2. Stagecoach Essay
Stagecoach An Interpretation of Stagecoach
In 1939 John Ford masterminded a classical western film by the name of Stagecoach. This film has
the integrity of a fine work of art. Being that it could be considered a work of art, the impression left
on a viewing audience could differ relying on the audience s demographics. However, it is conceivable
to all audiences that Ford delivers a cast of characters that are built on stereotypes and perceptions
conjured from B westerns that preceded this film s time. Each character is introduced to the audience
in a stereotypical genre, as the film progresses, these stereotypes are broken down and the characters
become more humanized. This is apparent with a handful of characters being ... Show more content on

Her only claim to such an elite profile is her husband, who belongs to the US Calvary. Her
iconography is that of upper class women, nothing more really. She longs for her husband, she too is
arrogant to some degree, and she is despised of things subordinate to her nature. She is revolted Dallas
who is portrayed as a prostitute. She could not even bear to share a meal at the same table with
someone of Dallas s social standing. It is only after the birth of her child that she breaks away from
her stereotype. She realizes the aid and care that she received from Dallas with her newborn and soon
after begins to socially accept Dallas. This is not the last one will see of a character breaking their
stereotypical role.
This brings us to the characters that compose the middle class. These characters are: Curly, Hatfield,
Doc Boone and Peacock. The roles of these characters are not built and manifested throughout the
film. For instance, Curly is introduced as the sheriff out to imprison the Ringo kid. This is in line with
the B men of the justice of the peace. His major concern is to see that the laws of the land are upheld.
He deviates from this role at the very end of this film by letting the Ringo kid go. Clearly this is an
action that is not in line with his law keeping duty. Hatfield, a southern gambler, is really a unique
character. Most B western icons depicted as gamblers are usually shown as hard and

3. Evolution Of American Attitudes And Ideologies Apropos Of...
In this essay I explain the evolution of American attitudes and ideologies apropos of Britain from 1764
to 1776. I do so by, first, beginning with providing the context and explaining the state of the
relationship between America and Britain throughout the course of the years 1764 to 1774, which in
turn, consequently lead up to and instigated the creation of Thomas Jefferson s 1774 piece entitled A
Summary View of the Rights of British America. Next, second, I situate and analyze this very piece,
that being: Thomas Jefferson s A Summary View of the Rights of British America, which is was a tract
written before the Declaration of Independence, in which Thomas Jefferson (under his own personal
authority/discretion) lays out for the delegates of the First Continental Congress a set of grievances
directly against the King of England and his corresponding Parliament, and moreover, ultimately
radically forewarns and threatens specifically the King of England to fundamentally change, alter, and
lessen Britain s stronghold on America or else something will be done on behalf of America. Finally,
third, I reach to and evaluate another subsequent document, that being: the Committee of
Five/Continental Congress 1776 Declaration of Independence, which is a statement written by the so
called Committee of Five (Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Roger Sherman, and
Robert Livingston) and the Continental Congress, which was to be adopted by the newly formed

Raymond Carver, the author of the short story Popular Mechanics, repeats words to influence the
importance of the word and to describe. Carver repeats the word Baby, to show that the story revolves

With this evidence the reader can tell that Carver repeats words to explain the importance of it or to
inform.
Carver frequently repeats the word baby to imply that the story revolves around the baby. The way the
author uses the word baby is mainly in dialogue, both parents repeatedly say I want the baby. To end
the story carver uses the baby as the main subject, because both parents are grasping the baby as tight

I. Abstract
The purpose of this water experiment is to compare two sources of waters and see if they would affect
the growth of beans. For the purpose of this test, multiple samples were implemented to gather results
with as much accuracy as possible. Every two days a study of our beans was conducted. Measuring
the growth/length of each bean. 40 samples were used. The team hypothesized that the water from
Foster Lake would grow plants faster than the water from Kanakadea Creek due to the bio diverse
nature of the lake and its inhabitants. The results gathered show a surprising find in this study.
II. Introduction
Water is the most natural thing we have on earth. It sustains many organisms and those organisms
depend on it almost daily. Plants are such organisms. For this study the focus is the growth of beans.
Over the course of two weeks my team and I conducted research comparing the two types of waters
that were selected and seeing if they had any significant differences in growing beans. The first week
was inconclusive due to bean rot and negligence. Test two led to a more constant observation of
growth and change of location. Results gathered from this experiment have shown a difference that
different waters may have on the growth of plants. Beans that consumed certain water sources

