Compare And Contrast Country And Rap Music
As many people know, country and rap music are the most renowned genres of music in today s
world. Both genres are opposites of each other, but they both are on the edges of mainstream. Country
and rap music may stand alone and share binary oppositions such as lifestyles, however rap culture
has influenced country music in today s world which can be seen through the lyrics. In the book
Religion in Hip Hop , Anthony B. Pinn and Monica R. Miller states, Now a global and transnational
phenomenon US based hip hop culture has become a vital component of political, religious,
educational, economic progress, relevance, and recognition. Hip hop is becoming the most vital
cultural forces to be known in the world. Many country artists and other artists are starting to focus
more on having hip hop in their music such as Florida Georgia Line. Hip hop has made its way up to
the top of music and has let listeners realize the culture of Hip hop and how rappers have been raised
up in life. Anthony points out, Over the past two decades, those who have taken up hip hop culture for
its intellectual weight and contributions to the cultural life and self understanding of the United States
have come from a variety of methodological disciples (Anthony Pinn). Hip hop has explored and
changed the cultural out looks on today s ideas. Even though Hip hop has become known for seeing
the cultural side of the ideas in their songs, country music has become a native art form. In Country

Alienation In Gods And Monsters By Lana Del Rey
For many aspiring people, life tends to be a struggle for happiness. Whether old or young, rich or
poor, timid or bold, people often find themselves pressured by society to change, or else they will be
rejected. Under this overwhelming pressure that one may face at some point in his or her life, the
victim will forcibly conform to the confined margins of popular society the one that states that
everyone must be the same in both mentality and body image. In the song Gods Monsters, Lana Del
Rey emphasizes the importance of self identity through her narrative of alienation in Hollywood.
Using an eerie tune with supernatural metaphors relating her life to the evils of Hollywood, Del Rey
ultimately conveys that every life is unique and beautiful. Gods Monsters was written by Lana Del
Rey and released on her album Paradise in late 2012, just as she made her major debut into the music
industry. The alternative pop hit bears an unusually dark atmosphere and soft spooky vocals from
Lana Del Rey. The song emphasizes an early struggle of isolation that Lana faced as she was gaining
weight in the music industry. In 2014, Gods Monsters was featured in a musical scene on an episode
of the horror TV series ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
As she entered Hollywood, Lana lost her innocence. Coming to L.A., Lana was looking to get fucked
hard. While most listeners may take this line as a piece of trashy, sexual promiscuity, it most likely
beholds a deeper meaning that Lana is no longer an innocent freshman in the school of Hollywood.
She is no longer blinded by the naivety that she had when she came to Hollywood. Lana repeatedly
echoes this perception throughout the song several times, singing, It s innocence lost, innocence lost
(Del Rey). She can see the world for the monsters that it comprises. However, Lana now realizes what
she must decline to preserve her self identity and true

Sunder Lal (1989) conducted study to find out the nutrition and health education in relation to
personnel, material, techniques and methods in rural ICDS blocks of Kathura in Haryana. He study

Integrity and Success
What is the line between cheating and just helping out? Is there a hierarchy of honesty which places
people into categories based on the extent of their cheating? Whether or not there are different levels
of dishonesty, people often sacrifice their integrity in order to succeed. However, is this always the
best method of getting ahead in life? While it may be easier to excel in the professional world by
cheating, Tom Hanks, Simon Cowell, and Malala Yousafzai have proven that success can come from
being honest, and that one does not have to sacrifice his integrity to achieve.
Actors and celebrities may enjoy the spotlight constantly surrounding them, but their massive fame
and success never come without a backstory of hard work and dedication. While sometimes, fame
comes easier by cheating, being dishonest, and using unfair advantages to get ahead, there are some
celebrities whose brutal honesty and integrity have helped them gain fame and respect from their
followers. One prime example would be actor Tom Hanks, whose success in movies cannot be
understated. Hanks was ranked number one on the Forbes E Score list of most trustworthy celebrities
(Pomerantz). Due to his incredible honesty and trustworthiness, ... Show more content on

Although cheating can sometimes serve as a rapid catalyst for temporary success, it is almost never a
permanent solution to one s problems. Famous athletes like Lance Armstrong and Melky Cabrera have
gained temporary success by using less than honest methods to get ahead; however, these practices
came at the cost of their honor, reputation, and respect from fans. These people could have been just as
famous by using honest methods to excel, but they chose the easy way out and it eventually took its
toll. Success tastes sweeter when it is earned in an honest

Romanticism In Fredrick Douglass
Critics struggle to fit Douglass s narrative into a literary genre, some believe it fits within the realm of
Romanticism while others argue his narrative belongs under Realism. In nineteen century America,
the African American voice was missing from literature. Slave narratives were not taken seriously and
most slaves were not taught how to read or write. Douglass s was a self taught slave his narrative was
a game changer Douglass was considered an intellectual and respected by most as a reputable author.
Douglass s narrative is difficult to place within genre because it has aspects of both realism and
romanticism. It is realistic to have a narrative explaining the horrors of slavery: some of the horrors so
terrible it is hard for someone ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This means, that Douglass s work does not need to have actually happened to be considered a realistic
narrative, it just needs to seem like it could have happened and is a normal occurrence for slaves. After
considering this, there are reasons that this narrative became so popular. Douglass s narrative does not
portray an everyday occurrence of American slavery it is about one man who, with luck on his side,
made it to freedom. Every slave did suffer, slaves were beaten, raped, whipped, and worked to death
this narrative does catch the sorrow of slave life but it goes out of the ordinary. The famous line You
have seen how a man was made a slave; you shall see how a slave was made a man. (Douglass, 73) is
a chasm used to exemplify this. Overcoming oppression in the scene where Douglass takes on Mr.
Covey the slave breaker (Douglass, 66) would not be a normal occurrence, Douglass triumphs and
becomes the embodiment of a romantic hero. To overcome Covey, Douglas creates a need to invent a
self outside of the active oppression around him. (Wessel). Instead of being realistic, this narrative is
an example of propaganda, Douglass romanticises the fight to get his readers attention, to give slaves
hope, and to grasp Northerners following in joining the abolitionists.
While the reality of Douglass s experiences is anything but a

Mothers and the Chinese Spirit in Amy Tan s The Joy Luck Club
The Joy Luck Club is the telling of a tale of struggle by four mothers and their four daughters trying to
understand the issue of gender identity, how they each discover or lose their sense of self and what
they mean to one another. Throughout the book each of the mothers works hard at teaching their
daughters the virtues of Chinese wisdom while allowing the opportunities of American life. They try
passing on a piece of themselves despite the great barriers that are built between the women. Each of
the stories gives a wonderful glimpse into the Chinese culture and heritage that the mothers are trying

Each one of these Chinese American mothers is subjected to the predestined gender roles, and each
one responded differently. How they respond determines how they relate to others, their sense of self
and what they hope to teach their daughters who they see are going through the same experiences.
Amy Tan goes into great detail to describe these womens sense of self and the circumstances behind it.
Ying Ying is an example. She began life with a great self esteem and slowly transformed into a ghost
with no self at all. She deteriorated from a wild, adventurous Tiger woman to a quiet, conservative
Dragon. She says of herself and her daughter that, We are lost, she and I, unseen and not seeing,
unheard and not hearing, unknown by other (Tan 64). Ying Ying was born with a Tiger spirit who
possessed two ways, black and gold. The gold leaps with its fierce heart. The black side stands still
with cunning, hiding its gold between trees, seeing and not being seen, waiting patiently for things to
come (Tan 282). Ying Ying allowed a bad husband to steal away her spirit and leave her abandoned. I
became a stranger to myself (Tan 280). After leaving her first husband s house and returning home,
she abandoned herself to whatever life offered her. She

