3. Army students go to the 229 th Military Intelligence Battalion. The 229 th ’s Companies are grouped by languages.
4. The DLI is in one of the most popular tourist areas of the USA, and is just 2 hours south of San Francisco.

6. Some DLI students attend Monterey Peninsula College or other local colleges off duty, or CLEP classes, so that they can receive their Associates Degree when they receive their language diploma.