Enviornmental Impact and Financial Burden Chloride deicing agents are the most commonly used
freezing point depression agents. NaCl is the most commonly used because the low cost and high

wildlife, and soil (Buckler and Granato, 1999). The most quantifiable impact is that of the cations and
anions into drinking water and the degradation observed of the environment in the area surrounding

The first factor was in regards to the actual effectiveness of the deicer by examining freezing point
depression and enthalpy of dissolution. In order to examine freezing point depression, different
amount of NaCl were added to water and the change in temperature was measured. The results
showed that as the amount of solute increased, so did the change in temperature. Enthalpy of
dissolution was also examined in an attempt to find whether or not the reaction between a deicing
agent and water would be endothermic or exothermic. NaCl and KCl were both found to be
endothermic, while CaCl2 and MgCl2 were found to be exothermic. Based on the ability to depress
freezing point, and the exothermic reactivity, MgCl2 was found to be the most effective deicing agent.
Impact on the environment was also examined. Although all Chloride based deicing compounds are
detrimental to the environment, much of the problem stems from the amount of cations which seep
into the surrounding area. Under the preceding notion, MgCl2 was found to be the most environmental
friendly as it holds the greatest potential for freezing point depression and exothermic reactivity
amongst the compounds examined. This means that for every one unit of MgCl2 used, significantly
more units of another compound would be necessary. But, due to factors such as humidity, MgCl2 and
CaCl2 are not the choice by state officials as they have potential to

Cleopatra as a Historical Figure
In hieroglyphs, the name reads Kleopadra . It is a name which in Greek means Glory of Her Race

ruling descendant of the Ptolemaic Dynasty, has arguably unparalleled fame as a female historical

Shakespeare s play, Antony and Cleopatra, shows this juxtaposition of the East and West as well,
especially through the characters in the play. The opulence and sensuality of the East is personified by
Cleopatra, whereas the moral solidity and observance of duty is beheld in Octavius. Mark Antony is
torn between the two ideals, his duty as a Roman, and his obvious desire to indulge in the hedonistic
way of the East.
This exoticness of Cleopatra leads to a general view of her, both by the Egyptian and Roman
populace, as having an other worldliness quality about, a strange mysticism. This is reinforced by
Cleopatra s constant referral of herself as Isis, one of the more powerful Egyptian goddesses.
Cleopatra is said to ...have attired herself...that which was supposed... to have been worn by the
mother deity Isis (Weigall, 45). By identifying herself with a goddess, Cleopatra is merely continuing
the custom that the Pharaohs of old used to practice. Isis, whose Latin epithet, Stella Maris, means
Star Of The Sea, is of particular importance to Cleopatra not only because she is an extremely strong,
religious image of feminine power, but she is also often depicted as a personification of the throne
itself, thus

The next great idea was to have GE crops with insecticides. This meant less use of pest control sprays
to keep out the unwanted insects. However, just like the theory of the super weed many insects have
become more tolerable to the insecticides used in the crops like some populations of mosquitos did to
the now banned pesticide DDT. Not only that, but some GE crops with insecticides have already
caused unintentional harm to many non crop damaging insects such as the monarch caterpillars. The
fear is that the pollen from the GE insecticide crops will blow over to a neighboring non GE crop such
as milkweed which caterpillars feed on. If the monarch caterpillars eat the GE crop pollen they will
die. Unfortunately, there is no way to create a toxin that only kills crop damaging insects (Harmful or

Could it be through virtual reality, perhaps even through hypnotism? The answer lies within stories.