The Student s Chair For An Adult
The students desks were rearranged because the students would run into each other and bump into
each other with their chairs. There was not enough space between the student s chair for an adult to
walk through. Turning those five groups into U shape gives the teacher an opportunity to address
every child s work in one place instead of bumping into another child for space. I gave extra space in
between the groups for more clear traffic patterns for the children to walk to the carpet, their cubbies,
or other areas of the room. After arranging them like this there is even more space in the classroom
which hopefully prevents chaos. Another area I modified in this classroom is the Cubby Area. The
cubbies in my CT s class are in an L shape against the far left corner. Every morning and afternoon the
children and pushing and bumping into each other. By putting them straight and against the left wall
gives the children more space to gather or put up their belongings in turn makes it safer. There is a
large, clear walkway to the cubbies for the students and plenty of space to line up in front of the
classroom door. In the top left corner is the new reading area. It has a bookcase that is easily
accessible to the students along with two bean bags for the children to sit on while reading. This area
contributes to their gross and fine motor skills because the children can sit while reading a book of
their choice. The bookcase has books ranging from a level 10 to a

Money With Affiliate Marketing Online Essay
How to make money with affiliate marketing online is a topic that a lot of people come to Stuart Ross
with. Stuart is millionaire digital entrepreneur and co founder of the Six Figure Mentors (SFM) and
Digital Experts Academy (DEA), a Premier Business and Entrepreneur Online Education Service and
one of the fastest growing exclusive private communities on the internet today.
People tend to approach Stuart with a question like this, Stuart, I m thinking of getting started online. I
want to live the internet lifestyle. I want to create my digital empire, but I just don t know what sort of
products to create? What they re saying is that they ve been looking in the market place and can see
there s a variety of programs out there to make money with affiliate marketing online.
The question is usually, Can you recommend any of the programs out there? or What types of products
shall I be selling? The mistake people often make when they first get started online is that they look
for affiliate programs that have the highest commission payouts or are quite low cost. The reason for
this is that they think that these are going to be the easiest products to sell because of their low cost.
They then go and sign up to any old affiliate program and go out and start trying to make affiliate
commissions. The problem with this is that so often people are not that passionate or bothered about
the products they are selling. I will tell you this straight no course, training

There is one thing all hidden children of the holocaust have in common, silence. Lola Rein Kaufman
is one of those hidden children. And she is done being silent. Lola Rein was a hidden child during the
holocaust. She was one of the lucky ones; one of the 10,000 500,000 that survived. Her family wasn t
as lucky. Lola endured, los, abandonment, and constant fear, but has now chosen to shed her cloak of
silence.
There were two types of hidden children: the children that didn t look like the stereotypical Jew, and
were hidden in plain sight, in an orphanage or maybe with a family who pretended the child was an
orphaned family member. Then there were the ones that were truly hidden, such as in an abandoned

she can For nearly 50 years I don t and can t speak about what has happened to me... I was silent when
I was hidden and I stay silent even when I am not (Rein Kaufman). Because the memories of her
childhood were so painful, Lola did not tell anyone what had happened; not her uncle, who raised her
after the holocaust, not her husband, and not her children. Lola decided to share her story in May of
1991 when she met Jane Marks, a reporter who was writing a book on hidden children. After Lola is
handed the microphone at a United States Holocaust Memorial Museum reception and told, Go ahead

Linux Network Name Spaces
Overview
In this paper we will discuss the Linux Network Name Space. First, the concept of namespaces will be
described along with an overview of the default name spaces available in the Linux operating system.
The Linux Network Name Space is a key enabler for some high profile virtualization technologies
including OpenStack and Docker.
Linux Name Spaces
Linux consists of the following six namespaces:
Network Network Namespace
PID Process Namespace
Mount Filesystem Namespace
User User Namespace
IPC Interprocess Communication Namespace
UTS Host and NIS Namespace
Linux namespaces can be traced back to early UNIX technologies called chroot, process jails
controlled where access is controlled with cgroups. The concept of a namespace is to isolate processes
from other processes on the system. This concept evolved into namespaces that are created with
clone() system call and manipulated with the setns() and unshare() system calls. The clone() system
call is used when creating child namespace from a parent or root namespace. As the name would
suggest this creates a clone of an existing stack. The setns() system call is used to join a namespace.
The unshare() system call is used for moving processes into a namespace, as the name suggests the
process

Naps Beneficial
I do not believe naps during the day are more beneficial to your mind and body. Naps can cause
problems with you being groggy after waking up. Generally people cant take naps because of
distractions and noises. First, reason i do not believe naps are beneficial is because people that take
naps tend to stay groggy for the rest of the day. Normally when you take a nap you sleep longer than
intended which will cause problems when you try to go to bed at night. Generally people do not need
naps during the day unless they were kept up during there nighttime sleep schedule. If you are tired
during the day and a nap is needed you could have a illness that needs to be treated. Other reasons

Sean Puffy Combs has established himself as one of the biggest names in hip hop (Heal). Combs a

pursuing his career as a vocalist, Combs was a business minded Howard University student and an

The Dance Lesson By Edgar Degas
The subject of The Dance Lesson by Edgar Degas appears to be ballerinas or dancers standing around
waiting or getting prepared, such as stretching and tying bows, for their dance class or lesson to start.
The dancers are all sitting, standing down, and stretching instead of dancing, so it seems they are
waiting for their instructor to start the dance class. This painting seems to have taken place in a
ballerina or dance studio. It appears to be a wide room with wooden floors to dance on and in the
background it appears to be a mirror with a pole attached, like you would see in a regular dance

Edgar used the difference in lights and darks to show depth in the painting and show importance. The

Traits and Values Associated with Femininity in Antigone
ANTIGONE
The conventionally accepted roles of both males and females in ancient Grecian society were well
defined and manifested. Women were considered the weaker of the sexes and, thus, were expected to
remain in the home and perform their domestic duties, while the men were to be rulers and bread
winners. The woman s voice was not heard on any issues affecting the society as her opinions were
thought unworthy of consideration. She was required merely to reproduce, to execute her domestic
duties well and to submit incontestably to the authority of the men. In essence the Greeks valued their
women almost as little as a common slave was valued. These values and traits associated with
femininity in ancient Grecian societies are ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Property ownership could only be achieved through gifts, dowry and inheritance. The most important
role of women in ancient Greece, especially married women, was considered to be the production of
lawful children and the execution if household chores. Also she was required to literally remain inside
the home, except she was attending a special event as in those days women found in the streets were
either assumed to be enslaved, a harlot, a concubine or a woman who had to find work outside of the
home because of poverty (Thompson, par.8). It was also considered respectable for a woman to
remain out of sight and audible range when the man of the house had guests. Evidently, women of
ancient Greece were subjected to what modern day women may consider harsh and unfair treatment as
a result of some irrational beliefs and practices that were given judicial recognition. Because of fear of
facing the consequences that may arise from contesting these laws, many women living during that
period made no attempt to do so. So they remained as they were considered to be weak and helpless
because of fear. Sophocles mythical anecdote of Antigone, however, shows the apparently unseen
characteristics of women, though not all women, in ancient Greece. They were not as weak, helpless
and unwise as they were believed to have been but were strong willed individuals, possessing strong
characters and competent of making sound decisions.

