b. By saying “Coming Soon” this could mean that more information about the film could be
released at a later date.
2. Quotes about the film (Star Ratings and Comments)
a. Telling the viewer that the film must be good if it is receiving appraisal off of film critics
b. Means that the film is well publicized, if it is receiving positive press

How it scares them?
a. We intend to scare our target audience through the creation of scary scenes that could
occur to any normal person at home.
b. This ranges from the rattling of a door handle all the way through a silhouette walking past
a window at night.

a. On my horror film poster, I have stated a film that the director previously worked on
b. This will get peoples attention, as people who are fans of the film in question, will be
persuaded to go and see this film to see if it is as good if not better.

a. On the main image, we see the horror victim with the horror figure standing behind them
b. This immediately lets the viewer know the genre of the film, the key characters in the film
and possible hints regarding the story

1. One of the things I wanted to do was use a similar image to the poster of the horror film
2. This will ensure that people know it is the same film that they are looking at and that they
see the same actor as the one that appears on the poster.
3. On the magazine front cover, I wanted the focus to be of the main image, which is why I
made sure the text was of a secondary nature in comparison to the image.