us a little bit more detail, The eyes were blue and wide apart, with laughter wrinkles in the corners

19. The Book Of Proverbs By King Solomon
The book of Proverbs is a collection of proverbs, poems, and parables written by King Solomon in
efforts to teach wisdom to God s people. Although I would not deem myself to be an extremely
religious person, I believe I identify with with Proverbs the most because whether you are religious or
not this book of biblical wisdom teaches many moral lessons that can be applied for a better life and
connect with many contemporary issues. This is important on a grander scale as well because as many
people of my generation see the Bible as something that should only be read and applied to your life if
you believe in God, but these verses reveal that they can used to teach you how to live a good life in
this day of age regardless of religious background by looking at the Bible as a literary source instead
of solely just a religious one.
One of the most common contemporary issues today is relationships. King Solomon touches on the
idea of finding the perfect significant other when he states, A wife of noble character who can find?
She is worth far more than rubies (New International Version, Proverbs 31:10). King Solomon is
saying that a woman of good honest character is more valuable than any material object. You could

cheating on you with other men and using you for your money. I closely identify with this excerpt in

We understand that buying costumes can be a tedious task for you as the studio owner. Not only does
it take time to sift through costume catalogues to find a piece that speaks to your dances vision, but
you also need to consider the costs. Costumes can cost upwards of $75 each, which isn t too steep of a

That does not include dancers who are part of the competition team, who can perform an additional 10
dances per season. The worst part about costumes isn t their lofty price tags, it

22. Mental Illness And Self Identity
This issue is relevant because mental illness and self identity are starting to become a popular topic in
our society. People are starting to realize that even though it may be a difficult subject to speak and
learn about, it is important and should be addressed in our society. This issue is important because it
helps people embrace who they are and learn about the issues instead of hating on themselves for
being different and not knowing the real facts about the issue. If we do not learn how to treat mental
illness and accept ourselves, we will never move forward in society and learn how to help others and
ourselves with these topics. By learning more about these topics we can help our society grow, by
discovering new ways to help people with these problems. We could decrease major issues in our
society like mass shootings, and teen suicide. With this topic we can make our society more aware and
inclusive of those with these issues.
Currently, mental health is a major topic in our society with mass shootings and major crises with our
government because everyone says that the shooters were not in a good mental state, which made
them do these terrible things. Self identity is also a current issue among many young people who do
not know who they are and are still figuring it out. Teens who are not yet proud of their individualism

23. Essay on The Cruelty of Slavery and Opression in America
A Call for Action
The United States of America is known for its claims of democracy, equality, and freedom for all of it
s citizens. These claims are the foundation of America s independence and essentially its entire
history. But claims are simply all they were in history. While many achieved equal democracy and
freedom, the African American population of the US was exempt from these inalienable rights and
heavily oppressed by society. The cruelty of slavery and oppression as a whole reached its peak in the
19th century bringing upon the abolitionist movement, which eventually aided in the historic removal
of slavery and the continued fight for equal right of citizenship for African Americans. Of the many

In An Appeal to the Women of the Nominally Free States , Angelina Grimke immediately addresses
all women as her Beloved Sisters , white or black. She establishes her audience right away and
attempts to connect them through the powerful use of the sisterhood mentality. She begins to remind
all women of their important duties in the world and then questions why women are stripped of
political rights and duties solely because they are women, even though they are a crucial part of
society. She goes on to explain slavery as a brutish crime by which man is robbed of his inalienable
right to liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, the diadem of glory, and honor, with which he was
crowned, and that sceptre of dominion which was placed in his hand when he was ushered upon the
theater of creation. (Grimke). Grimke uses this vivid explanation of slavery to connect the oppression
of African Americans to the oppression of women and how women cannot forget that it is their duty to
help their fellow oppressed citizens, regardless of their skin color. She says that it is not only their
moral duty but also their political duty to act as members of The Great Human Family . She then
begins to specifically describe how slave women are