Persuasive Essay On How To End Your Relationship
Why is it so hard to breakup with someone without seeming like a jerk or even an ass? It s not that
you don t love them, it s not that you re bored with them, but the simple fact that you have outgrown
the person you thought you might spend the rest of your life with. When two people go their separate
ways and choose to breakup, the person who ends it, is fed up the most, but at what cost? Almost
everyone you know that has been in a long relationship and has broken up, has been conflicted on how
to end it. If you follow the five steps MCPSR, meditate, conversate, plan the date, separate, and
reevaluate you will be single without worry.
The first thing you do not want to do is jump to conclusions, and end the relationship without thought.
Because if you end the relationship this way, you will regret it later. You will feel guilty about the way
you handled the situation, and from perspective of the significant other, you, my friend are going to be
resented for forever and a day. The first approach is to meditate, or take some me time. Me time is
what one likes to call time that no is around to bother you and make you wish you were on death road
laying in your casket with your phone in your hand about to make your last life changing tweet before
taking your last breath. When taking your me time, you need to think about all of the good and all of
the bad in your relationship. If you can t pin it on the first try, attempt to write it down. Make two
columns, on one side write good and on the other write bad. When doing this you are listing all of the
good things and all of the bad things in your relationship, this helps you way your options on whether
to end it or attempt to save it. If the good out ways the bad, then that is when you should consider
saving it, but if the bad out ways the good... you should consider dropping them like a hot tamale on a
late Saturday night at 3:00 in the morning watching cartoons trying to shove it in your mouth after 3.2
seconds out of the microwave.
Your second step is simple, conversate . Talk to someone that has been in your situation. Why? Glad
you asked, you do this because the person who has been in your situation knows the do s and the don

THE EMO SUBCULTURE
Aspects of Contemporary Society
Emo, short for Emotional; this group is generally constructed as a group of teenagers who desperately
try to escape the social class they have been put into. Mostly an underground scene the term Emo
began as a music genre in the mid 1980 s with a group of bands set on redefining punk rock music.
They based their music on emotions and feelings and this quickly spread throughout America. This
lasted until the early 2000 s when the bases turned to (some say) over the top emphasis on self
expression and negative connotations were implied; emotion and sadness thus stereotyping the word
we so often hear today. With this derogatory, implications followed. Emos began to be marginalized

3. Check the Index usage quite often
Sys.dm_db_index_operational_stats() DMF is quite underutilized tool which can provide a great
information about index usage. By using this DMF tool you may be able to gather all the vital
information required to determine which index is being used and which used to be used next. It will
even let you know various things like time elapsed for processes, latching and locking.
4. Rebuilt the index after SQL server update
It is quite normal for a business to upgrade its SQL server platform from old to a newer one. But
sometimes this upgrade makes the performance of different queries changed. Earlier any query which
used to execute in 30 seconds would now will take 15 minutes. It happens because the query
execution plan is different in each SQL Server version. Furthermore, the sequence of table nested
loops/Inner Joins are also different. Since SQL server works in live environment, so amending the
queries is quite different.

The advantages of HUDs are shorter accommodation times for the driver, as the eyes don t have to
focus to very close information like inside the cockpit. The driver can read quickly the information

reaction on passengers and a very high user acceptance. However, also several disadvantages are
assumed. Phenomena like cognitive capture are discussed what means a unknown shift of the driver s
attention towards the HUD. Also perceptual tunneling what can result in a reduction of the peripheral

Ecs 338 Research Paper
Using Dr. Philip Guo s OPT to Teach EECS 338 Concepts Dr. Philip Guo, a professor at the
University of Rochester, developed a tool to teach students programming and programming language
concepts. This tool is called the Online Python Tutor, or OPT for short. It is a way in which people
who want to learn how to write python or other programming languages can not only learn the syntax
of the language, but also see a visual representation of how the code operates. In this online tutoring
application, the code s compilation is shown in frames and objects. This sort of organization can also

Essay on Campus Unrest
Campus Unrest
In response to great opposition to United States involvement in the Vietnam War, the antiwar
movement of the 1960s sprung forth. A vast majority of involvement in this movement was
represented on college campuses across the nation. Many college students wholeheartedly believed
that the war in Vietnam served no point. America was simply once again sticking its nose in business
that was not our own. As a result of the war, universities nationwide in the sixties were in uproar as
students attempted to express their opinions through both violent and nonviolent means. Anti Vietnam
protests were first displayed through teach ins that took place during the fall and spring semesters (

Fitzpatrick on the other hand expressed a very different opinion: We are fighting in Vietnam not to
save our little brown brother, but to save ourselves...we live in a world today of civilizational struggle
(Hochman 1).The third professor, Susman, suddenly became extremely angry and bolted towards the
two, banging on the podium when he approached. The crowd witnessing the event went wild and
stood to applaud Susman, and the remainder of the teach in proved to be just as out of control. Eleven
speeches were given in all discussing U.S. involvement in Vietnam and other pertinent issues. This
teach in at Rutgers was similar to many others nationwide that took place on college campuses in
opposition to the war (Hochman 2). Another teach in took place at the University of California
Berkely. It was the largest teach in yet and it lasted for thirty six hours and over thirty thousand people
participated in it. There were also marches on Washington Avenue in which twenty five thousand
people attended. These marches became popular when the college students went home for the summer
(Wells 25). Also, in the early 1960s drastic social change was being pushed from another direction at
universities. An organization known as Students for a Democratic Society sprung forth in order to
instigate this type of reform ( Vietnam 2). Leaders of the SDS realized that many

The Effects Of Social Stories On The Classroom For...
Elementary students who lack vocabulary to successfully express themselves may use aggression to
obtain their wants and needs. A social story can be defined as a story written to allow a child to
emphasize a social skill such as how to ask for a turn, usually after a troublesome behavior occurs
such as displaying aggression. Social stories can be used successfully as an intervention in the
classroom for children ages 4 5 for teaching and modeling appropriate social behaviors. Using social
stories alone may not be as successful as the use of social stories combined with contingencies such
as: Verbal prompting and the use of a response cost token economy where tokens can be used to
obtain rewards. Current research studies which conclude social studies are successful in changing
behavior are being challenged by additional research which concludes prior success may be due to
confounding variables, questionable research design and implementation. The purpose of this study
was to investigate whether social stories are used more successfully alone or when paired with
contingencies such as a response cost token economy or verbal prompting.

