character. I am used to working in GMP style areas and am experienced in validation as well as
service and calibration. I am a self-motivator, can adapt to any situation and am able work well
under my own initiative, or equally as part of a team. I enjoy a challenge and thrive on finding
solutions. I am computer literate and am competent in using the Microsoft Office package. I hold a
full driving license.

Aero-Electrical Apprenticeship
During my apprenticeship I spent two years in the Training Centre learning the theory involved in
becoming an Aero-Electrical Engineer. I then went on to spend six months in avionics where I
gained experience in general flight instrument diagnosis and repair, equipment calibration and
overhaul, Radar, Sonar and IFF (Identify Friend or Foe).
In the final year of my apprenticeship I worked on the shop floor helping in all areas of the aircraft
repair and overhaul. I worked on various forces aircraft including Sea King, Lynx, Chinooks and
Gazelles.
SKILLS
GRA Certificate of Achievement
This was gained by completing a Development Training Course as part of my Apprenticeship. The
residential five day course included self-catering, land navigation, initiative and problem solving
exercises, raft building, rock climbing and abseiling, Canadian canoeing, a land based expedition
with overnight stay, communications exercises and a presentation to visitors.
