Question 1
Charismatic leadership is mainly defined as a leader who implements communication skills,
making quick decisions and charms to connect with people on more conceptual levels.
Charismatic skills have an ability to communicate with all people on a broader level.
In Wren’s text Charismatic leadership is applied for solving the crisis of leadership and to
guide people in the right direction. The actual need for true leadership is to fulfill the major
requirements of all followers. The main notion of charismatic leadership is to make rapid
decisions during tough times and to be more responsible during tough times. According to
Wren’s theory the main objective of leadership is to generate creative ideas which cannot be
trained or taught (Wren 1995).
Question 2
Eight main techniques for developing Charismatic leaderships are “Emotional Intelligence”,
“Courage”, “Authenticity”, “Presence”, “Inspiration”, “Communication”, “Appearance” and
“Self Esteem” .
I will choose “Inspiration” and “Courage” to strengthen my area in guiding others towards
the right direction.
Inspiration- I will take inspiration from the successful leaders and will maintain values of
the team when guiding them in the proper direction. Self commitment will be the key and
essential value of charismatic leadership (Dublin, 2013).
Courage - I will develop courage in taking calculated risks for ensuring success to the team.
This technique of charismatic leadership will make me more patient and will try to solve the
problems of all people.
Question 3
For becoming a good leader, morale character is given more priority to excel in leadership.
Leadership traits are hereditary and are not acquired by learning and self training. I also
observed that the character of a leader is dependent on major core values like trust, self
integrity, trust and human respect that are largely dependent on ethics, behavior and vision.
The character of leadership excellence is dependent on charismatic leadership and to
depend more on mentorship.
Criticisms that are made on charismatic leadership have huge implications in spreading
negative over an individual’s life due to increased composition and power. I have seen that
some of the charismatic leaders misguide and narcissistic approaches lead to
self destruction and unethical behavior. Other main criticisms that are made for
charismatic leaders is that the followers are not interested in answering the questions of the
leaders due to enormous pressure from the leaders.
Question 4
The followers and leaders don't function simultaneously in a constrained and business
environment that is connected in a business environment. The art of leadership has a
proper understanding in the entire process of leadership. For accomplishing tasks the entire
leadership group is divided into smaller groups for better development and to train the
group more effectively. Charismatic leaders will take effective decisions in managing the
problems that the whole group is facing. Problem solving approaches need to be developed
for hassle free communications with the leaders. Tasks need to be accomplished within
a proper time frame for becoming a true leader.
Question 5
a> James Mac Gregor introduced the main functions and process of “Transformational
Leadership” in the year 1978.
b>Transactional Leadership
It is defined as a method from which leaders and their subordinates raise others to
advanced levels for receiving motivation and morality.
Transformational Leadership
It is defined as an approach in leadership that mainly causes a lot of changes in both social
and individual systems. It helps in developing a lot of positive changes in transforming
followers to leaders (Hyun, 2020)
Similarities
Both styles consist of both followers and leaders to receive a benefit from one another. Both
of the styles are highly inspirational and motivating.
Differences
Transformational leadership helps to focus more on mission and vision that motivates
subordinates to focus more on expectations.
Transactional Leadership relies more on an intrinsic approach in achieving jobs tasks.
Transactional Leadership From Transformational Leadership
Transactional Leaders motivate followers in achieving a particular objective and hence both
leaders and followers are greatly benefited. Therefore the relationship between leaders and
followers is improved which is the cause of transactional leadership.
c>Transformational leadership is mainly a transformational process that teaches a
respective individual to develop the potential leadership through phases. It creates both
vision and mission in inspiration and motivation (Andriani, Kesumawati & Kristiawan,
2018)..
d> Main characteristics of Transformational Leadership are as follows:
Ability to believe in team members.
Must be open in innovative thinking.
Active Listening

Simplification Approach
In transformational leadership, rational and simplified thinking plays a huge role in guiding
a team in the right direction (Bernarto,2020).
Creativity
Innovative thinking and business ideas play a huge role in enhancing the creativity of
leaders in solving problems that are encountered within the team.
Motivation
Proper individual motivation serves as a huge role in motivating teammates and to
encourage people in taking new business decisions.
Question 6
I have observed that personal leadership creates self awareness and challenges that helps in
creating a proper dimension that reflects on leadership. It helps in moving mainly solely on
action bais and is constantly into the learning phase. Effective leaders have detailed insights
in decision making procedures. Both awareness and challenges are added in making proper
new insights in a collaborative approach. In my opinion, leaders need to be more aware and
need to be attentive in gaining new experiences.
Question 7
1> The main qualities of a leader are influential approach, motivation and decision making
approach that is important in business expansion.
2> The leader needs to guide the team in the proper direction for ensuring the success of a
specific organization. It is the main function of a leader in accomplishing the success of an
organization that plays a huge role (Thompson & Glasø, 2018).
3> Proper motivation and influence of team members helps the subordinates in
accomplishing goals and main objectives. A leader needs to fulfill the success of an
organization in guiding the team in the right direction, goals and visions.
4> In achieving the main organization goal, one needs to guide the team with proper
confidence and during adverse situations. A responsible leader needs to understand the
main power and to take a lot of responsibility in both failures and success.