28. Future Choice Analysis
For these criterion, I ranked each of my alternatives accordingly. For tuition, I found that the best
choices for me based on that criteria would be either CU Boulder or Mines. Both of these schools have
generally the same tuition, and both are the lowest out of my choices. The lowest ranked choice is
MIT for this criteria, due to the fact that it is over $70,000 to attend for a tuition year. The other
choices generally ranged from $40,000 $50,000. For the criteria of the size of the campus, I found that
both Colorado School of Mines and Vanderbilt both appealed to me the most. Colorado School of
Mines has a decent campus with under 20,000 students. Vanderbilt in its whole may have many
students, but its College of Engineering is also decent in its size. The lowest rank college is Harvard.
Even though it is a private college, I feel that the size of the campus does not fit well with the small,
inclusive size that I am looking for. The other colleges vary in between with their size, and in all
honest, they are sizes that I am apathetic to. When choosing the colleges that I applied for, I

Fashion Marketing is a way to contribute to the field of the fashion industry s process to success. I
have always seen fashion marketing and communications as an opportunity, appreciation and passion
for fashion and all that it stands for. Jobs within fashion marketing can include; merchandising,
product development and production, trend forecasting, public relations, visual merchandising and
marketing and leadership related positions. A large part of all these jobs is having an understanding for
what consumers enjoy, love and want to spend their money on. For example, label and logo design can
read into what consumers feels a brand represents and may entail. In fast fashion, (having worked with
Forever 21 for over a year myself) it has given me an insight for how a large scale fast fashion
businesses run one store of their many locations around the world. In my generation, social media has
a very large influence on the way people in today s day and age consume clothing. This comes with
the need of a product wanted right away and instantaneously. Consumers are impatient just like all of
us are, we love express shipping, to get the latest trends that released on Instagram, and to wear the
new clothing we purchased the very next day. This is what has lead to the success of the fast fashion
industry. Knowing this, the way fashion is marketed must bring awareness of new media, for
companies and brands to succeed in the future. The people consuming product will contribute

customer complained to management, and the bellman was summoned to a meeting regarding the
complaint. When asked about the complaint, the bellman requested a union representative; however,
he declined to contact one by his own effort. The Bellagio tried to find a union rep, but was unable to

Asking the employee not to speak of a disciplinary matter while it is investigated does not seem to me
to be coercion. The employee might have had ulterior motives for not leaving the premises. While the
court suggested that this is coercion, I would say that it is common sense. Since the bellman gave no
statement, the Bellagio does not know if he is trying to influence a potential witness or simply vent to
a fellow employee. There is also the potential of a customer overhearing his complaint, and that would

Sitting in class, I could not help but look around and notice that everyone else knew what they were

because I did not really understand the lesson the teacher had just finished teaching. I didn t want to
ask a question because it seemed like I was the only one that was lost, so instead, I just sat at my desk
with my head down and pretended to write on my paper. I have repeated this scenario on numerous
occasions. In 5th grade, I was diagnosed with a learning disability which affected the way I learned
and my ability to understand what others around me said. My mom noticed that I was working really
hard to accomplish the same work that other kids my age did with less effort and in a shorter amount
of time. We saw a psychologist who sent me to a specialist who diagnosed me with a learning
disability in central auditory processing, and also had a very weak short term memory. Basically, this
means that my brain processes information slower than the average. Although my hearing is normal, it
takes my brain longer to comprehend what I hear and then process it. Sometimes I miss parts of what
people say because my brain is not able to understand everything that is being said all at once so I
need directions written down or given slowly in order to truly comprehend.

