This document outlines the requirements for a hypothetical research study proposal assignment. Students are asked to: 1) Create an abstract that summarizes the research question, subjects, methods, results, and discussion. 2) Write an introduction with a literature review and testable research questions/hypotheses. 3) Develop methods and results sections explaining how the study was conducted and presenting statistical results. 4) Write a discussion section interpreting results and discussing limitations and ethical issues. The research proposal must be at least 15 pages long following APA style guidelines, with 10 scholarly sources cited.
