How Free Government Grants Loans Are Available For People...
Free government grants loans are available for people who are in real need of money to fulfill their
needs. The recent economic recession has left most of the people in financial crisis and whether it is
business or house repair work, they need financial help to get these needs accomplished. Many people
either somehow manage with the deficits or look for some financial help. Nearly everyone out of these
is not in a position to repay the loans and so they hesitate to go for those options. There are various
government grants available for different needs and those who are aware of this opportunity, they
apply and try to get it. It is not easy to get the government grant money and you need lot of
preparation and make sure your timing is accurate. The main reason behind this is that most of the
grants are on first come first serve basis so as soon as you find that the grants suitable for your needs
are available, you should apply for them. Apart from this there are funds available through some
private and non profit organizations also which people can make use of. Free government grants loans

Should Therapeutic Cloning Be Banned
There are two sides to the topic of cloning. One side believes it is unethical and should be banned. The
other side believes the benefits and possibilities outweigh the problems. The two most controversial
types of artificial cloning are reproductive cloning, and therapeutic cloning. Reproductive cloning is
the use of cells from a host to create a whole new genetic copy. Therapeutic cloning is the use of
embryonic stem cells to create tissue to replace damaged tissue and whole organs. The ethical
concerns with cloning didn t become a problem until Dolly, the sheep, was created. Many years before
Dolly very similar experiments were being performed; however, those experiments did not spark
much public concern regarding cloning. Over fifty years ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Animal protection agencies are questioning the many health problems that come with cloning. As
mentioned before, cloning causes many problems in the cloned animal and the host mother. People
that are against cloning also bring up the costs of cloning. For example the cloning of a deceased pet
may cost upwards of a hundred thousand dollars. However, most of the controversy with cloning is the
ethical side of cloning. Many religious groups believe that scientists are playing God by producing
unfertilized embryos(Hinrichs). They believe that certain areas, such as the creation of life, should be
left up to divine control. People may find that therapeutic cloning could be found unethical and
controversial, because of its possible use as alternate

Goals And Value Chain Analysis Of Dunkin Donuts
Dunkin Donuts Value Chain Analysis Even though Dunkin Donuts is an international business, each
individual store has its own set of goals and missions to achieve success. This is also known as the
value chain, which is the process or activities by which a company adds value to an article, including
production, marketing, and the provision of after sales service. (Oxford) After observing and working
for Dunkin Donuts, the business success is primarily based off the happiness of their loyal customers
and smooth teamwork of their employees. This particular Dunkin Donuts on Western Avenue in
Peoria, Illinois is faced with a lot of challenges, but with the right approach to these challenges can
make their business even more successful. A mission statement is a formal summary of the aims and
values of a company, organization or individual. (Oxford) Mission statements are important in
business because it can be used to determine a company s short and long term goals. Intelligent
business owners use mission statements to remind its employees why the company exists and how the
company will be or continue to be successful. Dunkin Donuts mission and vision statement is simple.
It is to deliver high quality food and beverages quickly, affordably and conveniently in a welcoming

happy, resulting in repeat customers. Word travels fast and so does the coffee, with that in mind.
Keeping customers happy and meeting their needs will keep this business striving. Strengths,
Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats, also known as SWOT, is apart of every business. Businesses
must embrace and adapt to SWOT in order to make them successful. This could be by taking
constructive criticism through surveys by customers or changing things based on statistics. SWOT is
how a business will either fail or prosper, and good businesses know how to use it to their advantage.
Dunkin Donuts has strengths just because of their name and

Chapter 6: A Tour of the Cell
Concept 6.1 Biologists use microscopes and the tools of biochemistry to study cells 1. The study of
cells has been limited by their small size, and so they were not seen and described until 1665, when
Robert Hooke first looked at dead cells from an oak tree. His contemporary, Anton van Leeuwenhoek,
crafted lenses and with the improvements in optical aids, a new world was opened. Magnification and
resolving power limit what can be seen. Explain the difference. Magnification is the ratio of an object

The nuclear lamina, a netlike array of protein filaments, connects the layers of the nuclear envelope.
12. What is the nuclear lamina? Nuclear matrix? The nuclear lamina is the netlike array of protein
filaments that maintains the shape of the nucleus by mechanically supporting the nuclear envelope.
The nuclear matrix is a framework of protein fibers extending throughout the nuclear interior. The
nuclear matrix and nuclear lamina may help organize the genetic material so it functions efficiently.

Found within the nucleus are the chromosomes. They are made of chromatin. What are the two
components of chromatin? When do the thin chromatin fibers condense to become distinct
chromosomes? Chromatin is composed of proteins and DNA. Chromatin fibers condense to become
distinct chromosomes as a cell prepares to divide.
14.
When are the nucleoli visible? What are assembled here? Nucleoli are visible in a nondividing nucleus
and in cells active in protein synthesis. Within the nucleoli, proteins imported from the cytoplasm are
assembled with rRNA into large and small subunits of ribosomes.

