Windows of Opportunity
University education is an exciting time in your life, a time for an important
decision about your future. The process of choosing a school goes beyond the questions of
size, location or major. You’re also choosing a new home, new friends, values, role models
and a new set of experiences.
The academic, social and international elements of a university education
combine to offer you many ‘windows of opportunity’. University education helps you see
clearly through those windows – to develop your every talent and ability, to prepare you to
step into life and to get ready to face new challenges.
University education offers you a number of activities and facilities to enhance
your personal physical abilities. It also gives you a sense of community. The friendships you
form are usually the most memorable part of the university experience, and there are many
opportunities to cultivate close associations with fellow students and staff at university. Perhaps
you will become an athlete, writer, artist, or entrepreneur. Or possibly, you are coming to the
university to discover and refine who you are.
University education gives students a global perspective. In this way, you can
