by regular pattern of authority.

pedagogical practices.

structured activity systems with an
identifiable boundary.
It is a collection of people engaged in
specialized and interdependent activity
to accomplish a goal or mission.

performing it’s service.• A long period of specialized training.
• A broad range of autonomy for both the individual
practitioner and for
the occupational group as a whole.• An emphasis upon the service to be rendered,
rather than upon the
economic gain to the practitioners, as basis for
the organization and
performance of the social service delegate
to the occupational group.
What is a Professional
Organization?
Professional organization is a group of
people in learned occupation who are
entrusted with maintaining control or
oversight of the legitimate practice of
the occupation. It is a body acting to
safeguard the public interest.
What is a Professional
Organization?Professional organization can enhance
personal and professional development and
provides endless networking opportunities.
It is a well organized body that sometimes
offer courses for personal and professional
development to broaden the knowledge of
its members to make them updated with the
latest innovations , research and trends.

Educational institutions happen to be
the centers of human resource development
and the learners who come out of these
centers are expected to go the society and
take up some responsibility.

by developing good human resources.
Good human resource with ethical and moral
values will ultimately give good service to the
society.

practitioners possess an intimate
knowledge of the professions that they
represent.
Professional Organizations advocate for
the improved educational preparation and
competencies of their members serves
both the public good and the professional
interests of the organization and its

trained professional educators . It is
highly systematic organization with set
goal, vision and mission to accomplish.
Educational institution is a well
organised entity which provides services
and their core activity is educating.

Educators are seen by their learners
as possessing professional expertise
and status.

professionals revolves around their
knowing what is good for their learners
and being able to make impersonal and
