• blood, and other ascetic altering makeup
• temporal extension to slow the passage of time and create an effect depending on the
framing
• But unlike most horror film it has comedy as a sub-genre, this is shown by the humor in his
list.The audience now expect this to be funny as well as a horror.
• This now adds the conventions of taboo jokes about the dead, as this is now essentially a
dark comedy.
