The student learned several technologies through creating their music magazine project. They used Photoshop to edit, position, and manipulate images to create the layout, gaining experience working with images. They also experimented with brightness, contrast, and levels. Additionally, the student used BlogSpot throughout their coursework, improving their skills in blog layout and design. Overall, their skills with programs like Photoshop and BlogSpot increased as they developed their coursework project.

What have you learnt about technologies from the process of
constructing this product?

2. Photoshop
I used Photoshop to edit my images, to position them and create the
layout of my music magazine and I feel that this was the best way this
as it’s easier to manipulate images compared to any other programme. I
also changed the brightness/contrast of my images and experimented
with the levels to make my images a better quality.
BlogSpot
BlogSpot has been used throughout my
coursework and is the main way for me
to display the work I have done. My
skills and knowledge have improved
with regards to the layout and design
of my blog.
Overall my skills and techniques of different programme’s has increased and this is through the
development of my coursework. Previously, I hadn’t used BlogSpot that much and I now understand the
recently changed layout of it and know how to blog.
