement démocratique appelée « Leap Motion » qui nous permettra de travailler virtuellement et en 3D.
De l’intérêt d’accompagner stratégiquement les enseignants (et les étudiants) dans l’utilisation des Médias Sociaux pour le développement d’un réseau d’apprentissage personnel et professionnel.
