Group 12 would like to pitch the idea of a television show called “South of the Office”. Our show is a remix of The Office and South Park. The premise of the show is that Michael Scott, regional manager of the Scranton branch of Dunder Mifflin, Inc. is looking to hire new salesmen. He posts an advertisement in all the newspapers around the country trying to recruit “young, energetic people that have the heart of a child and enjoy making a lot of paper for immediate hire”. At the same time, the children of South Park are trying to make paper (a.k.a. a lot of money) and move to a big city. They look through the ads in the paper and see Michael’s posting. After realizing that it is in a big city like Scranton and that they perfectly fit the description Michael had asked for, they decide to apply for the position. Michael invites them to come to Scranton for a face-to-face interview. When they arrive, everyone in the office once again questions Michael’s judgment. But, as usual, Michael will go on with his plans with no delay. He brings the boys into his office and proceeds with the interview as if it were very serious. The pilot episode ends with the audience wondering “Will Michael hire them?”.