What is the function of ribosomes? What are their two components? Ribosomes are the cellular
components that carry out protein synthesis. Their two components are a large subunit and a small

Distribution Of Rite Aid Pharmacy
Rite Aid Pharmacy is aiming to make itself as a cost leadership company in the national drug retailer
industry. The cost leadership strategy focuses on focuses on lower cost and differentiation than their
competitors (Barney Hesterly, 2012). Businesses using the cost leadership strategy focuses on making
lower prices and can still make a satisfactory profit. The cost leadership can charge a lower price but
can still make about the same amount of profit with its competitors. Rite Aid has been successful in
implementing this strategy. In 2006, Rite Aid introduced their retailer annual Management conference

the store as well as change to the exterior of the store to look warmer and included a covered drive

The interior of the pharmacy was to include wider aisles and nicer waiting areas for customers. At the

Unit 1 Health And Social Care Essay
For this unit we have been looking at communication is all its vast ways. We have been studying the
environmental factors and barriers that can occur in health and social care settings. For this task I have
been asked to explain those factors that influence communication and interpersonal interactions in
health and social care environments and to also look at the negative barriers to communication.
Environmental Factors * Noise * Setting * Lighting * Seating * Space * Time Noise In a health and
social care setting such as a Hospital, noise would be appropriate to drown out the sounds of private
conversations. For example, if a receptionist was speaking to a patient about an issue regarding their
health, they ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
These are all factors that increases the effectiveness of the session, keeping it therapeutic of course.
Balancing time is key, and if this is done correctly, this will be a positive factor. When dealing with
children in a nursery, teachers need to keep accurate pace of time with the amount of activities done in
the day. Children loose interest very quickly and are easily influenced by other peers, so its very easy
for one child to break the circle of concentration. Making short, captivating activities that are both
educational and fun are the most effective ways of keeping children busy. These need to be controlled
by time, because if they are being taught for too long, they will loose interest. This is a negative factor.
Seating In a nursery, children come together for activities and sit with each other on tables to do
colouring or work, etc. If the seating is too far apart, communication will not be effective as the
children won t be able to hear what the teachers are saying. They may also not be able to hear
themselves talking to each other. group work would be almost impossible being so far away. This is
partly to with the control the teachers have over the children, but seating placement is key, and needs
to be organised correctly. This is a negative factor. When patients visit the sexual health clinics for
check ups or to collect results, it can be a little embarrassing to

Compare and contrast the two main figures of the European...
Napoleon s tragedy was that his ambitions surpassed his capacities; Bismarck s tragedy was that his
capacities exceeded his society s ability to absorb them. The legacy Napoleon left for France was
strategic paralysis; the legacy the Bismarck left for Germany was unassimilable greatness (statement
made by Henry Kissinger) is in my opinion a correct statement. This statement can actually be
separated into two parts. The first parts relates with the capacities, ambitions and successes of
Bismarck and Napoleon. The second part is about the final result of their reign and how their reigns
could be taken over after such changing of Europe.
Bismarck main objective was to bring together the German states and to form a powerful great

He wanted to create division in Europe, therefore he created crisis here and there, but couldn t control
the outcomes afterwards! Time and again, he would encourage a crisis now in Italy, now in Poland,
later in Germany only to recoil before its ultimate consequence (P.107 Kissinger) or Napoleon made
himself the prisoner of crisis he had himself engineered (P.107 Kissinger). Those crises would finally
result in Italy and Germany as Unification and new difficulties for Napoleon to cope with. His foreign
affaires always came out to be failures and to finally work against him.
Napoleon destroyed by many ways all the other alliances that were made between France and other
great powers, by supporting conflicts that wouldn t even benefit France. He supported the Italians in
the war against Austria, this laid to Italian Unification which made one more power to deal with
afterwards. He finally concluded an armistice with Austria ... without informing his Piedmontese allies
(P.111 Kissinger), creating hatred among the Italians towards his country. Austria was considered by
Napoleon as repugnant , therefore he wouldn t try to collaborate with them: As a Bonaparte,

repeatedly annoying. Napoleon alienated Great Britain by annexing Savoy

10472 Zip Code
The most recent census data available for the 10472 zip code area is the 2014 American Community
Survey. The 10472 zip code is located in the Soundview section of the South Bronx. This zip code
covers the northern area of Soundview, before the Bruckner Expressway. It is part of New York s 15th
congressional district, it s known for being the smallest and poorest congressional district in the US.
The 15th congressional district makes up for the majority of the Bronx, for this reason some of the
information presented will be compared to the Bronx borough and 15th congressional district census
data.
The demographics of Soundview residents has changed over the course of its existence, a trend that
occurs for New York City neighborhoods. The Bronx River is at the eastern borders of Soundview,
making a great settlement for its first dweller. The natives of the area were the Siwanoy tribe, they
were settled along bodies of water near New York City (Jackson, 1995). Therefore, the tribe settled
near the Bronx River up until the area became a point of interest for Dutch and English colonization
(Jackson, 1995). There was a constant struggle for the area, and the tensions led to the Siwanoy leave

