I used contrasting fonts and added a subtle orange glow to the world halloween. I kept the original background of the photo because I like how it has the contrast of light and dark. Soft edges around photo
Added shadow and soft green line around photo; made more transparent so text would stand out; added glow to “Summer’s End” to help text stand out

Contrasts, but is boring
Added white glow to orange text to balance the colors
Added green glow for some eerie contrast on the page
Used soft edges to blend the harsh line of the photo with the black background. Largest photo available on Flickr; could not make larger without pixelation
