Arabic (plural) of Adab : meanings – “good breeding, decency,
nurture, good manners, refinement, cultured, decorum, courteous,
etiquette, propriety, social grace, to educate, discipline, the
humanities, etc.” sense of proportion and knowledge of their rightful
place in the order of things, the absence of which indicates injustice

[Islam]
Belief Submission Best or
Faith Obedience Righteous
Conviction Practice Conduct
Faith without obedience is meaningless; and obedience without Faith is
mere rituals and may even lead to hypocrisy.
Together, Faith and Obedience must lead to Righteousness with IHSAN
which essentially focus in our intention to sincerely serve Allah s.w.t.
Thus, in these three aspects can one be said to be true in his submission
to the Will of Allah (as Muslim).

27. “Thus, He (Allah) begins the creation of man out of clay;
then He causes him to be begotten out of the essence of a
humble fluid; and then He forms him in accordance with
what he is meant to be, and breathes into him of His spirit:
and [thus, O men,] He endows you with hearing, and sight,
and feelings as well as minds: [yet] how seldom are you
grateful!”
(Qur’an: Sajda: 32: 7-9)

28. “For, [many are] they [who] say, “What! After we have been [dead
and] lost in the earth, shall we indeed be [restored to life] in a new
act of creation?” Nay, but [by saying this] they deny the truth that
they are destined to meet their Sustainer!”
(Qur’an: Sajda: 32: 7-10)

30. “And yet, O man, thine end comes hourly] nearer unto thee, and
nearer –and ever nearer unto thee, and nearer!
DOES MAN, then, think that he is to be left to himself to go about
at will? Was he not once a [mere] drop of sperm that had been
spilt, and thereafter became a germ-cell - whereupon He created
and formed [it] in accordance with what [it] was meant to be,
and fashioned out of it the two sexes, the male and the female?
Is not He (Allah), then; able to bring the dead back to life?”
(Qur’an: Qiyaama: 75: 34-40)

31. “For, [true] servants of the Most Gracious are [only] they
who walk gently (in humility) on earth, and who, whenever
the foolish address them, reply with [words of] peace;”
(Qur’an: Furqan: 25: 63)

32. “ONLY THEY [truly] believe in Our messages who, whenever
they are conveyed to them, fall down, prostrating
themselves in adoration, and extol their Sustainer’s limitless
glory and praise; and who are never filled with false pride;”

34. “Your God is the One God: but because of their false pride,
the hearts of those who do not believe in the life to come
refuse to admit this [truth].
Truly, Allah knows all that they keep secret as well as all
that they bring into the open -[and,] behold, He does not
love those who are given to arrogance,”
(Qur’an: Nahlu: 16: 22-23)

36. “ Blessed is he who are humble (TAWADHU’) without
demeaning himself (losing self-dignity); who lowers himself
but without begging (sympathy) from others; who spent the
wealth he acquired not by being disobedient (MA’SIYAH);
who (honours and) accompany the learned scholars (FAQIH)
and the wise (AHLIL-HIKMAH); and who is kind (caring)
towards the (DZUL-LIY) lowly (down-trodden) and the poor
people (MASAKIN).”

37. “Verily, Allah SWT reveals to me commanding towards TAWADHU’
(humility) – till no one shall pride himself over another.; nor (from
such false pride) to oppress (discriminate), one over another.”

38. Allah SWT said: “Majesty (pride or vain-glory) is my clothe,
and Greatness (arrogance or haughtiness) is my cloak.”

42. “O children of Adam! Do not allow Satan to seduce you in
the same way as he caused your ancestors to be driven
out of the garden: he deprived them of their garment [of
Allah -consciousness] in order to make them aware of
their nakedness. Verily, he and his tribe are lying in wait
for you where you cannot perceive them! Verily, We have
placed [all manner of] satanic forces near unto those who
do not [truly] believe;”
(Qur’an: A’-raf: 7: 27)

43. “and [so,] whenever they commit a shameful deed, they are wont to say,
"We found our forefathers doing it," and, “Allah has enjoined it upon us."
Say: "Behold, never does Allah enjoin deeds of abomination. Would you
attribute unto Allah something of which you have no knowledge?"

“O Allah! You have place upon us an enemy who can see our
privacy and our shortcomings, whereas he and his kind spy upon
us from places which we are unable to see them.
O Allah! Disappoint their hopes towards us, just as You have made
them disappointed in hoping to get Your Mercy (Blessings).
Make them despair (in attaining their plans) towards us, just as
You made them despair from seeking Your Forgiveness.
Keep them away (distance) from us, just as You made them to be
far-away (distance) from Your Paradise.
Verily, You (O Allah) is Most Powerful over everything.”

First Prophecy (revelation) are :
If you feel no shame, then do as you wish.”

and be grateful towards You, and make us serve
(worship) You in the best way.

grateful for those blessings of Thine with which Thou hast
graced me and my parents, and that I may do what is right [in

among Thy righteous servants!” (Qur’an: Naml: 27: 19)

64. “O my Sustainer (Lord)! Inspire me so that I may forever
be grateful for those blessings of Thine with which
Thou hast graced me and my parents, and that I may

goodly acceptance; and grant me righteousness in my
offspring [as well]. Verily, unto Thee have I turned in
repentance: for, verily, I am of those who have
surrendered themselves unto Thee!””

us forgiveness, Have Mercy on us. You are our protector :
Help us against the unbelievers.”