Micro Suites As A Solution To Vancouver’S Housing Problem.
Micro Suites as a Solution to Vancouver s Housing Problem Bienvenue à Vancouver, where people
meet unrealistic housing and living costs. It is no secret that Vancouver s housing issue is blowing out
of proportion due to the demand for more affordable housing units. The problem is not a question of
production, but the type of housing that is being supplied (Gold, 2016). However, this would take a
great deal of time and nationwide discussion amongst lawmakers and the government to solve. While
the nation is busy talking about the housing problem of Vancouver, some developers and innovators
propose to adopt the idea of micro suites to help solve the issue. Micro suites, micro apartments, micro

This may be a reflection of how designers have shaped spaces to meet how people nowadays live.
According to the City of Vancouver s zoning and development by law, no more than one person shall
occupy a micro dwelling and it must have a floor area of at least 29.7 sq. m. or 319.69 sq. ft. Because
of these numbers mandated by the City of Vancouver, Vancouverites are not expected to be
experiencing to live in smaller conditions. However, places like Japan, Hong Kong, New York and
San Francisco have micro dwelling units smaller than 320 sq. ft, which shows that there are people
who are willing to live the micro life and make the community around them into their extended space.
According to Sam Baron, 29, who has lived in a 248 sq. ft. space for two years, states that the space
was comfortable, functional, and allowed him central access between his work and school (Bellett,
2015). However, some studies show that there are dangers in living in a confined space and how micro
living is really not for everyone. Developers, in theory, design and build these homes to market to the
single young professionals who spend most of their day outside of their homes. This is assuming a sort
of stress free, constantly healthy young person. Someone who loses their job or is ill, or breaks up
with their girlfriend, or whatever might find this situation confining and depressing (Proctor,

Some ways that the paleolithic societies differed from one another were by their religion, ruling,

domesticated animals. Thus leading to the hunting and gathering society. This particular society

The Growing Epidemic Of Childhood Obesity
Introduction The United States has seen childhood obesity rates double in children and increase four
times in adolescents since the 1980 s.1 The Center for Disease Control reports that in 2012, over one
third of children and adolescents were considered obese or overweight.1 There is an urgent need to
address the growing epidemic of childhood obesity, as obesity has been shown to have deteriorating
immediate health effects and increase the risk of chronic disease such as diabetes, osteoarthritis and
cancer in adulthood.1 Although there are many influential factors in a child s weight, nutrition is one
of the main ones to consider, as a complete and balanced diet also promotes healthy growth and
development.2 Research indicates that school encompasses a significant portion of a child s time,
cognitive, physical and social development, and as such, has the responsibility to promote a healthy
lifestyle for children.3 Because of the nationwide concern surrounding childhood obesity, recent
federal wellness policy for public schools mandate that nutrition education, physical activity and other
wellness promoting programs must be part of the school environment.4 The purpose of this review of
literature is to evaluate if school nutrition is one of the major contributors to childhood obesity and
how policy changes have affected the problem. In 2005, the US government made a long lasting
impact in the public school system when legislation aimed at providing nutritional guidance

Garden State Essay
Garden State by Pipsorcle
Andrew Largeman s (Zack Braff) journey throughout quot;Garden State quot; seems to be a testament
on the meaning of liberation. Going from his struggling acting life in Los Angeles to his hometown in
New Jersey, where he witnesses his mother s funeral, Andrew is in the mist of confronting difficult
issues. One of the biggest issues is coming to terms with his psychologist father (Ian Holm), whom he
has distanced himself from for many years because he has put him on powerful antidepressants for
most of his life. The reason for this I will not reveal but it has caused Andrew to feel as if his father
has controlled his life in a way.

