Identifying whether they are capitalist or socialist quotes – Ss will
understand the definition of capitalism and socialism, their ideals and the
society that we live in now. From here, they will look at quotes and decide
whether they are socialist or capitalist, and reasons for this decision.

All pupils will be able to understand the meaning ofsocialism and capitalism,as well as identify quotes from the text to see whether they supportcapitalism or socialism. Identifying whether they are capitalist or socialist quotes – Ss will understand the definition of capitalism and socialism, their ideals and the society that we live in now. From here, they will look at quotes and decide whether they are socialist or capitalist, and reasons for this decision.