Biomolecules are present in every living organism. Larger biomolecules (macromolecules) consists of

33. Solution-Focused Brief Therapy Theory
Among the three counseling theory for this week study, I identified with Solution Focused Brief
therapy simply because its method is focused on expand the best parts of a client s life rather than the
number of sessions (Henderson Thompson, 2011). Another focus of Solution Focused brief therapy is
seeking solutions for clients problems rather than search for explanations about his or her problems or
how the problem was developed (Henderson Thompson, 2011). In SFBT people s problem result from
behavior based on their view of the world (Henderson Thompson, 2011, p. 317). The solution process
does not have to start with a perfect solution for the client s problem, rather the therapist can provide
the client with a skeleton key . It is a term, created by Steve de Shazer, the leading figure of SFT, that
refers to interventions that work for a variety of problems that fit sufficiently well so that a solution

Executive Summary
This report provides analysis and evaluation of a newly designed wastewater treatment facility for
Sand Valley, Nevada. Analysis will include Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) along with total,
volatile, and fixed suspended solids. Methods for analysis will include the Winkler Test for BOD and a
Hatch test for the suspend solids.
The report finds BOD levels meet the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES)
permit renewal standards. Results for suspended solids shows an opposite trend. Suspended solids
increase throughout the course of the water treatment. This does not meet NPDES standards. Further
suspended solids test will be needed to insure a minimal amount of error. If the same trend continues,
the facility may need to be redesigned to meet NPDES standards.

36. Summary Of To The Virgins To Make Much Of Time
Beginning of the document content. Robert Herrick s To the Virgins, to Make Much of Time depicts
life as a fleeting moment in which people must not take advantage of. His observations of nature with
references to tomorrow and not losing your prime indicate his strong belief in living every day as if it
were his last. While there have been numerous poems pertaining to living life to the fullest, Herrick
captures this message with such delicacy and precision, it sets it apart from every other one of his
pieces. This poem is a carefully constructed poem expressing essentially a simple sentiment. It says
what it wants with extraordinary technical proficiency, yet without sacrificing the centrality of its
message. Old Time is capitalized to personify time itself. This gives the effect that if time were a
person, his age would grow and grow yet his influence on everything around him never fades. Herrick
also personifies flowers by writing how one day they smile, and the next they are dead. This fleeting
sense of imagery buttresses Herrick s overall theme of seizing the day. The flowers smile instead of
grow or sway in the wind; this indicates that Herrick purposefully chose to label these as soft creatures
that anyone can relate to. The comparison of a smiling flower against the thought of death is jarring to
an audience. This makes whoever is reading this piece take a step back and initially recognize Herrick
s point. Likewise, by personifying the

Alcohol advertising is abundant globally. It is vital that adolescents are to be raised in a positive and
healthy setting. Particular consumer segments are considered to be more subtle towards the negative
impact of advertising (Morgan, Schuler and Stoltman, 1995). Due to the new social networking
technologies exist today and the various way of advertising, it is not surprising that adolescents are
exposed to alcohol advertising as direct promotions are easy and voluminous. A large number of
research have been performed regarding the effect of alcohol advertising and marketing on the
drinking of adolescents is highly debated globally (Smith and Foxcroft, 2009). Regardless of most
statistics indicating that alcohol advertising relates to the higher consumption of alcohol, early
commencement of drinking and the positive eagerness among adolescents, advertisements with youth
friendly attributes as well as new alcohol products are remitting by alcohol companies. This paper
analyses the research methodologies used in selected previous literatures to conduct their research
regarding the effect of alcohol advertising on adolescents. Accordingly, the limitations for the
methodologies used in the selected articles are discussed. Consequently, this paper further suggests a

Today, there are almost 11 million immigrants, living illegally in the U.S., creating a massive problem
for the U.S. government. What could be a possible new immigration policy? For the past several
years, the government has been seeking a solution to this difficult task, yet the issue still remains
unsolved. Groups like the Task Force, and even former U.S. President Bush proposed different ideas
pertaining to change in the U.S. immigration policy, which can be compared and contrasted to a
recently proposed Option 5. First and foremost, there were many similarities between the ideas
suggested by Option 5, the Task Force and President Bush. It was agreed between the groups that,
despite numerous problems pertaining to the immigrants, the vast majority of them are people who
came to America to work hard to support their families, practice their faiths, and lead responsible
lives. For that reason, all three groups believe that a temporary work permit program would greatly
benefit both the illegal immigrants and the U.S. government.
The ideas of each group were comparable, in terms of giving the immigrants an option to apply for
temporary visas or green cards. This option may solve the major problem with illegals trying to sneak
across the Mexico border, and encourage them to take the proper route into America. The temporary
work permits will provide low wage employees for employers in America, to fill in the gaps that no ...