God s Omnipotence
Some people refer God as the Omnipotent, that is to say a being that has unlimited power, and is able
to do everything. God has four different attributes, he is omniscient, simple, eternal and omnipotent.
The latter raises some difficulties, and paradoxes. In a first part I will show how omnipotence can be
defined differently, how radical omnipotence differs with limited omnipotence and the issue with
logic. Then I will show how God s omnipotence raises some paradoxes and contradictions, by relying
on the paradox of the stone and the problem of evil. Finally I will try to answer some questions
concerning God s ability to sin, to bring about the past, and to do things not done by him. Does God s
powers have a limit, could it then be ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
(Mackie, 1955)The claim that evil is necessary as a counterpart to good (Mackie, 1955, p.203) errs,
indeed we can again assert that as God made the laws of logic it would be possible for only good to
exist in the world.
Nevertheless the existence of evil in the world is required to prove what good really is. Without evil,
everything, every actions are considered good. But if good is everywhere, it becomes difficult to
measure it, and we cannot compare it with other actions. To be good is to possess and display moral
virtue, but how can we do that if evil does not exist ? Good has to be opposed to evil, for it to exist. It
then does not distract it with God s omnipotence. Mackie (1955) reckons that first order evil such as
pain and misery contrasts with first order good pleasure and happiness . Moreover a second order
good such as sympathy can only exist if there is a second order evil suffering , similarly with heroism
in facing danger (Mackie, 1955, p.206). But according to Mackie this claim fails, in fact the second
order evil that is cowardice or cruelty (Mackie, 1955, p.207) is rising as much as another second order
good. And if God were omnipotent and morally good he would try and eliminate those evils.
Regarding evil and omnipotence many philosophers have taken the position that human have freewill
and are independent of God. And that

Understand The Effect Of Solar Plasma On Earth s...
2nd P: To understand the effects of solar plasma on Earth s magnetosphere, one must look at the
creation of plasma in the early days of the sun. The sun s creation is similar to the process in the
explosion of a hydrogen bomb, only with the energy created equaling the force of 10 billion hydrogen
bombs per second. When the sun was originally forming, hydrogen gas in the middle was crushed
from weight above. Eventually, the pressures and temperatures reached such an intense point to where
the hydrogen atoms broke apart into electrons and photons, thus, creating plasma. Photons from the
explosion of electrons and protons are made so fast and so many at a time that it creates the observed
power of the sun. This reaches us as sunlight. Even though the process of the energy created is
relatively quick, the process in which the photons travel to Earth happens over a long time within the
Sun s layers. The energy of sunlight that shines down on us today is over 100,000 years 1 ... Show

The overall movement and rotation of the sun effect the magnetic fields in the sun. This movement
churns up plasma in the convection zone*, which in turn stirs up electrical currents, and finally creates
a magnetic field. Within these magnetic fields exists field lines, the main component of the solar
flares. Loops in the magnetic field lines rise with energy from the surface. On one end of the loop
exists a positive while the other end is negative. Plasma underneath stirs the poles and pumps
numerous amounts of energy into them. However, if the poles are twisted enough the loops cross
which creates a short circuit resulting in a tremendous outward explosion. The result is a solar flare.
Within these solar flares, nets of plasma are flung into space and can be described as coronal mass
ejections (solar storms). These CMEs flung into the solar system are what can wreak havoc on the

Divorce and the Bible Essays
The law defines divorce as ¡§a legal dissolution of the marriage contract by a court or other body

follow that of the Bible?
Mark 10:1 12¡X ¡¥Jesus then left that place and went into the region of Judea and across the Jordan.
Again crowds of people came to him, and as was his custom, he taught them. Some Pharisees came
and tested him by asking, ¡§Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?¡¨

I believe that Jesus brought up the examples of adultery to better illustrate his point.
If a couple decides to become divorced, they only decide to live apart. They are still married. Before
God, they are not allowed to remarry. Marrying, or engaging in sexual acts with, another while
married is considered adultery. Thus, doing these acts while living in separate homes is still adultery.
Matthew 5:31 32: ¡¥ ¡§It has been said, ¡¥Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a certificate of
divorce.¡¦ But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, causes
her to become and adulteress, and anyone who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.¡¨¡¦
What exactly was Jesus saying here? It seems to be quite similar to the recollection of Mark, but with
an added twist. The married couple is still bound before God. Thus, the adultery aspect still stands
after the marriage. However, Jesus explains that divorce is only permissible in the case of adultery.
Does this act of divorce label her as an adulterer? Or, is he saying that a divorce is only considered a
divorce before God after adultery?
A loop hole is seemingly formed in this statement. A divorce is only considered a divorce of spirit
after an adultery¡Xmeaning it is the ultimate sin in a marriage. If one decides to become divorced for
other reasons, then it is not an

Factors That Increase Out Rates And The Importance And...
Literature Review One of the many problems our youth is affected by is the decision not to, or
inability to graduate high school. This paper will emphasize the issues that can influence drop out
rates and the importance and need of an appropriate intervention. Drop out rates, whether difficult to
measure accurately, continue to steadily increase, especially for minorities (low SES students, African
Americans, and Hispanics). Dropping out of high school is a very significant issue, not just for the
individual itself, but also for society (Rumberger, 1983). Research shows that students who drop out
are more likely to be unemployed, or have low skilled/low paying jobs (Christle, Jolivette, Nelson,
2007). The problems do not stop there; ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Psychological factors also play an important role in Rumberger s study; findings have shown that high
levels of confidence, sociability and educational aspirations can distinguish graduate students from
dropouts. Among other important factors linked to possible dropouts are family backgrounds, and
school settings. Families have a great impact when it comes to school interest and the motivation to
stay in school. One study by Hill and Stafford (1977) shows that better educated parents have shown
to influence their children s educational aspirations and drive to stay in school (Rumberger, 1983). In
addition, a strong parent children communication about their parental expectations for their children s
education has shown a relationship to school achievement (Strom Boster, 2007). And important
finding shows that even if children are doing poorly in school, those whose parents were involved in
their children s education and decisions, were less likely that those with low parental involvement, to
drop out of school (Rumberger, Ghatak, Poulos, Ritter, Dornbush, 1990). Schools play a very
important role as well; students can lose motivation and become less engaged in school if they cannot
find a connection with their school. Studies show that the majority of high school dropouts are
associated with disengagement from school (Christle et al., 2007). Teachers have the ability to
influence their students motivation to stay in school as well. Students who

George Wickham deceives the characters within the novel. Wickham fooled the Bennet family,
especially Lydia, and attempted to fool Mr. Darcy and his young, innocent sister. Wickham

the beginning of the novel, Wickham was perceived as a well spoken and charming member of the

When he was denied by Darcy, Wickham conjured up a plan to trick Georgiana, Darcy s little sister,
into marrying him. Wickham hoped to convince Georgina to elope with him so he could steal her
inheritance, which is the main reason for the hostility between Darcy and Wickham. This letter reveals

integrity or benevolence, that might rescue him from the attacks of Mr. Darcy; or at least, by the
predominance of virtue, atone for those casual errors under which she would endeavour to class what
Mr. Darcy had described as the idleness and vice of many years continuance. But no such recollection

Jimmy King believed that Webber s actions hurt many people that had nothing to do with Ed Martin.
We have seen now over the years these types of situations arise before this incident Luther Campbell

likely be more in the future. Boosters due to the many they give to the school are given access to the
institution and players sometimes in good faith. Some boosters take advantage of this to what they feel
as helping the recruiting process by offer money and gifts. The institutions must have control over the
supporters access to student athletes to avoid violation of NCAA rules. However, the question is
whether we can solve these issues through financial reimbursement for student athletes. The issue is
due to all student athletes get paid or just sports that generate massive amounts of revenue like football
and college basketball. Is it morally correct for a football player to receive money from a golf player?
They are both student athletes and may be facing the same financial hardships. I do not believe that
that is correct nor fair. I think if you pay one student athletes they all should receive money. But, also
the question arises whether having received a free education is not enough and does the payment of
players break the amateur status of student athletes. A tough topic and there is a solution here
somewhere. However, in the regard on whether Chris Webber owes the university an apology, I would

Impact Of Thomas Jefferson And Geroge Washington On The...
Thomas Jefferson and Geroge Washington played a large role in the stability of the government.
George Washington was well respected among the public, which is why he was elected as the first
president of America after the U.S. had officially become independent from Britain. Moreover,
Thomas Jefferson was also a well respected leader and believed in economic equality for everyone.
Overall they both helped shape America for the better in the ways they led the country throughout
their presidency.
Washington was a man of character and rarely used force to settle issues. During the Whiskey
Rebellion, which was caused by the tax placed on whiskey, George Washington personally led his
troops to go stop the rebellion. This was the first realization of the need for a stronger central
government. Although many Americans did not like the strong central government style of leading
because it reminded them of their past rulership, it was needed for America to become stable.

