2. Third Thriller Idea: She Was Here
 Plot: In the pleasant Town of Bury St Edmund, an old woman created
herself a secret, twisted and depraved way to get what she wanted.
Phoebe Lewis, a sweet girl with a wonderful family, seemed to be her
latest prize in this perverse scheme. Trapped in a house of horrors for 5
years, Phoebe finds herself with one other prisoner: a teenage boy that
might just be her salvation or her downfall and has been trapped for 7
years. Will Phoebe's dad, the Chief of Police, ever find her and finally
string the clues together? Or, will she be the next victim to fade away
forever just like Xavier? What does her captor want from her? Why
her?

3. Opening Sequence:
In the opening sequence, it will start off with close ups of an elderly woman
going about her daily chores. E.g getting out of bed, brushing her teeth,
making some breakfast etc etc.
However… between each frame of the elderly women going about her daily
routine there will be flashes of our main protagonists, Phoebe Lewis,
kidnapping by an unknown source.
As the tension builds and the frames become faster and faster and the music
builds, suddenly it will all stop as the elderly woman walks down a set of
stairs and disappears into the darkness…

5. Thriller Conventions:
This is my third Thriller Film idea. The idea itself includes a few of the main
conventions and elements of Thriller Films. Use of suspense and tension to create
excitement to engage the audience. It would be classified as the Thriller sub-genres of
Mystery, Crime and Psychological Thriller. The Thriller itself would have the
atmosphere of menace, violence, crime and murder. The Thriller would also have
literary devices such as a plot twist and would finish on a cliff hanger. It would also
have the idea of a 'whodunnit' mystery thriller as for a few short seconds, the
audience and the main character don't know who committed the crime. Also, it
would have the ideas of a crime thriller as there is a kidnapping .Principle
Concealment of the plot is used to create the shock factor for the audience and make
them work for the answers. It also features conventional characters types such as:
detectives, innocent victims, psychotic individuals, cops, and people involved in a
twisted relationship.
