with others dimension
Technological exploration by maker movement:
digital fabrication, maker tools, digital design
and prototyping infrastructures
Social innovation dimension
Specific characteristics of social innovation

The DOIT learning and innovation setting: Co-creation, design
and prototype for social good in a makerspace
• Learning by construction (Do it yourself / Do it with others)
• Maker and digital fabrication tools, the Internet as optional
tool (but not a requirement)
• Open learning practices and educational approach
stimulating creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship
• Intergenerational ideation, co-development and design
