Step to upload or cut & paste a file into the TurnItIn Dropbox.

There are two ways to submit to the TurnItIn Dropbox:
Upload and Copy & Paste

2. The first set of directions is for upload. If
you have trouble with uploading your
file, you can use copy and paste. Skip
ahead to Slice 7 for those directions.
Open the dropbox and click the submit button.

3. To upload your file.
Your name will be here.
Give your essay a title.

4. Browse for your file.
Click the upload button.

5. This step lets you verify that
you uploaded the correct
file.
Click the submit button again.

6. You will know your

in your word a paper ID listed.

Go to your portfolio to view
your file, your originality
report, comments and grade.

7. To paste your paper into TurnItIn, choose Cut &
paste upload from the dropdown list.

8. Your name will be here.
Give your essay a title.
Copy your essay and paste it
into the text box.
Click the upload button.

9. You will know your
paper has been
uploaded when you see
a paper ID listed.
Go to your portfolio to view
your file, your originality
report, comments and grade.