39. A Brief Note On Unemployment And Minimum Wage Essay
Unemployment and Minimum Wage Both the microeconomics and the macroeconomics theories
dictate that an increase in the minimum wage will directly impact the rate of unemployment by
shooting upwards. As of the moment, there is a heated debate on whether the Congress should pass a
bill that seeks to increase United States minimum wage. The consequent change will eventually have
both positive as well as negative impacts on various economical aspects particularly unemployment.
As for this paper, the focus will be narrowed down to examining the link between minimum wage and
unemployment rates across states and also highlighting the current state of unemployment in both Los
Angeles and Seattle. In reference to microeconomic theory, the bare minimum wage is considered the
price level on top of the equilibrium that is set by the demand and supply curve. A slight increase in
the minimum wage greatly impacts the quantity of workers supplied in the economy by significantly
increasing due to the initial heave of interest to enroll in the workforce. Similarly, there will be a
decline in the quantity of demanded labor given that the marginal labor cost will directly increase as
the minimum wage increases. As a result of the increased quantity supplied and the subsequent
decrease in demanded quantity, there will be a creation of labor surplus in the workforce, culminating
in the increased rates of unemployment. With an increase in the minimum wage on top of the normal
equilibrium in the

Caused by a controlled release of water, a boat rescue of one family in the neighborhood close to the
Barker reservoir found a distraught mother who made this statement: They have to do what they had
to do. Accordingly, managers use six steps to decision making to affect organizational performance.
Fundamentally, these six steps are especially critical as these decisions will affect human lives. In
Texas, August 2017, hurricane Harvey became a life threatening, catastrophic event as it dropped

C. Do nothing and hope the dams do not break. However, this alternative will have devastating effects
on millions of Texans who are not already living within flood ravaged areas.
4. Among all the alternatives, I chose option B; a controlled release of water from the Barker and
Addicks dams to prevent flooding in the city of Houston and surrounding areas.
5. Implementing this plan requires that all people evacuate the areas affected by the release of water
from the levees, then, direct the controlled release towards those areas that are already flooded.
6. Establish a procedure for feedback from within and outside of the organization, including;
management, employees, local and federal officials, and residents. This procedure will include the
following important steps:
Compare what actually happened to what was expected to happen as a result of the decision.
Explore why any expectations for the decision were not met.
Derive guidelines that will help in future decision making. (George Jones, 2017, p. 174)
In the end, this decision making process is one that places loss of life at the forefront of the most
important factors to consider. Ultimately, rather than risk a devastating dam break in the middle of
hurricane Harvey, the best alternative is to make a controlled release of water. Thus, after generating
possible alternatives, as well as, assessing each one for legal, ethical, economical, and practical

Generally, the quizzes will be mainly based on facts and memoization, while the tests are based more
on analysis and application. The IBET Paper: DO NOT TAKE THIS LIGHTLY OR YOUR GRADE
WILL SUFFER. You will take an L for the first assignment. Everyone did, this is just a wakeup call
telling you that you cannot BS this paper and APA formatting matters a lot. Pick a topic that you have
genuine interest in. This year, almost everyone got inconclusive results and it was a hot mess. At least
to us, the teachers and other adults thought it was pretty great. Anyways, never procrastinate until the
last minute on this paper, it will show and you re end up with a 9/15 or some other unsavory grade. If
someone is slacking off in your group don t be afraid to

(D1) Evaluate the influence of government on factors that contribute to the current patterns of health
and illness in the UK
Over the course of the last 50 years in the UK the government (England, Wales, Northern Ireland and
Scotland) have made a great effort in order to improve the overall health of the general population in
the UK. This has been achieved through the use of making the general population more aware of the
dangers to their health and what they are along with they can do in order to improve it, thereby
making better informed decisions in regards to their health when it comes to things such as diet, road
safety (driving), exercise, smoking and education.

