Take Action, Miracle Happen
Assalamu’alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,
Your Excellencies the committee,
The honorable of jury,
Dear my friends wh participates in this speech contest,
And my loving brothers and sisters
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent and the Merciful.
All praises be to Allah SWT, the lord of the world, the master of the day after,
the creator of everything in this Universe, where he has no partner and because of
His blessings, we all can gather here. Peace and Salutation be upon our prophet
Muhammad SAW, his family, his friends and his followers. Aamiin.
Indeed, it is very great pleasure for me in this precious chance to deliver my
speech to the most honorable audiences entitled :
“Take Action, Miracle Happen”
Inspired by the title of Life Revolution Seminar by Tung Desem Waringin that
I’ve attended three years ago, I think it’s related to what we have to do as the iron
stock. Because we all know that by the Youth Pledge on 28th October 1928, our
nation was changed from the worse condition to the strong unity with the youth that
has a high quality.
But, nowadays the youth seems so different. They are just talking alot about
the badness of this country and government. They said that they hate and against

2. corruption while they are always cheating in the class from the elementary school
until college and maybe in their whole life, like lying to their parents or by having
more than one girlfriend or boyfriend.
Then if we just talking, nothing would change to be better anyway. But we
have to do something to this nation, take action and not talking alot that nonsense.
We can exploring our potential in any aspects. In this case, I will focus to the
foundation of the iron stock idealism, it’s academic, organization, and nationalism.
As a student, surely we must have a good academic achievement, but it’s not
always by having a cumlaude certificate. However, by we studying seriously and
understanding the material then knowing the implementation to this nation and GPA
not under the standard and increased in every semester even the increasing only
0.01, it’s called a good academic achievements.
Beside the academic, we have to increase our quality by joined the
organizations and the kind of it that have a positive impact for our life. Because we’ll
learn something different in the organizations, we can learn how to have a good
communication ability, how to organize our time and even our emotion because we
interact with others that has various mind and character. Maybe it’s common when
many people said that we have to balancing the academic and organization. But it’s
true, we can’t get enough just by studying in the class. When we get into the citizens,
they will not asking about our grade but they want a real contribution from us and
how we communicate and interact with them, it’s the main assessment from them to
us as the educated people. My seniors that has graduated who said this, so I’m not
talking a lie but based on a real experience.
And last but not least, we have to reinforce our nationalism, we don’t have to
be shy to showing our real identity as an Indonesian. Besides by bought the national
products, we are rich in culture that can be promoted which is attracting the visitor to
come to our country, and also we can explore both of our natural and human
resource by applying our skills that we have learned and we can educate the citizens
too with it.
So, in this time as the iron stock of this nation that will take a place in the
leadership regeneration, we have to struggle with our idealism. From now, we must

3. talk less and do more and promise to ourself that, “I’m Indonesian and proud to be
and I’m the next leader that will break a change this nation with my action, because
take action, miracle happen!”
I think it’s completely enough for me to this point. The wrong utterances are
caused my limitation of my ability and the right one is merely from Allah SWT. So,I
beg your pardon, finally I say.
