On this notorious Islamic site we find a rather curious hadith:
Musnad Ahmad 12237 ‫مسند أحمد‬
‫أن رجل من أهل البادية كان اسمه زاهرا كان يهدي للنبي صلى ال عليه وسلم الهدية من البادية فيجهزه رسول‬
‫ال صلى ال عليه وسلم إذا أراد أن يخرج فقال النبي صلى ال عليه وسلم إن زاهرا باديتنا ونحن حاضروه وكان‬
‫النبي صلى ال عليه وسلم يحبه وكان رجل دميما فأتاه النبي صلى ال عليه وسلم يوما وهو يبيع متاعه فاحتضنه‬
‫من خلفه وهو ل يبصره فقال الرجل أرسلني من هذا فالتفت فعرف النبي صلى ال عليه وسلم فجعل ل يألو ما‬
‫ألصق ظهره بصدر النبي‬

A man named Zahir, who used to declare that “the prophet loves me,” said that one
day Muhammad crept unawares behind him and put him in a bear-hug.
Zahir, alarmed, yelled, “Get off me!”. After turning his head and discovering that it
was Muhammad, he stopped struggling and proceeded to “push his back into the
prophet’s chest”
This hadith is present in 44 Islamic books including some highly respected collections
such as "Sunan Al Bayhaqi" and "Al Halabi"

Another curious hadith contained in "Sunan Al Bayhaqi" and which traces to "Sunan
Abu Dawud" (one of the six canonical hadith collections):
Dawud 5224 ‫سنن أبى داود‬
‫فقال أصبرني فقال اصطبر قال إن عليك قميصا وليس علي قميص فرفع النبي صلى ال عليه وسلم عن قميصه‬
‫فاحتضنه وجعل يقبل كشحه قال إنما أردت هذا يا رسول ال‬

Muhammad lift up his shirt for a man who proceeded to kiss his entire torso, “from
his bellybutton to his armpits.”

‫استأذن أبي النبي صلى ال عليه وسلم فدخل بينه وبين قميصه فجعل يقبل ويلتزم ثم قال يا رسول ال ما الشيء‬
‫الذي ل يحل منعه قال الماء‬

Narrated Buhaysah al-Fazariyyah:
My father sought permission from the Prophet (peace_be_upon_him). (When
permission was granted and he came near him) he lifted his shirt, and began to kiss
him and embrace him (out of love for him*).

Misleading translation?
(‫ )فدخل بينه وبين قميصه‬was translated as (He lifted his shirt) instead of (He entered
between him and his shirt)
