1. COMPARISON
There are several ways to make comparisons:
1. SUPERIORITY:

- SHORT ADJECTIVES: 1 syllable adjectives add –er (comparative) and –est (superlative)
You’ll be HAPPIER if you go to a hotel.
-Some 2 syllable adjectives add the same suffixes: happ-y, simp-le, clev-er.
-LONG ADJECTIVES: add MORE before them
-The view is MORE WONDERFUL from this room.
THAN is used before the thing or person in comparison.

an opposite adjective:
- Tom is TOO SHORT to play basketball
- We have to find the OPPOSITE ADJECTIVE (TALL) followed by the adverb
ENOUGH:

- Tom is NOT /ISN’T TALL ENOUGH to play basketball.
