- When I looked up the word “Innovation” in several different dictionaries, I found that even dictionaries weren’t all in agreement on what the word actually meant. To avoid showing preferential treatment of one dictionary over another, in the remainder of my presentation, I will use a composite definition for innovation:.... That being understood, the next question is to ask what is Innovative Thinking?