Fairness Doctrine Pros And Cons

Pols 155 The Fairness Doctrine was a policy established by the Federal Communications
Commission, that states those with broadcast license such as radio stations and television programs
must present controversial public issues in way that is honest, balanced, and fair within the time of
their program. The policy was passed by Congress in 1949, its main concern was that diverse views
and controversial issues that regard the public be available for society to be aware of. This also

The repeal has given broadcasters the power to dismiss issues or state them in a manner that is bias.
Ralph Nader an American politic activist explains that without the Fairness Doctrine public issues,
including women s rights, the health effects of smoking, and the safety of nuclear power plants, would
not have not been apparent to society. Many have considered the reinstatement of the Fairness
Doctrine, in 2005 by U.S Representative Louise Slaughter, in 2007 by Senator Richard Durbin, then
again in 2008. In my opinion I think the Fairness Doctrine should be reinstated but also reevaluated
and revived so that it fits are society today. The doctrine should include factors that still protect the
first amendment but enables the public to be knowledgeable of issues, in which they can form their
own opinions on. News and other media today is very bias and provides entertainment rather than
knowledge of current news that impact our lives. I believe the public needs to be fully aware of issue
and political views in a broad spectrum rather than the bias view of the broadcasters

The Purpose Of This Assessment Is To Demonstrate In A Clear,
The purpose of this assessment is to demonstrate in a clear, precise way, how to answer identified
NAPLAN (National Assessment Program Literacy and Numeracy) questions. NAPLAN is a
standardised test developed by Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority [ACARA]
(n.d.). This assessment will provide answers to each question and will indicate the confidence with the
approach used, how each answer was formulated, the steps taken or knowledge used and whether that
knowledge was known or investigated. This assessment will also show what other way could have
been used to answer each question. Precise mathematical procedures will be used to solve these
equations, moreover as much detail as possible will be provided to produce ... Show more content on

Observing problems in concrete form aids in my understanding and therefore the solution. Conversely,
the drawing of the diagram in a two dimensional form helped to deliver the correct answer. I
approached this question with the required knowledge and confidence to solve it immediately.
Question 5, NAPLAN (Year 9 non calculator), ACARA (2012)
Approach: The approach used to solve this scale was ratio set up in the form of a fraction.
Workings: To calculate the ratio, the actual length measurement is divided by the drawing length
measurement. The measurements need to be represented in fraction form. The drawing length is 4cm
and the actual length is 8mm.
Actual length over the drawing length: 8mm/4cm.
Simplify this fraction by determining the largest common denominator of both numbers. The largest
common denominator of both numbers is 4.
8mm/4cm : 2mm/1cm . Drawing length becomes 1cm and actual length becomes 2mm. The scale is
1cm represents 2mm.
Another way to solve this question would be by using data measurement with the mathematical
concept of division, using part/whole method. Both shapes were square and would be able to be
divided equally. Using the part/whole method and establishing the number four was one of the
common denominators for both lengths.
DL = 4cm. 4cm ÷ 4 = 1cm : AL = 8mm. 8mm ÷ 4 = 2mm
Scale of drawing = 1cm represents 2mm
I was confident

A Long, Enduring History
The planet that we reside on has a long, enduring history. Today, remnants can still be found that tell
the history of the land, and of its inhabitants; many of these remnants, however, have been destroyed
over time. The Bamiyan Valley in Afghanistan has a rich and complicated history that continues up to
the present day. The residents of Bamiyan live neighboring a wall of cliffs, speckled with caves.
Bordering the city on each side, two abandoned niches are carved into the cliff face, each towering
over 100 meters. These great niches once held two Buddha statues that looked out over the Bamiyan
Valley, but now stand empty. Once a witness to the history of the area, these Buddhas were destroyed
in 2001 when the Taliban, a terrorist group, destroyed them due to their religious imagery. Since their
destruction, the international community has risen up in protest, and endless discussions on its
reconstruction have been hashed out as further studies are done on the remains. The interaction with
religious ideology complicates and stigmatizes the situation, causing many discussions to go nowhere.
The Bamiyan Buddhas hold significant cultural value, providing not only a religious sanctuary for
many, but also by attracting travelers with their beauty. By leaving the niches empty, we risk the well
being of the Bamiyan Valley, as well as a loss of a key part of history. In restoring the Buddhas, the
international community can also see it as a restoration of the Bamiyan Valley

The Fashion Choices People Make Should Not Define Who They...
The fashion choices people make should not define who they are. People should be judged based on
their actions and not by their fashion choices. Passing judgement based on looks can hurt others and
cause issues in society. Some people are required to dress in a certain fashion, but that does not
determine whether they are good or bad. I chose this argument topic because it involves my major in
fashion and also an issue for which I can relate. The study of fashion and sociology can relate in some
ways, therefore, this would be an interesting argumentative research topic.
The first key point that I can use in my essay would be that children, especially teenagers, are judge by
their peers based on their fashion choices. This claim supports my argument by showing that teenagers
that are judged harshly, often feel forced to dress a certain way to be accepted. The second key point
that I can use is that people of different cultures are expected to behave a certain way or have certain
beliefs based on their attire. This key point supports my argument to show that stereotyping people
based in their culture can cause result in issues within society. The last key point that I can use is that
fashion choices express how someone feels and not how they are. Someone s style of fashion can
change at any time or frequency, depending on how he or she feels at certain times, or in a specific
situation.
The audience that will be reading my essay will be my instructor or anyone else that is

The Benefits Of Technology And Technology
The Benefits of technology
There are many examples of why technology is so beneficial to humans. The ability to know what is
happening anywhere on Earth is essentially one click or tap away. The ability to contact a love one in
an emergency. The ability to know where you are at if you re lost. This feeling of being in control of
so much is God like you could argue. However, I m not here to talk about what technology is overall, I
m going to explain if teenagers are essentially to connected to technology and out of touch with the
real world, and the answer I have come up with after researching and my own experiences is yes,
teens are too connected.
The art of distraction
From my own experiences whenever I am bored or simply have nothing to ... Show more content on

