5. " Active listening makes a better listener..".
* This is where you make a conscious effect to
hear not only the words that another person is
speaking, but more importantly to try and
comprehend the total message being sent....
* For this we should have to became an active
listener..and for being an active listener we
should have to decline the skill of an active
listening...
* So further we are going to discuss about an active
listening.

Active listening has various purposes:

* There are some basic qualities to become
the good /effective listener :
I. A good listener shows interest in what is
being communicated.
II. A good listener provides feedback to the
message received.
III. A good listener shuns distracting actions

disrupting speaker, to clarify doubts and
and assures the speaker that she/he is

V. A good listener makes an eye-contact and
gives positive non-verbal signals like head
nods and appropriate facial expressions.

what the speaker is trying to convey that what
she / he wishes to understand.

* The receiver should carefully listen to the
message to feel the pulse of the sender,
to understand more and reaction, which
allows freedom of expression to the speaker.

For an example.: we listen to lectures or
instructions from teachers and what we learn
depends on how we listen to them.
