“Eighty percent of IT respondents who trained in the last year said it was a positive
investment for their career path, with more than 85 percent reporting that they
gained new knowledge that could be used in their existing positions. Adding new
skills made a significant difference in some respondents’ base salary. Higher raises
were likely for those who trained as well as for those who earned a certification
within the previous 12 months.”