After I complete my assignments and show proof I m allowed to retrieve my wonderful device to
catch up on what I have missed for the last 3 hours. The positive side of this is I m not distracted and I
am determined to complete my work, however, the negative of course is I don t have my phone. I have
told this to several of my friends and I get the unanimous response almost every time. Your parents are
super strict or I do fine with my phone out, tell them that .
The point of the above two paragraph was to show even though I feel like I deserve my phone after
school I really don t, I have an excellent GPA because of this system they have implemented in our
house. During my summer session online ( this is my first year) my parents didn t take my phone at all
and I kind of regret this. I have about a 95 average for both semesters, a good grade but it doesn t
satisfy my standards. I was always on my phone and constantly distracted and just couldn t focus. So
while a teen believes they deserve downtime the really don t. It s an art of distraction that is so
cunning that are conning their own self into an addiction.
The risk are small compared to the Benefits
I have always said that being on my phone is a good thing. If I m in trouble I can call the police and
can be helped. If I get lost I can pull up a map on my phone and know where I m at. Maybe it s dark in
the house and I need a

History Of The Zodiac Killer
Who is the Zodiac Killer? He is one of the most infamous serial killers of the last one hundred years.
He has a confirmed five kills and injured two more people, some have estimated that he had killed
between eighteen and thirty people. The Zodiac Killer himself had claimed to have murdered thirty
seven people. His hunting ground was the Northern Area of California. The time period he was active
during the late sixties and early seventies. The murders were committed in the cities of Benicia, San
Fransisco, Vallejo and in the area surrounding Lake Berryessa. There was no preference for the gender
of his victims, he murdered four men and three women. But there was a distinguished age range he
liked to prey on, he liked younger people between ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A hooded man approached them and tied them up. He brandished what appeared to be a .45 caliber
pistol, but eventually ended up stabbing them both numerous times. The killer called the Napa
Country Sheriffs office to report his crime. After the local police found the bodies Cecilia was able to
give a detailed report. She later died in the ambulance while Hartnell became the second victim to
survive the Zodiac Killer. The final confirmed victim of the Zodiac Killer is Paul Stine The taxi driver
picked up a passenger on October 11, 1969 in San Fransisco, California. The passenger then shot Stine
once in the head with a 9mm pistol. Three teenagers witnessed the crime but there was no valuable
information that came from it. The Zodiac Killer is infamous for the cryptic letters he sent to the local
press. Only one out of the four ended up being decrypted. The one letter that was decrypted was very
graphic and disturbing. August 1, 1969 was the day the first letters were received at the San Fransisco
Examiner, San Fransisco Chronicle and the Vallejo Times Harold. They were nearly identical and each
included a third 408 symbol cryptogram. He ordered them to put the letters on the front page or he
threatened to go on a killing spree. On August 7 , 1969, the Police Chief requested information to
verify that he was the man responsible of the earlier murders. He

