 Leadership is a process whereby and
indivual influences a group of indiviuals
to achieve a common goal( Northouse,
pg.3, 2004)
 According to Nieburg (1969), “conflict is
of power”, and “the over all structure of
expectations constituting a state shapes
the nature and direction of manifest
conflict”.
 There are many definitions of leader
which many famous people have. For
example;
According to Richard Daft; a leadership is
recognized as an ability that affects
other people in order to reach expected
aims.
 Profits of groups and individuals
 When people are competing for the same
resources (such as territory, jobs and
income, housing), conflicts
 The identities of individuals
 Everyone needs to be recognised as an
individual with a personal identity; everyone
needs to be able to feel safe. When people
feel threatened - regardless of whether the
threat is real. If these needs aren't met,
people protest, and protesting can lead to
conflict
 Education level
 There are many regime styles that may
change basing on the education level of
societies. If a society is illliterate, the
people who live in that society can not
have right to speak so much.If a leader
tries to make liberal a society that has
low education level, conflict culture may
be created suddenly like in Iraq.
 The different needs of society
 When the people may be unhappy
with how they are governed, conflict
arises. The most common conflicts occur
when a particular group wants to be
independent from a central
government, or when their viewpoint isn't
represented in the government.
 Personal characteristics
 Bad leaders in terms of their features;
. Using violence
. Unfair
. Unforgiving
. Poor communication with society
. Selfish
. Deceitful
. Poor management
 Ethnics
 Ethnic differences can cause conflict.
People's ethnicity gives them a sense of
identity and belonging, and it is threats
to this sense which can cause violent
responses.
 Views
 Conflicts arise when people's beliefs
clash. Religious and political views are
particularly sensitive, because people
often depend on these for a sense of
identity and belonging. Some leaders
may aggravate religious and political
differences as part of their tactics for
keeping or gaining power

and 10 females with avarage age 22.1.

According to the United Nations; peace
making has an impact role to prevent
conflict in society.
The basic characteristics of peace
making;
› To control conlifct in a peacefull ways.
› Peace making is a kind of intervention that is
not based on violence and coercive.
 For society;
› Education level
Whatever countries names are, illiterate
society has to be governed by authoritic
system.
The socities that have high education
level have right to governed themselves
 For individuals;
If individuals are satisfied with how they are
govern they can feel in safe.
 For culture; if people learn to understand
that differing cultures are not inevitably a
threat to each other, they will also learn
how to manage their differences co-
operatively and peacefully.
 When we think about all perspectives
,there is a common ground to handle
with conflict between society and
leaders. Every country should integrate
at common ground that is to say every
innovation mades should be belong to
their own country and their people.

  • 13.  Leadership is a process whereby and indivual influences a group of indiviuals to achieve a common goal( Northouse, pg.3, 2004)  According to Nieburg (1969), “conflict is of power”, and “the over all structure of expectations constituting a state shapes the nature and direction of manifest conflict”.
  • 14.  There are many definitions of leader which many famous people have. For example; According to Richard Daft; a leadership is recognized as an ability that affects other people in order to reach expected aims.
