Firstly, I would like thank Mrs. Gayatri Bhardwaj, the Founder and Management Director
and Mr. Shudhir Bhardwaj, the Chief Executive Officer of Globuzz Events for giving me
an opportunity to pursue an internship with Globuzz, Dubai.. For me it has been an
experience to be in Dubai and to work for the organization. It also helped in my interest
and make plans for my future.
I would really like to thank Mr. Chirag Soni our Mentor in the organization, Ms. Lolita
D’souza, Ms. Matilda, Ms Nicollette , M. Ajju Jose ,Mr. Vijeet Vijayan, Ms. Joan Castillo ,

2. UNDERSTANDING:
Internship is like a job but includes lots of practical learning for a fresher. It is a kind of
practical experience which helps in expanding the Learning’s and helps in building a
prior knowledge in the field in which I am working. And the main thing is that if a work is
given to anyone in your team then it your responsibility automatically as he/she is on
your team.
3. OBJECTIVE
At the beginning of the internship I formulated several learning goals which I wanted to
achieve were:
o The functioning and working of the corporate world as I am a Fresher.
o What it is like to work in a corporate organization?
o What my limits can be?
o How capable am I?
o To learn about organizing and planning for any project.
o To go on the field and attend corporate meetings and experience the
same.
o To improve my communication in a professional work environment.
o Learn to Generate new ideas and try to Learn more about innovative
thinking

 Scope of work:Use the details providedforcreatingideas,activitiesandtoincrease the footfall
to attract the customers.
 Accomplishment:We came upwith16 Ideasall togetherforAbu Dhabi ShoppingFestival
 Experience:Itwasgoodexperience asthiswasthe firsttime we all sattogetherandtriedto
complete the firstprojectontime.The learningwastobe able to generate executionable ideas
ina limitedspanof time.

i.e.“The Royal IndiaWellnessShow”whichisgoingto be heldinJune,2015.
 ProjectObjective:Togetthe email addressandthe contact no. of the marketinghead orthe
managerto whomwe can we can senda Proposal forOur Royal IndiaWellnessMagazine.
 Scope of work:Providedwithlistof all the targetedhospitals,saloons,healthclubs,spaswith
more than 1150 contacts the workwas dividedbetween3people.
 Accomplishment:made the pitchforthe advertisementproposal andwe made around1150
callsto Hotel,Spaand Saloonall together.The workwasdone on time withthe follow upof all
the contacts.
 Experience:Helpedinknowinghow tododata generation of a companyi.e.how datafor
anythinginthe companyisgeneratedandhow importantitis to have a correct and simple pitch
of yourideaso thatother people canunderstandeasilyandcanconnectwithyou.

 Scope of work: had to thinkbroader,hadfull accesstoany area inthe school,generating
activitieswhichwouldbe simpleandeffectivetechniques,consideringthe maintargetaudience
was ParentsandCorporate.
 Accomplishment:Generated3mainIdeaswhichare Seminars,inter-school competitionand
SummerSchool.
 Experience:thiswasthe firsttime workedalone onsucha bigproject.It wasa good experience
as it allowedme topushmyLimitsup andtestwhere I am and where Ican be.

such as Cinthol soaps, AERroomfreshenerproductsandhairexpertproducts.
 Scope of work: The scope of workwas creatingplansforactivationof the productsand
designingactivitiestointroduce the Godrej products tocustomers.
 Accomplishment:Appliedconceptsforretail activationof Godrej inLuluHypermarketsand
storesand we came up withIdeas10 all togetherfor the PROJECT.
 Experience: Tryto empathize yourself withthe customer,sothatwhenyoustandthere youare
readyto buythe product,so the ideasshouldcome accordingly .

that lateron we can tell themaboutthe serviceswhich the companycanprovide.
 Accomplishment:Successfullygeneratedthe listof the companieswiththe details
 Experience:Itwasa laboriousactivity,since itwasa huge listof exhibitersandgettingcontact
detailsof the Headswasnot so easy,learnedhow dataisgenerated andmade me think
appreciate the value of suchdata and wonderhow thiscan be made simplerinthe future

7. Professional and Personal Experience:
Organizing Project: During the internship I have done field work for “WOW MOM” at
“Al Wadha Mall”. Because of this I have seen aspects one needs to think of while
organizing a project (Equipments, permissions.) I have learned how an activity can be
set up to seek attention of the public.
Before internship I did not have any experience in events management and had no idea
how it works. Now I have an idea how to handle an event and what all are the aspects
regarding the same. In the near future I would like to work for the same.
Working in another Country: The internship was an opportunity to get immersed on a
deeper level in another culture. It was really inspiring to see how other people live. It
helped me to look at things with different perspective.
I did not felt difficulty in understanding the language; I did face difficulties caused by
different cultural background. An internship abroad was also a good way for me to see
whether I able to work outside the home country. I adjusted really fast to a different
way of living.

8. Conclusion
On the whole this internship was a useful Experience. I gained new knowledge, skills and
met many new people. I achieved my learning goals.
I got insights into professional practice. I learned different facets of working in an Events
Management company. Learned that innovation and simplicity in the major factor for
the progress of the project. There is still lot to discover and to improve.
The internship was also good to find out what my strengths and weaknesses are. This
helped me to define what skills and knowledge I have to improve in the coming time.
Lastly this internship has given me new insights and motivation to pursue a career in the
marketing field.

