10 commandments of Twitter use
1. Put up an avatar
2. Use a Twitter handle easy to spell/remember
3. Tweet regularly
4. Reply to people that tweet at you
5. Engage in conversation
6. Learn and use hashtags for your subject field/topic
7. Ask questions
8. Don't just post links to news articles
9. Do show your personality. Crack some jokes.
10. Have fun
