University of Benin (UNIBEN) emerged for the first
time, the university of first choice among Applicants
with almost a 100,000 applications. Up until now, the
University of Lagos (UNILAG) has been the first
choices with 93,562 applicants in UTME 2011
However; in UTME 2013, the University of Ilorin
(UNILORIN) (94,869) and Nnamdi Azikwe University
(NAU) beat UNILAG to the 2nd and 3rd position,
UNILAG emerged 4th with 86,850 application
The explanation to this may not be far from ApplicantApplicantApplicantApplicant
:::: AdmissionAdmissionAdmissionAdmission ratio of UNILAG in time past, which is less
than 10%. Nevertheless, there is no doubt that it is still
the dream of thousands.