Andrew isn t the only one dealing with complicated issues. Mark (Peter Sarsgaard), one of his friends
from high school, has high ambitions but unfortunately, his constant use of pot smoking has lowered
his motivation and instead works as a grave digger.
The center point of this film is when Andrew meets Sam (Natalie Portman), a free spirited girl who
even has psychological problems of her own, not to mention a bad habit of compulsively lying. How
the two s relationship grows in the film is more focused on their conversations and adventures than
focusing on the love situations. It s a great relief that Zack Braff chooses to wait on the intimate
moments and focus on what draws Andrew and Sam together. There are moments in quot;Garden
State quot; that appear as if they might progress into sexual situation but Braff as a director is more
patient than that. If you might recall in the trailer, there s a distant long shot of Andrew and Sam by
the fireplace. Usually an image like involving a couple might lead to a romantic moment but it s much
more than that. It s less focused on body contact and more on comfort.
In noting that, it is pleasing that Zack Braff allows his actors to perform in a more natural way, instead
of the usual strain which can lead to theatrical acting. Natalie Portman, for

Play And Literacy
The thought of school and play don t generally belong in the same category. Although people don t
find play important in a classroom, play is very important especially in the early childhood setting. In
early education classrooms students begin exploring, experimenting and mastering the beginnings of
numeracy, literacy and even science. While children are talking and playing with one and another they
are learning those concepts. Oral language and written are spread throughout classrooms. When
talking is not an occurrence in the classroom students are listening to directions, identifying their
cubbies, cleaning up and responding to questions which is all considered play.
In order to meet the academic requirements play does not need to be nonexistent in the classroom.
According to research play, high quality play can and does have a huge advantage on the development
of their literacy and language skills. One of the greatest effects on the development of literacy and
language is dramatic play. Being able to have the usage of multiple props and objects, roles and
themes as well as being able to create a scenario is one of the best ways to provide and allows students
to practice language as well as literacy. In order to promote the levels of language and literacy all
elements need to be present to the students in the classroom. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

The Book Of Mormon Analysis
There is a power that lies in each of us, a flame that burns so bright. Yet, it is only unlocked as we
search, ponder and pray. But about what you may ask. The answer may come as a surprise to some, or
may hit home for others. We each must Search, Ponder and Pray about The Book of Mormon , about
The Prophet Joseph Smith, about the truthfulness of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
As we come to gain a testimony we can fuel that fire that burns with in our hearts. We can increase our
faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and receive that comfort and direction, that we all are so desperate for.
We can come to know for a surety that these things are true and really will bless our lives.

Watching Milo Murphy s Law

since there are many jokes and easter eggs hidden in Milo Murphy that date back to Phineas and Ferb.
But, just three episodes in, I began to devise a theory. Maybe it s too early in the show to tell, but I
have a pretty bold theory, and I m prepared to back it up.
My theory: Melissa Chase is Candace s Sister
At first glance, this theory seems impossible. So rather than try to explain my theory all at once, I ll

Flynn is her maiden name. She was married to someone with the last name Chase, although she did
not change her last name (which is not uncommon). During her marriage, she had three children,
Candace, Mellissa, and Phineas. Once she got divorced, she remarried to Lawrence Fletcher, who was
the father of Ferb. The reason we never see Mellissa with her family, is that Linda and her first
husband have worked out and agreement to allow Mellissa to visit with her father during the summer.
But if this is true, how come Mellissa s last name is Chase, and not Flynn? I think she goes by Chase,
because she doesn t want to be immediately associated with Phineas and Ferb. We ve already seen
throughout the Phineas and Ferb series that Phineas and Ferb are known all throughout town as the
coolest kids ever. I think Melissa uses her former last name as a way to not be immediately associated
as just Phineas and Ferb s older sister.
Argument 2: Why would there be any reason to assume that the two are sisters?
Well, if you look at their pictures, you ll see what I mean.

Traditional Medicine Versus Western Medicine
Traditional Medicine Versus Western Medicine
From an Indigenous person of Canada s perspective, there is more to healing someone from an illness
than focusing only on the body. They believe that there must also be a focus on the individual s
spirituality (Keightley et al., 2011, p. 240). A doctor, who practices modern western medicine, places
their focus on the physical body and follow a specific scientific process that depends on the illness
being cured (Keightley et al., 2011, p. 241). These different approaches to medicine are based on the
philosophies and beliefs that a person has, and can often raise debate in certain medical situations. The
death of Makayla Sault raised a conflict between traditional medical practices, and western medical
practices.
Western Philosophy on Medicine
When Makayla was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia the doctors at the McMaster
Children s Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario gave her a seventy five per cent chance of survival. The
doctors in the hospital have the philosophical bias that the technology of advanced western medical
treatments are the most reliable form of treatment. Makayla began chemotherapy, and went through
eleven weeks of this treatment before stopping it. According to an Oncologist at McMaster, There are
no known cases of survival of this type of leukemia without a full course of treatment (Walker, C.,

