This document contains a collection of 20 photographs depicting clashes between protesters and police from various countries and time periods. The photos show protesters confronting or throwing objects at police, police using force such as tear gas or pepper spray against protesters, and in some cases protesters engaging in acts of resistance or protest such as placing flowers in police weapons. The collection aims to illustrate the tensions that can arise between those demonstrating and the police forces deployed to control demonstrations.
