3. 1. Cut out the circles on your paper. 2. Now personalize the worms! Make swirls, dots, and lines in different colors. Add a silly face, some words, or the name of a favorite book.
4. 3. Flip the bookmark over and decorate the other side a whole new way! 4. Embellish the bookmark with ribbon, string, or yarn tied into the hole at the top. Add self-adhesive google eyes or other decorations, too.
6. At the front of the class I have paint swatches. Come choose 2 of your favorite colors. Hole punch 1 hole at the top of your bookmark. String a ribbon through them. To string a ribbon see next slide….
7. Fold the ribbon so the two ends come together Push the folded end (not the loose ends) through your hole Insert your loose ends through the loop Pull snug (not tight)
9. Come to me and I will place a piece of tape on your wrist like a bracelet. We will do a nature walk outside and collect leaves and flower petals. Try to get flat items rather than bulky ones. When you come in we will put another piece of tape over your current one to make the bookmark

11. Select envelopes to use Cut the corner off the envelope and use the corner to create your bookmark You can now decorate it Experiment with different kinds of envelopes