Dbr Case
Based on the information in this case analysis, what are the types of threats DBR may be facing?
DBR is facing various kinds of threats like one from its competitors who could try to steal the
intellectual property of DBR and other from the advanced hackers who may be against the offshore oil
drilling projects and could target DBR for their role in those projects.
Corporate Theft Sabotage
Recently DBR released their advanced robotic prototype at an international tradeshow. Industry
experts have termed this prototype as the most advanced robotic system and also suggest that this
prototype is at least 5 years ahead of what DBR s competition has to offer. Because of this reason,
DBR fear that their competitors could try and steal their ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Espionage through advanced persistent threat (APT)
Advanced persistent threat (APT) is most critical information security threat. Competitor companies
could try such attacks with intent of having ongoing access to DBR s research data. In these attacks,
the data is not damaged or deleted, but is stolen without raising any alarms. This is the most advanced
and critical threat because with APT attacks, competitors can have unrestricted access to DBR s
network and data for as long as they desire.
Corporate Theft Sabotage
The threat which DBR is facing from its competitors is another significant threat. Before the launch of
the new prototype robot, DBR s competitors had an upper hand in the market which they lost once the
DBR announced their new prototype. Network attacks from the DBR s competitors could be aimed at
either at stealing the intellectual property so that they can again get in front in the robotics market or
those attacks could be for damaging or corrupting the research data so that DBR is not able to function
as efficiently. Such network attacks are also capable of damaging the company s infrastructure.
Competitor s intent behind these threats is straightforward, they want to get ahead in the market either
by stealing the information from DBR or by hampering DBR s functioning through data and
infrastructure damage.
Sabotage Information extortion

Similarities Between Kenya And The United States
The United Nations Development Program is a global development network tasked with the
responsibility of advocating for change in various countries. The body works to eradicate poverty and
reduce inequalities through sustainable development. Several dimensions including health, education
and income measure human development. Each of the three dimensions has their specific indicators.
This exposition will compare the data on two countries and explain why they rank in different
categories. The two countries of interest are Kenya and the United States. The countries rank
differently on the various indicators. The paper will try to answer why this is so. Kenya is presently
ranked at position 147 with a human development index of 0.535. On the other hand, the United States
ranks 5th with an average of 0.914. Kenya has its life expectancy at birth at 61.72 while that of the
United States is 78.94. The reason for the quite high figure is due to the improved health care facilities
that the country possesses. There are enough medicines and medical equipment to respond adequately
to emergencies. Kenya does ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In a nutshell, the population in the United States is more educated than their Kenyan counterparts.
There are numerous reasons that could explain the above situation. The education system of the
United States is more developed as there are good policies that govern the education sector. The
access to education is high because of the numerous numbers of schools that are in place. The teaching
personnel is sufficient thus the low teacher to pupil ratio. The same can barely be said about Kenya.
This country has a limited number of schools compared to its population. Individuals find it harder to
access education primarily due to their scarcity. The transition rates are also quite low and the teaching
staff inadequate resulting in a high teacher pupil

Summary Of The Beauty Myth Naomi Wolf
The Beauty Myth In The Beauty Myth, Naomi Wolf argues that the modern arsenal of the [beauty]
myth is a dissemination of millions of images of the current ideal (492). Beauty trends were definitely
changing throughout years and dictated by images of idolized women appearing in magazines and
television. Certain features were emphasized, while others were hidden. What was considered perfect
years ago is not even noticeable today. For example: ideal body shape went from curvaceous to
boyish, then to very athletic, etc. Most women by looking at constantly appearing images in social
media start to think that this is how they must look to be successful and desired. They are being told
how to dress, style their hair and apply make up. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Models that appear in them are usually Caucasian, blond, very tall and skinny. Their skin, teeth and
hair are perfect. The example here is Lancôme s add for youth serum. Almost 40 years old, very
famous actress Kate Winslet stares at the viewer with her beautiful, blue eyes. Her face looks much
different than a face of a person her age: she has no wrinkles. On the bottom it says: WHAT MAKES
A WOMAN FEEL BEAUTIFUL? A brilliant presence that shines from deep inside [sic] . Most of us
at some point were told that what s inside matters the most. Creators of this advertisement switched
the true meaning of these words. The brilliant presence that shines from inside is the product itself (it
claims to penetrate deep into layers of the skin and repair wrinkles from within), not person s

Media Stereotypes Essay examples
Media Stereotypes
Media stereotypes are inevitable, especially in the advertising, entertainment and news industries,
which need as wide an audience as possible to quickly understand information. Stereotypes act like
codes that give audiences a quick, common understanding of a person or group of people usually
relating to their class, ethnicity or race, gender, sexual orientation, social role or occupation.
Stereotypes are deeply embedded in every society in numerous ways. The dictionary definition of a
stereotype is one that is regarded as embodying or conforming to a set image or type. Stereotyping or

