• Simply the leader do what he/she expects the
followers to do.
• Why: The physiology of the human brain
causes people to imitate.
• Definition: “Leaders shall establish the way people
should be treated and the way goals should be
achieved by creating standards, then set examples
for others to follow.”

• Be clear about the business values & goals
• Behave consistently with these values
• Do as you expect other to behave
• Make it easier for others to achieve goals
• Achieve small “wins”, by break down big
projects into achievable steps

 Situation:
 Recent re-structure… Clear separation of
responsibilities (Design, Operation & Planning)
 Recently I had two projects
 Conflicts, blames & miss-understanding
My Case

 How I handle that?
 Decided to reduce gap between the team
 I set clear goals and establish milestones for the
team in order to have quick small “wins”.
 I start engaging operation & design team at early
stages of the project to clear conflicts.
 Set goals that are achievable. Tell people what
the key milestones are so that they can easily
see their progress.

IndexIndex  How I handle that?  Decided to reduce gap between the team  I set clear goals and establish milestones for the team in order to have quick small “wins”.  I start engaging operation & design team at early stages of the project to clear conflicts.  Set goals that are achievable. Tell people what the key milestones are so that they can easily see their progress. My Case