9.Further Projects:
I would love to work further more with your Organization as it has been a great
learning experience. I request to the organization to associate with our institution
and provide with projects for each specialization, so that everyone could have
those learning which I have experienced. If can learn why cannot my batch
mates/rivals/competitors so that the competition becomes more even.
The main thing I want that I want to see my institution growing with me as it is
just a 5yr young institution with lots of talent.

10. Recommendation
Markets are demanding better and greater Innovation. Customers are having higher
expectations. May be this is the area where we are lacking behind. The company needs
lots of innovative thinking plus with the smart work. We all know people here are very
hard workers but the main point where we lack behind is the innovation due to one or
another issues. I would suggest there should an hour session in every organization
where we can sit together and the employees can brainstorm on the regular problems
that we are facing. So that they can work with their free mind.
Second thing would be that please try to manage and complete the task in the time
which the company has pitched.
Thirdly I think people here in the organization can do wonders, but they are not able to I
don’t know the insights as I am an intern, but from what I have observed and learned
this the thing which I like the most that people have the amazing quality and talent. May
be it is the motivation factor. Motivation is lacking in the eployess.

  • 3. 2 Acknowledgement Firstly, I would like thank Mrs. Gayatri Bhardwaj, the Founder and Management Director and Mr. Shudhir Bhardwaj, the Chief Executive Officer of Globuzz Events for giving me an opportunity to pursue an internship with Globuzz, Dubai.. For me it has been an experience to be in Dubai and to work for the organization. It also helped in my interest and make plans for my future.   • 6. 5 2. UNDERSTANDING: Internship is like a job but includes lots of practical learning for a fresher. It is a kind of practical experience which helps in expanding the Learning’s and helps in building a prior knowledge in the field in which I am working. And the main thing is that if a work is given to anyone in your team then it your responsibility automatically as he/she is on your team. 3. OBJECTIVE At the beginning of the internship I formulated several learning goals which I wanted to achieve were: o The functioning and working of the corporate world as I am a Fresher. o What it is like to work in a corporate organization? o What my limits can be? o How capable am I? o To learn about organizing and planning for any project. o To go on the field and attend corporate meetings and experience the same. o To improve my communication in a professional work environment. o Learn to Generate new ideas and try to Learn more about innovative thinking 4. Generatinglistof contactdetailsof the headof purchasingdepartmentwiththeirEmail idso that lateron we can tell themaboutthe serviceswhich the companycanprovide.  Accomplishment:Successfullygeneratedthe listof the companieswiththe details  Experience:Itwasa laboriousactivity,since itwasa huge listof exhibitersandgettingcontact detailsof the Headswasnot so easy,learnedhow dataisgenerated andmade me think appreciate the value of suchdata and wonderhow thiscan be made simplerinthe future

  • 21. 20 7. Professional and Personal Experience: Organizing Project: During the internship I have done field work for “WOW MOM” at “Al Wadha Mall”. Because of this I have seen aspects one needs to think of while organizing a project (Equipments, permissions.) I have learned how an activity can be set up to seek attention of the public. Before internship I did not have any experience in events management and had no idea how it works. Now I have an idea how to handle an event and what all are the aspects regarding the same. In the near future I would like to work for the same. Working in another Country: The internship was an opportunity to get immersed on a deeper level in another culture. It was really inspiring to see how other people live. It helped me to look at things with different perspective. I did not felt difficulty in understanding the language; I did face difficulties caused by different cultural background. An internship abroad was also a good way for me to see whether I able to work outside the home country. I adjusted really fast to a different way of living.
  • 22. 21 8. Conclusion On the whole this internship was a useful Experience. I gained new knowledge, skills and met many new people. I achieved my learning goals. I got insights into professional practice. I learned different facets of working in an Events Management company. Learned that innovation and simplicity in the major factor for the progress of the project. There is still lot to discover and to improve. The internship was also good to find out what my strengths and weaknesses are. This helped me to define what skills and knowledge I have to improve in the coming time. Lastly this internship has given me new insights and motivation to pursue a career in the marketing field.
  • 23. 22 9.Further Projects: I would love to work further more with your Organization as it has been a great learning experience. I request to the organization to associate with our institution and provide with projects for each specialization, so that everyone could have those learning which I have experienced. If can learn why cannot my batch mates/rivals/competitors so that the competition becomes more even. The main thing I want that I want to see my institution growing with me as it is just a 5yr young institution with lots of talent.
  • 24. 23 10. Recommendation Markets are demanding better and greater Innovation. Customers are having higher expectations. May be this is the area where we are lacking behind. The company needs lots of innovative thinking plus with the smart work. We all know people here are very hard workers but the main point where we lack behind is the innovation due to one or another issues. I would suggest there should an hour session in every organization where we can sit together and the employees can brainstorm on the regular problems that we are facing. So that they can work with their free mind. Second thing would be that please try to manage and complete the task in the time which the company has pitched. Thirdly I think people here in the organization can do wonders, but they are not able to I don’t know the insights as I am an intern, but from what I have observed and learned this the thing which I like the most that people have the amazing quality and talent. May be it is the motivation factor. Motivation is lacking in the eployess. ___________________________Thank You______________________________