Propoganda may seem like a topic of the past as opposed to a topic in the contemparary field of
studies. This is because propganda was always related to movements like Hitler and Stalin in the
1930s. Even though nothing of that scale exists today, propganda still can be as serious as the swastika
or a minor as a riddle. Its repititive and perasuasive techniques are found in all fields such as politics,
journalism and addvertising. As Anthony Pratkanis and Elliot Aronson point out:
Every day we are bombarded with one persuasive communication after another. These appeals
persuade not through the give and take of argument and debate, but through the manipulation of
symbols and of our most basic human emotions.
F or better or worse, ours is an age of propaganda. (Pratkanis and Aronson, 1991)
Apart from all other forms of media the growth of the internet since the 1990 s has had agreat impact
on the sudden explosion of communications where any kind of messages can be uploaded uncensored
to any kind of audience. For the first time in history people from all walks of live and from every
corner of the world are interacting on a new level. This is a magnificent development but the negative
repercussion is that it works against the people of color and support the

The Expansive Ethical Standards Give Customers Some Level...
Financial Plan Project, Part IV
The expansive ethical standards give customers some level of solace; the use of those standards to
particular circumstances can be to some degree ambiguous. Keeping in mind the end goal to elucidate
the utilization of its code of morals, the CFP Board has incorporated an arrangement of guidelines all
the more particularly talking about regular issues that emerge amid financial arranging.
The CFP (certified financial planner) Board s standards all identify with specific standards in its code
of ethics. Case in point, in characterizing the obligation of uprightness, the principles oblige
organizers to abstain from deluding methods for requesting business, deceitful direct, and misusing of
customer s funds. To be objective, an organizer should dependably act to the greatest advantage of the
customer, utilizing sensible and judicious judgment as a part of settling on any choices. To stay
capable, an organizer must take proceeding with instruction classes and abstain from giving
exhortation in territories in which the organizer needs adequate information. Keeping in mind the end
goal to show reasonable treatment, organizers must uncover particular data about irreconcilable
circumstances, including remuneration from outside sources, for example, mutual fund, insurance, and
financier companies. They should charge just a sensible expense, and abstain from taking part in

Measurements in Boundary Layer Flows
Abstract: In this experiment, the velocity profile for a flat plate at zero pressure gradient of a boundary
layer at two different stream wise points were acquired. The investigation was also based on and how
changes in Reynolds number affect the velocity distribution within boundary layers. Parameters such
as the Momentum Thickness, Displacement Thickness, Shape Factor, shear stress and coefficient of
friction was also calculated to gain a better understand of boundary layers. The experimental values
calculated were compared to the theoretical Blasius for laminar flow and Power Law Solutions for
turbulent flow to see how they varied. It was found out the higher the Reynolds number the greater the
boundary layer thickness. As the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
[5] The boundary layer can also be measured by other factors. One factor is the Displacement
Thickness, δ*. It is defined as the distance by which the free streamlines are displaced in the y
direction due to the formation of the boundary layer. The formation of the boundary layer reduces the
mass flow rate per unit area. This is because near the surface the molecules are travelling slower,
meaning less flow rate per unit area is going out compared to coming in. In order to compensate for
this loss in mass flow rate, the external streamlines (free streamlines) will be displaced. The distance it
displaced is the δ*. [5] When deriving this equation it is assumed the flow is incompressible and
steady. Another factor is the Momentum Thickness, ϴ. It is defined as the thickness of a layer of
freestream fluid carrying a momentum flow rate equal to the reduction in momentum flow rate caused
by the formation of the boundary layer. Closer to the surface of the object, the flow is slower. This
means that the momentum is also slower. ϴ is a measurement of the compensation that makes us the
momentum flow rate that was lost due to the formation of the boundary layer. The momentum
thickness is useful in determining the skin friction drag on a surface. [5] When deriving this equation
it is assumed the flow is incompressible and steady. Momentum Thickness is an indication of Drag.

The Environmental Issue Of Water Conservation
Water is essential for humanity s survival, and even though the world is largely covered by water, only
a small percentage is potable for human utilization. Approximately, on average, 120,000 gallons of
water is used annually for a single family household (Galbraith). This alarming number could be
reduced dramatically for the efforts of water conservation and lowering water bill prices for families
could subsequently save money that could be used for other expenses. Thus, conserving water would
prove beneficial and advantageous to not just in Texas, but to everyone else as well. Although
environmental policies have not been as popular with Congress and the state legislature, it is still an
important issue to consider since there are only a limited amount of resources for public use, such as
water. Both the federal and state governments have enacted policies towards the efforts of water
conservation that mainly affect cities and corporations and considered how it affects other organisms
in the environment. One current environmental issue between the U.S. federal and state governments
is concerning about the efforts of water conservation and other natural resources by passing several
laws that mainly affect both cities and companies that somewhat relate to preserving wildlife as well
for the ecosystem. The reasons initiating these legal changes are to conserve clean water for human
consumption and to preserve wildlife as well. Congress passed the Water Pollution Control Act