BUS402 Project Management Answers Question 1 Charismatic leadership is mainly defined as a leader who implements communication skills, making quick decisions and charms to connect with people on more conceptual levels. Charismatic skills have an ability to communicate with all people on a broader level. In Wren’s text Charismatic leadership is applied for solving the crisis of leadership and to guide people in the right direction. The actual need for true leadership is to fulfill the major requirements of all followers. The main notion of charismatic leadership is to make rapid decisions during tough times and to be more responsible during tough times. According to Wren’s theory the main objective of leadership is to generate creative ideas which cannot be trained or taught (Wren 1995). Question 2 Eight main techniques for developing Charismatic leaderships are “Emotional Intelligence”, “Courage”, “Authenticity”, “Presence”, “Inspiration”, “Communication”, “Appearance” and “Self Esteem” . I will choose “Inspiration” and “Courage” to strengthen my area in guiding others towards the right direction. Inspiration- I will take inspiration from the successful leaders and will maintain values of the team when guiding them in the proper direction. Self commitment will be the key and essential value of charismatic leadership (Dublin, 2013). Courage - I will develop courage in taking calculated risks for ensuring success to the team. This technique of charismatic leadership will make me more patient and will try to solve the problems of all people. Question 3
  • 2. For becoming a good leader, morale character is given more priority to excel in leadership. Leadership traits are hereditary and are not acquired by learning and self training. I also observed that the character of a leader is dependent on major core values like trust, self integrity, trust and human respect that are largely dependent on ethics, behavior and vision. The character of leadership excellence is dependent on charismatic leadership and to depend more on mentorship. Criticisms that are made on charismatic leadership have huge implications in spreading negative over an individual’s life due to increased composition and power. I have seen that some of the charismatic leaders misguide and narcissistic approaches lead to self destruction and unethical behavior. Other main criticisms that are made for charismatic leaders is that the followers are not interested in answering the questions of the leaders due to enormous pressure from the leaders. Question 4 The followers and leaders don't function simultaneously in a constrained and business environment that is connected in a business environment. The art of leadership has a proper understanding in the entire process of leadership. For accomplishing tasks the entire leadership group is divided into smaller groups for better development and to train the group more effectively. Charismatic leaders will take effective decisions in managing the problems that the whole group is facing. Problem solving approaches need to be developed for hassle free communications with the leaders. Tasks need to be accomplished within a proper time frame for becoming a true leader. Question 5 a> James Mac Gregor introduced the main functions and process of “Transformational Leadership” in the year 1978. b>Transactional Leadership It is defined as a method from which leaders and their subordinates raise others to advanced levels for receiving motivation and morality. Transformational Leadership It is defined as an approach in leadership that mainly causes a lot of changes in both social and individual systems. It helps in developing a lot of positive changes in transforming followers to leaders (Hyun, 2020) Similarities
  • 3. Both styles consist of both followers and leaders to receive a benefit from one another. Both of the styles are highly inspirational and motivating. Differences Transformational leadership helps to focus more on mission and vision that motivates subordinates to focus more on expectations. Transactional Leadership relies more on an intrinsic approach in achieving jobs tasks. Transactional Leadership From Transformational Leadership Transactional Leaders motivate followers in achieving a particular objective and hence both leaders and followers are greatly benefited. Therefore the relationship between leaders and followers is improved which is the cause of transactional leadership. c>Transformational leadership is mainly a transformational process that teaches a respective individual to develop the potential leadership through phases. It creates both vision and mission in inspiration and motivation (Andriani, Kesumawati & Kristiawan, 2018).. d> Main characteristics of Transformational Leadership are as follows: Ability to believe in team members. Must be open in innovative thinking. Active Listening e>Nine transformations made by transformational leaders are as follows: Simplification approach New thinking Self Determination Creativity Risk taking approach Team goals Collaboration Motivation Focus Simplification Approach In transformational leadership, rational and simplified thinking plays a huge role in guiding a team in the right direction (Bernarto,2020).
  • 4. Creativity Innovative thinking and business ideas play a huge role in enhancing the creativity of leaders in solving problems that are encountered within the team. Motivation Proper individual motivation serves as a huge role in motivating teammates and to encourage people in taking new business decisions. Question 6 I have observed that personal leadership creates self awareness and challenges that helps in creating a proper dimension that reflects on leadership. It helps in moving mainly solely on action bais and is constantly into the learning phase. Effective leaders have detailed insights in decision making procedures. Both awareness and challenges are added in making proper new insights in a collaborative approach. In my opinion, leaders need to be more aware and need to be attentive in gaining new experiences. Question 7 1> The main qualities of a leader are influential approach, motivation and decision making approach that is important in business expansion. 2> The leader needs to guide the team in the proper direction for ensuring the success of a specific organization. It is the main function of a leader in accomplishing the success of an organization that plays a huge role (Thompson & Glasø, 2018). 3> Proper motivation and influence of team members helps the subordinates in accomplishing goals and main objectives. A leader needs to fulfill the success of an organization in guiding the team in the right direction, goals and visions. 4> In achieving the main organization goal, one needs to guide the team with proper confidence and during adverse situations.
