Greet Each Day With A Sense

This is the choice you have every day.You can be, in the
words of George Bernard Shaw, “a feverish, selfish little
 clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the
 world will not devote itself to making you happy,” or
  you can be an eagle soaring effortlessly in the sun.
Cultivate Extreme Resilience

  Imagine you’re a civil engineer called to build a road
through difficult terrain. You notice loose shale, a granite
mountain that lies squarely in the way of your proposed
road, marshy ground and so on. You don’t rail against any
 of those obstacles. They are simply the constraints that
     you have to accommodate. The challenge itself is
                       exhilarating!
Drop The Useless Baggage

Are there troublesome people at work? The next time
 you work with one, forget the history. Don’t expect
 that the interaction will be unpleasant. Expect that it
  will be delightful, and if it is not, then let it go. Don’t
 carry it to the next time you have to work together.
Step Outside Your Me-Centered
          Worldview

 There is one way in which every single person is similar
  to you. Everyone is desperately seeking happiness. If
you’re conscious that everyone has the same desire, then
  you find yourself gravitating toward being of service
              instead of being demanding.
Eschew Multitasking: Try
         Mindfulness Instead

One way people try to cope with information overload
 is by multitasking. You probably do it too, and you may
  even consider it a strength. Disabuse yourself of this
idea. Multitasking simply means that you do many things
          badly and take much more time at it.
