- Phil Bradley (Information Specialist, Internet Consultant & CILIP Vice-President) explains that “ Web 1.0 is computer-based and uses installed software whereas Web 2.0. uses the web as a platform and uses browsers.” Web 2.0. enables sharing, engagement and community building
- Here – talk about colleagues work with Voices from the library – ‘like minded people who wanted to make a difference Supportive – wrote first blog post and followers were very kind. Colleague has been asked to edit a book for new professionals I’ve been asked to be someone’s mentor and to write chapters in 2 books. Conferences – meeting people I’ve spoken to online.
- Conferences – as exhibitor and as conference org...lilac tweetup/ people feel welcome – great for international delegates.
- Some say that for Western cultures some people see facebook as the internet.