Chapter Two The Health Improvement Issue From the various studies, reports and statistics (many of
which have been referenced and/or quoted in the Introduction) it is clearly evident that there are a
number of different health improvement issues in the town of Middlesbrough. Whilst these health
improvement issues cover such things as alcohol and drug misuse, from the reports, statistics and
studies, it is clear that the key and predominant health related improvement issue in the town of
Middlesbrough, is smoking. The Middlesbrough Health Profile 2012 says that smoking is one of the
main priorities for improvement in this area; approximately 30,000 people smoke in Middlesbrough
(Middlesbrough JSNA, 2012). As a result of this large section of Middlesbrough s population
smoking, it would come as no surprise that a high number of people are suffering from smoke related
illnesses and diseases and worst still, dying of these related illnesses and diseases prematurely. The
high numbers of people suffering smoke related illnesses and disease will have an adverse impact on
the local NHS and other services and in turn, be a high impact in terms of money, budgets and
increasing costs that the local NHS

Therapeutic cloning is the use of embryonic stem cells to create tissue to replace damaged tissue and whole organs. For this task I have been asked to explain those factors that influence communication and interpersonal interactions in health and social care environments and to also look at the negative barriers to communication. These are all factors that increases the effectiveness of the session, keeping it therapeutic of course. Balancing time is key, and if this is done correctly, this will be a positive factor. When dealing with children in a nursery, teachers need to keep accurate pace of time with the amount of activities done in the day. Children loose interest very quickly and are easily influenced by other peers, so its very easy for one child to break the circle of concentration. Making short, captivating activities that are both educational and fun are the most effective ways of keeping children busy. These need to be controlled by time, because if they are being taught for too long, they will loose interest. This is a negative factor. Seating In a nursery, children come together for activities and sit with each other on tables to do colouring or work, etc. If the seating is too far apart, communication will not be effective as the children won t be able to hear what the teachers are saying. They may also not be able to hear themselves talking to each other. group work would be almost impossible being so far away. This is partly to with the control the teachers have over the children, but seating placement is key, and needs to be organised correctly. This is a negative factor. Napoleon s tragedy was that his ambitions surpassed his capacities; Bismarck s tragedy was that his capacities exceeded his society s ability to absorb them. The legacy Napoleon left for France was strategic paralysis; the legacy the Bismarck left for Germany was unassimilable greatness (statement made by Henry Kissinger) is in my opinion a correct statement. This statement can actually be separated into two parts. The first parts relates with the capacities, ambitions and successes of Bismarck and Napoleon. The second part is about the final result of their reign and how their reigns could be taken over after such changing of Europe. Those crises would finally result in Italy and Germany as Unification and new difficulties for Napoleon to cope with. His foreign affaires always came out to be failures and to finally work against him. Napoleon destroyed by many ways all the other alliances that were made between France and other great powers, by supporting conflicts that wouldn t even benefit France. He supported the Italians in the war against Austria, this laid to Italian Unification which made one more power to deal with afterwards. He finally concluded an armistice with Austria ... without informing his Piedmontese allies (P.111 Kissinger), creating hatred among the Italians towards his country. It is no secret that Vancouver s housing issue is blowing out of proportion due to the demand for more affordable housing units. The problem is not a question of production, but the type of housing that is being supplied (Gold, 2016). However, this would take a great deal of time and nationwide discussion amongst lawmakers and the government to solve. While the nation is busy talking about the housing problem of Vancouver, some developers and innovators propose to adopt the idea of micro suites to help solve the issue. According to the City of Vancouver s zoning and development by law, no more than one person shall occupy a micro dwelling and it must have a floor area of at least 29.7 sq. m. or 319.69 sq. ft. Because of these numbers mandated by the City of Vancouver, Vancouverites are not expected to be experiencing to live in smaller conditions. However, places like Japan, Hong Kong, New York and San Francisco have micro dwelling units smaller than 320 sq. ft, which shows that there are people who are willing to live the micro life and make the community around them into their extended space. According to Sam Baron, 29, who has lived in a 248 sq. ft. space for two years, states that the space was comfortable, functional, and allowed him central access between his work and school (Bellett, 2015). However, some studies show that there are dangers in living in a confined space and how micro living is really not for everyone. The Growing Epidemic Of Childhood Obesity Introduction The United States has seen childhood obesity rates double in children and increase four times in adolescents since the 1980 s.1 The Center for Disease Control reports that in 2012, over one third of children and adolescents were considered obese or overweight.1 There is an urgent need to address the growing epidemic of childhood obesity, as obesity has been shown to have deteriorating immediate health effects and increase the risk of chronic disease such as diabetes, osteoarthritis and cancer in adulthood.1 Although there are many influential factors in a child s weight, nutrition is