This document outlines the assignment and grading criteria for discussion questions and responses for a nursing course. Students are asked to post a response to one discussion question by October 1st, and then comment on at least two peers' responses by October 5th. Responses should be supported by academic sources and demonstrate understanding of course materials. The grading criteria evaluate students' discussion question responses, participation responses, connection to professional practice, and writing quality. Three potential discussion topics are provided relating to professional socialization, change theory, and role theory in healthcare.