However the government have not just been attempting to raise awareness about the effects of drink
driving but also putting in place stricter measures for offenders so that people are deterred even more
from driving whilst they are under the influence of alcohol. At present the maximum penalty for being
caught drinking and driving is a £5000 fine, a ban on the individual s driving licence and 6 months
imprisonment. If the individual causes a road collision whilst they are under the influence of alcohol
and cause a fatality, they can be sentenced to a maximum of 14 years in prison. Apart from the
initiatives in place to prevent drinking and driving, there have been other government initiatives used
in order to stop people from using their phones when they are driving, to wear their seatbelt whilst
they are driving and to prevent road rage by raising awareness.
In the 21st century obesity within the UK was starting to become a major concern, after the issue of
smoking had been dealt with. In order to get a handle on the growing problem of obesity, the prime
minister at the time released a new piece of legislation otherwise known as Choosing Health: Making
healthy choices easier . This piece of legislation was designed with the

44. The Heat Transfer Coefficient For The Double Pipes Heat
Purpose:
The objective of this lab is to find the heat transfer coefficient for the double pipes heat exchanger in
order to determine the best configuration for the double pipes heat exchanger.
There are 4 possible configuration of the double pipes heat exhangers Cocurrent with variable flowate
of cold stream while keeping hot stream flowrate constant. Cocurrent with variable flowrate of hot
stream while keeping cold stream flowrate constant. Counter current with variable flowrate of cold
stream while keeping hot stream flowrate constant. Counter current with variable flowrate of hot

45. Challenges Facing Law Enforcement Agencies Essay
In this writing assignment I will explain some greatest challenge facing law enforcement agencies
today. I will describe how the local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies can interact and
accomplish their goals. I will also suggest some programs that will help improve their relationship.
Identify some of the challenges and solution in the overlapping of jurisdictions pose when combating
cybercrime. Discuss why I believe law enforcement in different states should work with one another in
when fight cyber crime.
There are a number of challenges that law enforcement agencies are facing like investigating internet
exploitation, cyber stalking, and obscenity. Other challenges are overlapping of agencies, the lack of
funding, and investigating exploitation, cyber stalking, obscenity, and the specific challenges with
overlapping of jurisdictions. I think the greatest challenge they face has been investigating
exploitation, cyber stalking, and obscenity is issues with evidence and detection. The fact that data on
the computer can be deleted, modified, or destroyed can hinder the investigation process. The nature
of the evidence makes it difficult to investigate cybercrime. Because digital evidence is a collection of
numbers that are fragile and can be lost, damaged or changed. It is always important to protect and
maintain the chain of custody but the nature of the evidence makes this daunting task very difficult. It
is very easy for investigators to contaminate the

46. Persuasive Essay On Online Bullying
In today s progressive world, I believe it is better to consider online bullying in an immersed online
ethnographic research method, in order to fully understand how bullying is enacted in an online world.
It s also important to take this approach in order to understand what s misunderstood about online
bullying as a whole. Boyd (2010) states that if we are to know if online platforms act as a tool for
teenagers to perpetuate violence in the real world , we must look at what they are doing online. Boyd
finds that bullying does not dramatically go up or down when social media is introduced (Boyd 2015,
152). Digital spaces that are important in the lives of youth need to be understand both locally, and in
global contexts. Mallan, Ashford and Singh s (2010) article discusses iscapes as a way for todays
youth to hang out or communicate. The authors seek to answer the question, how do interactions
across iscapes affect the identity work carried out by today s youth. ( Mallan et al. 2010, 265).
Decheneaut et al. (2010) looks at an immersive ethnography in several online digital worlds. Bonilla
and Rosa state boldly that by using social media as their platform, subscribers can demand public
attention, and garner the attention from anthropologists by using hashtags (Bonilla et al. 2015, 5).
Technology changes how bullying is acted out, furthermore we consider online ethnographic
fieldwork in relationship to bullying as a real and viable part of anthropological studies.