one of the main ones to consider, as a complete and balanced diet also promotes healthy growth and development.2 Research indicates that school encompasses a significant portion of a child s time, cognitive, physical and social development, and as such, has the responsibility to promote a healthy lifestyle for children.3 Because of the nationwide concern surrounding childhood obesity, recent federal wellness policy for public schools mandate that nutrition education, physical activity and other wellness promoting programs must be part of the school environment.4 The purpose of this review of literature is to evaluate if school nutrition is one of the major contributors to childhood obesity and how policy changes have affected the problem. Going from his struggling acting life in Los Angeles to his hometown in New Jersey, where he witnesses his mother s funeral, Andrew is in the mist of confronting difficult issues. One of the biggest issues is coming to terms with his psychologist father (Ian Holm), whom he has distanced himself from for many years because he has put him on powerful antidepressants for most of his life. Soon it s evident that Andrew isn t the only one dealing with complicated issues. Mark (Peter Sarsgaard), one of his friends from high school, has high ambitions but unfortunately, his constant use of pot smoking has lowered his motivation and instead works as a grave digger. The center point of this film is when Andrew meets Sam (Natalie Portman), a free spirited girl who even has psychological problems of her own, not to mention a bad habit of compulsively lying. How the two s relationship grows in the film is more focused on their conversations and adventures than focusing on the love situations. It s a great relief that Zack Braff chooses to wait on the intimate moments and focus on what draws Andrew and Sam together. There are moments in quot;Garden State quot; that appear as if they might progress into sexual situation but Braff as a director is more patient than that. If you might recall in the trailer, there s a distant long shot of Andrew and Sam by the fireplace. Usually an image like involving a couple might lead to a romantic moment but it s much more than that. It s less focused on body contact and more on comfort. In noting that, it is pleasing that Zack Braff allows his actors to perform in a more natural way, instead of the usual strain which can lead to theatrical acting. Natalie Portman, for ... Although people don t find play important in a classroom, play is very important especially in the early childhood setting. In early education classrooms students begin exploring, experimenting and mastering the beginnings of numeracy, literacy and even science. While children are talking and playing with one and another they are learning those concepts. Oral language and written are spread throughout classrooms. When talking is not an occurrence in the classroom students are listening to directions, identifying their cubbies, cleaning up and responding to questions which is all considered play. In order to meet the academic requirements play does not need to be nonexistent in the classroom. Traditional Medicine Versus Western Medicine Traditional Medicine Versus Western Medicine From an Indigenous person of Canada s perspective, there is more to healing someone from an illness than focusing only on the body. They believe that there must also be a focus on the individual s spirituality (Keightley et al., 2011, p. 240). Parameters such as the Momentum Thickness, Displacement Thickness, Shape Factor, shear stress and coefficient of friction was also calculated to gain a better understand of boundary layers. [5] The boundary layer can also be measured by other factors. One factor is the Displacement Thickness, δ*. It is defined as the distance by which the free streamlines are displaced in the y direction due to the formation of the boundary layer. The formation of the boundary layer reduces the mass flow rate per unit area. This is because near the surface the molecules are travelling slower, meaning less flow rate per unit area is going out compared to coming in. In order to compensate for this loss in mass flow rate, the external streamlines (free streamlines) will be displaced. The distance it displaced is the δ*. [5] When deriving this equation it is assumed the flow is incompressible and steady. Another factor is the Momentum Thickness, ϴ. It is defined as the thickness of a layer of freestream fluid carrying a momentum flow rate equal to the reduction in momentum flow rate caused by the formation of the boundary layer. Closer to the surface of the object, the flow is slower. This means that the momentum is also slower. ϴ is a measurement of the compensation that makes us the momentum flow rate that was lost due to the formation of the boundary layer. • 31. The Environmental Issue Of Water Conservation Water is essential for humanity s survival, and even though the world is largely covered by water, only a small percentage is potable for human utilization. Approximately, on average, 120,000 gallons of water is used annually for a single family household (Galbraith). This alarming number could be reduced dramatically for the efforts of water conservation and lowering water bill prices for families could subsequently save money that could be used for other expenses. Thus, conserving water would prove beneficial and advantageous to not just in Texas, but to everyone else as well. Although environmental policies have not been as popular with Congress and the state legislature, it is still an important issue to consider since there are only a limited amount of resources for public use, such as water. Both the federal and state governments have enacted policies towards the efforts of water conservation that mainly affect cities and corporations and considered how it affects other organisms in the environment. One current environmental issue between the U.S. federal and state governments is concerning about the efforts of water conservation and other natural resources by passing several laws that mainly affect both cities and companies that somewhat relate to preserving wildlife as well for the ecosystem.
