Pre-production elements like locations, scripts, and costumes are developed before filming. Locations are selected to set the proper atmosphere and permission may be needed to film outside of school. The group will write a script to outline the editing order and provide context for actors. Each character will be designed in-depth to help actors understand their roles. Production involves makeup and adjusting lighting on set. Makeup may not be needed since actors knew the filming schedule, but will be available. Lights may be rented in case adjustments are needed. Post-production includes editing the recorded footage on Final Cut Pro and adding visual effects and non-diegetic sounds for drama.

1. Pre Production
Are elements within filming that are
developed prior to filming for example
locations selected, scripts written and
costume.

2. Locations
• Our locations are important to be selected in advance
to create the correct atmosphere in the scene. We also
would also have to seek permission if we were to film
outside of school.
Script
• My group and I will be developing our own script so we
are all aware of what order we will be editing and so
our actors and actresses will know what they need to
say and what context they are in.

3. Costume
• Each member of my group will be going in to
depth about a charter in our characterisation
design section. This will help our actresses and
actors understand more about their
character.

4. Production
Is what takes place during film for
example makeup and adjustment of
lighting.

5. Makeup
• As the characters had known in advance when we
would be filming there may not be need for
makeup. However to keep the trailer continuous
we will keep makeup with us on set.
Lighting
• Lighting may be an issue during filming therefore
my group and I may choose to book out Paglights
from the school so we can be prepared if we
need to adjust the lighting.

6. Post Production
Is the after math of production for
example editing what has been
recorded.

7. Editing
• This will be carried out on final cut pro we will
be able to add visual effects as well as non-
diegetic sounds to the trailer to create
dramatics.