  • 2. Compare And Contrast Country And Rap Music As many people know, country and rap music are the most renowned genres of music in today s world. Both genres are opposites of each other, but they both are on the edges of mainstream. Country and rap music may stand alone and share binary oppositions such as lifestyles, however rap culture has influenced country music in today s world which can be seen through the lyrics. In the book Religion in Hip Hop , Anthony B. Pinn and Monica R. Miller states, Now a global and transnational phenomenon US based hip hop culture has become a vital component of political, religious, educational, economic progress, relevance, and recognition. Hip hop is becoming the most vital cultural forces to be known in the world. Many country artists and other artists are starting to focus more on having hip hop in their music such as Florida Georgia Line. Hip hop has made its way up to the top of music and has let listeners realize the culture of Hip hop and how rappers have been raised up in life. Anthony points out, Over the past two decades, those who have taken up hip hop culture for its intellectual weight and contributions to the cultural life and self understanding of the United States have come from a variety of methodological disciples (Anthony Pinn). Hip hop has explored and changed the cultural out looks on today s ideas. Even though Hip hop has become known for seeing the cultural side of the ideas in their songs, country music has become a native art form. In Country Music ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Alienation In Gods And Monsters By Lana Del Rey For many aspiring people, life tends to be a struggle for happiness. Whether old or young, rich or poor, timid or bold, people often find themselves pressured by society to change, or else they will be rejected. Under this overwhelming pressure that one may face at some point in his or her life, the victim will forcibly conform to the confined margins of popular society the one that states that everyone must be the same in both mentality and body image. In the song Gods Monsters, Lana Del Rey emphasizes the importance of self identity through her narrative of alienation in Hollywood. Using an eerie tune with supernatural metaphors relating her life to the evils of Hollywood, Del Rey ultimately conveys that every life is unique and beautiful. Gods Monsters was written by Lana Del Rey and released on her album Paradise in late 2012, just as she made her major debut into the music industry. The alternative pop hit bears an unusually dark atmosphere and soft spooky vocals from Lana Del Rey. The song emphasizes an early struggle of isolation that Lana faced as she was gaining weight in the music industry. In 2014, Gods Monsters was featured in a musical scene on an episode of the horror TV series ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... As she entered Hollywood, Lana lost her innocence. Coming to L.A., Lana was looking to get fucked hard. While most listeners may take this line as a piece of trashy, sexual promiscuity, it most likely beholds a deeper meaning that Lana is no longer an innocent freshman in the school of Hollywood. She is no longer blinded by the naivety that she had when she came to Hollywood. Lana repeatedly echoes this perception throughout the song several times, singing, It s innocence lost, innocence lost (Del Rey). She can see the world for the monsters that it comprises. However, Lana now realizes what she must decline to preserve her self identity and true ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 5. Tom Hanks, And Malala Yousafzai Integrity and Success What is the line between cheating and just helping out? Is there a hierarchy of honesty which places people into categories based on the extent of their cheating? Whether or not there are different levels of dishonesty, people often sacrifice their integrity in order to succeed. However, is this always the best method of getting ahead in life? While it may be easier to excel in the professional world by cheating, Tom Hanks, Simon Cowell, and Malala Yousafzai have proven that success can come from being honest, and that one does not have to sacrifice his integrity to achieve. Actors and celebrities may enjoy the spotlight constantly surrounding them, but their massive fame and success never come without a backstory of hard work and dedication. While sometimes, fame comes easier by cheating, being dishonest, and using unfair advantages to get ahead, there are some celebrities whose brutal honesty and integrity have helped them gain fame and respect from their followers. One prime example would be actor Tom Hanks, whose success in movies cannot be understated. Hanks was ranked number one on the Forbes E Score list of most trustworthy celebrities (Pomerantz). • 6. Romanticism In Fredrick Douglass Critics struggle to fit Douglass s narrative into a literary genre, some believe it fits within the realm of Romanticism while others argue his narrative belongs under Realism. In nineteen century America, the African American voice was missing from literature. Slave narratives were not taken seriously and most slaves were not taught how to read or write. Douglass s was a self taught slave his narrative was a game changer Douglass was considered an intellectual and respected by most as a reputable author. Douglass s narrative is difficult to place within genre because it has aspects of both realism and romanticism. This means, that Douglass s work does not need to have actually happened to be considered a realistic narrative, it just needs to seem like it could have happened and is a normal occurrence for slaves. After considering this, there are reasons that this narrative became so popular. Douglass s narrative does not portray an everyday occurrence of American slavery it is about one man who, with luck on his side, made it to freedom. Every slave did suffer, slaves were beaten, raped, whipped, and worked to death this narrative does catch the sorrow of slave life but it goes out of the ordinary. The famous line You have seen how a man was made a slave; you shall see how a slave was made a man. (Douglass, 73) is a chasm used to exemplify this. Overcoming oppression in the scene where Douglass takes on Mr. Covey the slave breaker (Douglass, 66) would not be a normal occurrence, Douglass triumphs and becomes the embodiment of a romantic hero. To overcome Covey, Douglas creates a need to invent a self outside of the active oppression around him. (Wessel). Instead of being realistic, this narrative is an example of propaganda, Douglass romanticises the fight to get his readers attention, to give slaves hope, and to grasp Northerners following in joining the abolitionists. Amy Tan goes into great detail to describe these womens sense of self and the circumstances behind it. Ying Ying is an example. She began life with a great self esteem and slowly transformed into a ghost with no self at all. She deteriorated from a wild, adventurous Tiger woman to a quiet, conservative Dragon. She says of herself and her daughter that, We are lost, she and I, unseen and not seeing, unheard and not hearing, unknown by other (Tan 64). Ying Ying was born with a Tiger spirit who possessed two ways, black and gold. The gold leaps with its fierce heart. The black side stands still with cunning, hiding its gold between trees, seeing and not being seen, waiting patiently for things to come (Tan 282). There was not enough space between the student s chair for an adult to walk through. Turning those five groups into U shape gives the teacher an opportunity to address every child s work in one place instead of bumping into another child for space. I gave extra space in between the groups for more clear traffic patterns for the children to walk to the carpet, their cubbies, or other areas of the room. After arranging them like this there is even more space in the classroom which hopefully prevents chaos. Another area I modified in this classroom is the Cubby Area. The cubbies in my CT s class are in an L shape against the far left corner. Every morning and afternoon the children and pushing and bumping into each other. By putting them straight and against the left wall gives the children more space to gather or put up their belongings in turn makes it safer. There is a large, clear walkway to the cubbies for the students and plenty of space to line up in front of the classroom door. In the top left corner is the new reading area. It has a bookcase that is easily accessible to the students along with two bean bags for the children to sit on while reading. First, the concept of namespaces will be described along with an overview of the default name spaces available in the Linux operating system. The Linux Network Name Space is a key enabler for some high profile virtualization technologies including OpenStack and Docker. Linux Name Spaces Linux consists of the following six namespaces: Network Network Namespace PID Process Namespace Mount Filesystem Namespace User User Namespace IPC Interprocess Communication Namespace UTS Host and NIS Namespace Linux namespaces can be traced back to early UNIX technologies called chroot, process jails controlled where access is controlled with cgroups. The concept of a namespace is to isolate processes from other processes on the system. This concept evolved into namespaces that are created with clone() system call and manipulated with the setns() and unshare() system calls. The clone() system call is used when creating child namespace from a parent or root namespace. As the name would suggest this creates a clone of an existing stack. The setns() system call is used to join a namespace. The unshare() system call is used for moving processes into a namespace, as the name suggests the process ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Women were considered the weaker of the sexes and, thus, were expected to remain in the home and perform their domestic duties, while the men were to be rulers and bread winners. The woman s voice was not heard on any issues affecting the society as her opinions were thought unworthy of consideration. She was required merely to reproduce, to execute her domestic duties well and to submit incontestably to the authority of the men. The most important role of women in ancient Greece, especially married women, was considered to be the production of lawful children and the execution if household chores. Also she was required to literally remain inside the home, except she was attending a special event as in those days women found in the streets were either assumed to be enslaved, a harlot, a concubine or a woman who had to find work outside of the home because of poverty (Thompson, par.8). It was also considered respectable for a woman to remain out of sight and audible range when the man of the house had guests. Evidently, women of ancient Greece were subjected to what modern day women may consider harsh and unfair treatment as a result of some irrational beliefs and practices that were given judicial recognition. Because of fear of facing the consequences that may arise from contesting these laws, many women living during that period made no attempt to do so. So they remained as they were considered to be weak and helpless because of fear. Sophocles mythical anecdote of Antigone, however, shows the apparently unseen characteristics of women, though not all women, in ancient Greece. It s not that you don t love them, it s not that you re bored with them, but the simple fact that you have outgrown the person you thought you might spend the rest of your life with. When two people go their separate ways and choose to breakup, the person who ends it, is fed up the most, but at what cost? Almost everyone you know that has been in a long relationship and has broken up, has been conflicted on how to end it. If you follow the five steps MCPSR, meditate, conversate, plan the date, separate, and reevaluate you will be single without worry. The first thing you do not want to do is jump to conclusions, and end the relationship without thought. Because if you end the relationship this way, you will regret it later. You will feel guilty about the way you handled the situation, and from perspective of the significant other, you, my friend are going to be resented for forever and a day. The first approach is to meditate, or take some me time. Me time is what one likes to call time that no is around to bother you and make you wish you were on death road laying in your casket with your phone in your hand about to make your last life changing tweet before taking your last breath. When taking your me time, you need to think about all of the good and all of the bad in your relationship. If you can t pin it on the first try, attempt to write it down. Make two columns, on one side write good and on the other write bad. When doing