world increases. Other attributes may be taken in account to assess the quality of HEI as
benchmark is student attainment or how well graduates do in the employment market.

• Indonesian higher education Policies in the era of Industrial
Technology 4.0 has also been being modified to be in
appropriate ones:
• Curriculumn Orientation;
- New literatures (data, technology and humanities) is developed and
taught;
- Extra curriculer activities in order to develop leadership skills and team
works, should be implemented;
- Entrepreneurship and internship is compulsory;
• Hybrid/Blended learning, online;
- Applying hybrid/blended learning through SPADA-IdREN;
• Establishing life-long learning unit;
It is reccomended that higher education institutions have working unit for
providing life-long learning services;
• Providing grants and technical guidance services for
curriculum re-orientation;

• Joint/double degree programs that are currently being done in
a tradisional way (face-to-face methods) may also be modified
to optimize the use of tools and modern technology in
supporting teaching-learning process. One of the opportunities
is through blended-learning /online courses and Massive Open
Online Courses (MOOC);
• Establishing the Indonesian Cyber Education Institute to
support development of online course/blended-learning;
• Strengthening linkages between academic and industry to
initiate more innovation and invention.
• Improving a talent of enterpreneurship and increasing
opportunities for internship to build creative thinking and
solutions.
