2. SIMPLE PRESENT
(To express activities – States, happen now)

3. SIMPLE PAST
(To express actions happening at a defined
moment in the past)

(To express decisions made at the moment
about the future, predictions, promises or
some planned action)

5. PRESENT CONTINOUS
(To express actions happening at the present
moment and still happens now)

6. PAST CONTINOUS
(To express interupted past action or action
happening at a specific moment in time in the
past)

7. FUTURE CONTINOUS
(To Express future action at a specific
moment in the future)

8. PRESENT PERFECT
(To express action that happened un
unspecified past, or a recent effect that has a
present effect, or finished event)

9. PAST PERFECT
(To express an action before another action
in the past)

10. FUTURE PERFECT
(To express what will have happened or how
long something will have happened up to a
certain point in the future)

11. PRESENT PERFECT CONTINOUS
(To express the duration of a continuous
activity begun in the past and continuing into
the present)

Example: She has been learning english for
3 years
12. PAST PERFECT CONTINOUS
(To express to a continuous activity begun
before another activity in the past)

13. FUTURE PERFECT CONTINOUS