this you are listing all of the good things and all of the bad things in your relationship, this helps you way your options on whether to end it or attempt to save it. This lasted until the early 2000 s when the bases turned to (some say) over the top emphasis on self expression and negative connotations were implied; emotion and sadness thus stereotyping the word we so often hear today. God has four different attributes, he is omniscient, simple, eternal and omnipotent. The latter raises some difficulties, and paradoxes. In a first part I will show how omnipotence can be defined differently, how radical omnipotence differs with limited omnipotence and the issue with logic. Then I will show how God s omnipotence raises some paradoxes and contradictions, by relying on the paradox of the stone and the problem of evil. Finally I will try to answer some questions concerning God s ability to sin, to bring about the past, and to do things not done by him. Does God s powers have a limit, could it then be ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... (Mackie, 1955)The claim that evil is necessary as a counterpart to good (Mackie, 1955, p.203) errs, indeed we can again assert that as God made the laws of logic it would be possible for only good to exist in the world. Nevertheless the existence of evil in the world is required to prove what good really is. Without evil, everything, every actions are considered good. But if good is everywhere, it becomes difficult to measure it, and we cannot compare it with other actions. To be good is to possess and display moral virtue, but how can we do that if evil does not exist ? Good has to be opposed to evil, for it to exist. It then does not distract it with God s omnipotence. Mackie (1955) reckons that first order evil such as pain and misery contrasts with first order good pleasure and happiness . Moreover a second order good such as sympathy can only exist if there is a second order evil suffering , similarly with heroism in facing danger (Mackie, 1955, p.206). But according to Mackie this claim fails, in fact the second order evil that is cowardice or cruelty (Mackie, 1955, p.207) is rising as much as another second order good. And if God were omnipotent and morally good he would try and eliminate those evils. Regarding evil and omnipotence many philosophers have taken the position that human have freewill and are independent of God. And that ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 28. Understand The Effect Of Solar Plasma On Earth s... 2nd P: To understand the effects of solar plasma on Earth s magnetosphere, one must look at the creation of plasma in the early days of the sun. The sun s creation is similar to the process in the explosion of a hydrogen bomb, only with the energy created equaling the force of 10 billion hydrogen bombs per second. When the sun was originally forming, hydrogen gas in the middle was crushed from weight above. Eventually, the pressures and temperatures reached such an intense point to where the hydrogen atoms broke apart into electrons and photons, thus, creating plasma. Photons from the explosion of electrons and protons are made so fast and so many at a time that it creates the observed power of the sun. This reaches us as sunlight. Even though the process of the energy created is relatively quick, the process in which the photons travel to Earth happens over a long time within the Sun s layers. On one end of the loop exists a positive while the other end is negative. Plasma underneath stirs the poles and pumps numerous amounts of energy into them. However, if the poles are twisted enough the loops cross which creates a short circuit resulting in a tremendous outward explosion. The result is a solar flare. This paper will emphasize the issues that can influence drop out rates and the importance and need of an appropriate intervention. Drop out rates, whether difficult to measure accurately, continue to steadily increase, especially for minorities (low SES students, African Americans, and Hispanics). Dropping out of high school is a very significant issue, not just for the individual itself, but also for society (Rumberger, 1983). Psychological factors also play an important role in Rumberger s study; findings have shown that high levels of confidence, sociability and educational aspirations can distinguish graduate students from dropouts. Among other important factors linked to possible dropouts are family backgrounds, and school settings. Families have a great impact when it comes to school interest and the motivation to stay in school. One study by Hill and Stafford (1977) shows that better educated parents have shown to influence their children s educational aspirations and drive to stay in school (Rumberger, 1983). In addition, a strong parent children communication about their parental expectations for their children s education has shown a relationship to school achievement (Strom Boster, 2007). Schools play a very important role as well; students can lose motivation and become less engaged in school if they cannot find a connection with their school. George Washington was well respected among the public, which is why he was elected as the first president of America after the U.S. had officially become independent from Britain. Moreover, Thomas Jefferson was also a well respected leader and believed in economic equality for everyone. Overall they both helped shape America for the better in the ways they led the country throughout their presidency. Washington was a man of character and rarely used force to settle issues. During the Whiskey Rebellion, which was caused by the tax placed on whiskey, George Washington personally led his troops to go stop the rebellion. This was the first realization of the need for a stronger central government. Although many Americans did not like the strong central government style of leading because it reminded them of their past rulership, it was needed for America to become stable. Fairness Doctrine Pros And Cons Kayla Mallari Professor Hogen Esch Pols 155 The Fairness Doctrine was a policy established by the Federal Communications Commission, that states those with broadcast license such as radio stations and television programs must present controversial public issues in way that is honest, balanced, and fair within the time of their program. The policy was passed by Congress in 1949, its main concern was that diverse views and controversial issues that regard the public be available for society to be aware of. This also entitled political programs to present opposing sides of an issue. Broadcasters had obligation to show the public the spectrum of an argument. Furthermore the doctrine also includes that the broadcasters must allow anyone being ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The repeal has given broadcasters the power to dismiss issues or state them in a manner that is bias. Ralph Nader an American politic activist explains that without the Fairness Doctrine public issues, including women s rights, the health effects of smoking, and the safety of nuclear power plants, would not have not been apparent to society. Many have considered the reinstatement of the Fairness Doctrine, in 2005 by U.S Representative Louise Slaughter, in 2007 by Senator Richard Durbin, then again in 2008. In my opinion I think the Fairness Doctrine should be reinstated but also reevaluated and revived so that it fits are society today. The doctrine should include factors that still protect the first amendment but enables the public to be knowledgeable of issues, in which they can form their own opinions on. News and other media today is very bias and provides entertainment rather than knowledge of current news that impact our lives. I believe the public needs to be fully aware of issue and political views in a broad spectrum rather than the bias view of the broadcasters ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Observing problems in concrete form aids in my understanding and therefore the solution. Conversely, the drawing of the diagram in a two dimensional form helped to deliver the correct answer. I approached this question with the required knowledge and confidence to solve it immediately. Question 5, NAPLAN (Year 9 non calculator), ACARA (2012) Approach: The approach used to solve this scale was ratio set up in the form of a fraction. Workings: To calculate the ratio, the actual length measurement is divided by the drawing length measurement. The measurements need to be represented in fraction form. The drawing length is 4cm and the actual length is 8mm. Actual length over the drawing length: 8mm/4cm. Simplify this fraction by determining the largest common denominator of both numbers. The largest common denominator of both numbers is 4. 8mm/4cm : 2mm/1cm . Drawing length becomes 1cm and actual length becomes 2mm. The scale is 1cm represents 2mm. Another way to solve this question would be by using data measurement with the mathematical concept of division, using part/whole method. Both shapes were square and would be able to be divided equally. Using the part/whole method and establishing the number four was one of the common denominators for both lengths. DL = 4cm. 4cm ÷ 4 = 1cm : AL = 8mm. 8mm ÷ 4 = 2mm Scale of drawing = 1cm represents 2mm I was confident ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 43. A Long, Enduring History The planet that we reside on has a long, enduring history. Today, remnants can still be found that tell the history of the land, and of its inhabitants; many of these remnants, however, have been destroyed over time. The Bamiyan Valley in Afghanistan has a rich and complicated history that continues up to the present day. The residents of Bamiyan live neighboring a wall of cliffs, speckled with caves. Bordering the city on each side, two abandoned niches are carved into the cliff face, each towering over 100 meters. These great niches once held two Buddha statues that looked out over the Bamiyan Valley, but now stand empty. Once a witness to the history of the area, these Buddhas were destroyed in 2001 when the Taliban, a terrorist group, destroyed them due to their religious imagery. Since their destruction, the international community has risen up in protest, and endless discussions on its reconstruction have been hashed out as further studies are done on the remains. The interaction with religious ideology complicates and stigmatizes the situation, causing many discussions to go nowhere. The Bamiyan Buddhas hold significant cultural value, providing not only a religious sanctuary for many, but also by attracting travelers with their beauty. By leaving the niches empty, we risk the well being of the Bamiyan Valley, as well as a loss of a key part of history. In restoring the Buddhas, the international community can also see it as a restoration of the Bamiyan Valley ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 44. The Fashion Choices People Make Should Not Define Who They... The fashion choices people make should not define who they are. People should be judged based on their actions and not by their fashion choices. Passing judgement based on looks can hurt others and cause issues in society. Some people are required to dress in a certain fashion, but that does not determine whether they are good or bad. I chose this argument topic because it involves my major in fashion and also an issue for which I can relate. The study of fashion and sociology can relate in some ways, therefore, this would be an interesting argumentative research topic. The first key point that I can use in my essay would be that children, especially teenagers, are judge by their peers based on their fashion choices. This claim supports my argument by showing that teenagers that are judged harshly, often feel forced to dress a certain way to be accepted. The second key point that I can use is that people of different cultures are expected to behave a certain way or have certain beliefs based on their attire. This key point supports my argument to show that stereotyping people based in their culture can cause result in issues within society. The last key point that I can use is that fashion choices express how someone feels and not how they are. Someone s style of fashion can change at any time or frequency, depending on how he or she feels at certain times, or in a specific situation. The audience that will be reading my essay will be my instructor or anyone else that is ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

This feeling of being in control of so much is God like you could argue. However, I m not here to talk about what technology is overall, I m going to explain if teenagers are essentially to connected to technology and out of touch with the real world, and the answer I have come up with after researching and my own experiences is yes, teens are too connected.
