Human Resource Management
Human resource management is the function of management. In which concerned
with maintaining, hiring, motivating. And integrated decision the relationship b/w the
peoples of the in an organization, and contributes to their qualities and ability of the
in organization and the organization employee’s to achieve the organization and
employee’s goals and objectives.

*Role of Human Resource Management*
The role of H R M in an organization.

SELECTION: selection is the 1st function of the HRM. And selection is the process of
choosing persons in a group OR individually. The HR manager are selects the
employee’s for organization to achieve our organization goals and objectives.

Strategic planning: The human Resource Management department the HR managers are
makes the strategic planes and policiesfor the organization. To achieve our organization
aim’s, goals and objectives.
Training and development:The training and development is the most important
function of the HRM. The HR managers are train the organization employee’s and also
development the performance of the organization workers. To achieve the organization goals
and objectives.

Labor Relationship: The H R M department the HR mangers are make the relationship b/w
the top level employee’s and low level employees mean’s labors.

Recruitment: recruitment is the important function of the H R M. in this function the HR
managers recruitment for our organization, mean’s yield Ratio.

Bank is a firm which take the money and give the forward the these money for make the

more money mean’s the profit, the bank the money in low cost of the interest and then give the high
cost level of these money. Mean’s the bank pay the low cost of the money and received the high cost.

H R department: The Human Resource Department is the main
department of the A B L P bank. H R department is those departments which are manage the human
resource in our organization (bank). The department of H R in the bank, the H R department not
managing only the H R department human resource of our department, H R department also
participated other department and personals of the bank.
The H R department of the Allied Bank LTD Pakistan have same activates.

In the Allied Bank LTD Pakistan there are two basic sources of the hiring the organization employee’s
 Outsourcing the hiring of the organization contractual staff like the drivers, office boys
and guard etc.
 Advertisement of the regular staff of the organization. i.e newspapers notes board
etc.

Job analysis is the process of determined the skills and duties which are
requirement for the bank job. And the kind of the persons who are hired for the
organization job collecting the follow information types.

Recruitment is the big function of the H R M department of the Allied Bank LTD Pakistan the major
source of recruiting post employees. The A B L P is advertisement in the bank source board and
newspapers.

Selection:
Selection is the another function of the H R M department of the A B L P.
Selection is the process in which the A B L P in H R department the managers screen out the best and
good candidates for which the A B L P have need and requited.
In allied bank ltd the selection process:






The manager testing the cognitive abilities of the candidates.
The managers test of motor and interest and physical abilities of the candidates.
Achievement abilities of the objectives of the A B L P.
Personality of the candidates.
Interests of the job. Etc.

Testing:
Testing is themost important function of the H R department of the A B L P.
In A B L P they take the IBA form these employees which are want to became a good and have a great
post in A B L P. in this test the A B L P.
I B A test is consist of English, general question and math, statistic, computer knowledge and
intelligence are the part of I B A test. In I B A test also have multiple choice question. In the case of
wrong answer the marks will be go in to negative said. I B A is a written test .Afterthat passing the I B
A test the candidates will be selected for interview.

Interview in A B L P The next step of that candidate is interview when he passes the I B A test. In A B L
P bank the interview is to screen out the best and good candidates for the job in our organization,

*History of the Allied Bank LTD Pakistan*
In the early the Muslims peoples in 1940s they want to a specifics place for save our money.
The 1st name of the allied bank ltd Pakistan was “Australasia bank”.
A B L established in dec 1942 Australasia bank in before independence in Lahore whit that time was
have paid up share capital of bank RS =0.12 million under the chairmanship of the khawajabashir. The
bank attrared deposit equivalents of RS=0.14 millions in it’s the Australasia bank have the business in
the 1st months of the business.
in 1974 the Australasia bank is renamed to Allied Bank LTD Pakistan.
In this time the A B L P bank have the total assets RS=0.573million.
In these days the A B L P bank paid the total capital and reserves RS=10.53billion. deposits exceed
amount 143 billions and the A B L P bank have total assets equal mounts=170 billions.
