Merit based research funding Aim to promote research and reward excellent research performance Faculty Support (cont.) 1 Every year each faculty member was granted NT$ 30,000 as research funding.  2 Each faculty member was subsidized for paper proofreading and  submission fee at maximum amount of NT$20,000 per year.
