This Powerpoint has all the types of design i did till i finalised my final one.

FRONT COVER
MAGAZINE VERSIONS

2. Version 1
In my first version I have put the logo in
the left top corner of the magazine and
put a question at the top for my
audiences like the existing magazine and
put the inside information at the right side
of the magazine.
I put a caption underneath the
picture so then audience will
know that I am talking about
the picture. I also put another
question and page number so it
will be easier to access.
I used different colours as well as
fonts because my questionnaire
research showed that my audience
likes colourful and bright front
cover. Moreover, I put a barcode as
this is required and conventional.

3. Version 2
In the second version I
added a new
information about
Beyoncé as this space
was empty.
I put a bright colour circle on
the cover and put a
advertisement on it and
moved the inside information
to the left bottom corner as it
was right in front of the
picture.
I changed the colour of the
caption as it didn’t stand
out in white.

4. Version 3
In this version I rotated
circle and the text a
little bit to see if it would
look more professional.
I changed the font of
the word “Rap” make it
stand out from the rest.

5. Version 4
In this version I underlined the
question and changed the
justification as well as the font to
make it stand out rather than jut
the word “Rap”.
I also put the word
“Inside” above the
advert.
I have used the same font for
most of the writing and
different size on the cover.

6. Version 5
In this version I put
the question right
at the top to see if
would look good.
I put the
information about
Beyoncé a bit
down to leave
space at the top.
In my research I have seen the
existing magazine that they
always put the name of their
magazine in small font
somewhere on the cover so I
put it underneath the barcode .

7. Version 6
In this version, I filled up the
space by putting a quote
like the other magazines in
my research.

8. Version 7
I put the price of £2.50 on the
cover so audience will know how
much it cost.
I moved it down and put the
yellow circle at the top and
moved the quote down to
see if it would relevant for my
picture.
In my research I found that all
magazines have an web address
so I put a web address on the
side.

9. Version 8
I also wrote “VS” in a smaller
font than the rest to make the
name of the rappers stand out.
In my 8th version I just
removed the quote
and kept everything
the same.

10. Version 9
I changed the font of the question
and deleted the name of the rappers
and instead just added a page
number, this is to get my audience
intrigued so they will want to read on.
I also made the question mark big to
show its importance.
I made a huge change to my Logo.
I deleted the name of the
magazine that was in pink with the
letter “E” and changed it to simple
logo with the name of the
magazine in white and brought
the name a bit down.
In this final version, I changed the
gradient to black turning to white.
This is to give the RNB vibe and also
to make it little bit compatible with
the picture.
I moved the picture a bit
from the edge of the
magazine.

11. Version 10
In this version I
only changed the
texts to various
fonts and kept
the same colours.
